Manage process instances
Greetings!I have two fundamental questions:
1. how to administer instances of Oracle 10 g BPM process. For example, how can I see all runing instances in the bpm (as in BPELConsole) engine? How to kill and instance? How can I see the State of an instance? This is fundamental to any BPM engine, but I do not see BPM Oracle 10g.
2 oracle BPM 10 g guess to have more collaboration options, for example, routing of activities to other participants (delegating or scaling), sending questions to other participants etc. But, I tried approach to forward one activity to the other participant to the workspace and I can not get the opportunity to do. It seems very simple ah?
Thanks in advance for you answers and advice.
Hi Lopez
To display all the in-flight or in instances of process there are two alternatives
i. connection in your workspace and add the following filter conditions: a) work items tab click on the hyperlink to show filters.
(b) select now all available in the project process and labour dropdown, select the value of "anyone, in any role.
(c) check the checkbox value "Inprocess" & click on apply filter.
All inprocess instances will be displayed, the status column, you can view the status of the particular instance.
II. or execute the query in your database from the engine below:
Select * from pprocinstance I where not in i.state (32,64);

How to do task list manager process in alphabetical order
I don't know what the * I did but I was cleaning my keyboard that gave rise to many keys in presses and when I opened the Task Manager processes were no longer in alphabetical order, they appear from Z to A. How can I fix it? I searched on the net for a solution, but came away empty-handed. Something I've done done go haywire.
[Moved from comments]
Click on where it says Image name.
In most of the lists like that in Windows, clicking on a column header will sort the list in this column. Clicking again will reverse the sort order.

What is w8edc4.exe and winyxci.exe in the Task Manager processes
I see these two exe files in my XP Task Manager process, but Google and Bing cannot find any info on them. I guess they are some kind of virus, but am not sure.
Sometimes, when a malware gets on your system, it will take on a name composed of a few letters and random numbers.
If you can't find them in a search on the Internet and the suspicious look (like those that do) file names, your system probably now has or has had a malware infection.
Perform scans for malware, and then fix any problems:Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/They can be uninstalled later if you wish. -
PDF Adobe Reader by default manager process
Currently, we use Adobe Reader XI in a Windows 7 environment but have recently been deploying PowerPDF of shade to complete. Adobe Reader XI is still the default, but some sites have had problems - we found the solution is to open Adobe Reader, select Edition-> general Preferences and click Select Manager of default PDF. This solves our problem by running a Setup program and eventually fix any files have been modified by the PowerPDF, same if PowerPDF was never defined as the default value.
The problem is that we do for over 900 users in several offices. Y at - it a command or an automated way to run this process through Group Policy or a script? It is not as simple to select only a default file association, that he must perform as exactly the processes of whatever by clicking on "select default PDF handler" don't. Thank you!
While comparing registry PowerPDF install vs the default PDF Manager process I think I could find a solution to the issue - it is the result of the install of PowerPDF deletion of a registry key.
With XI of Adobe installed before PowerPDF, the following key exists:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\MIME\Database\Content-MIME/pdf
It contains the following strings:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\MIME\Database\Content MIME/pdf\Extension: ".pdf".
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\MIME\Database\Content MIME/pdf\CLSID: "{CA8A9780-280D-11CF-A24D-444553540000}.
When installing PowerPDF, I confirmed that the whole key for HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\MIME\Database\Content MIME/pdf is removed, even if PowerPDF is configured to not be by default in the Customization Wizard of their. I could see that running Adobe "Select default PDF Manager" adds the back, the question of fixing. Fortunately, adding back registry keys are an easy solution.

Run Analtytics Extended / create diagrams from star status level management processes
HFM dear gurus,.
I came across a requirement where I need to automate analytical extraction extended depending on the revision level / status of the entities to be approved. Once the status of process management passed to approve pending level 3 status or they are under level 3 review, corresponding to 3-4 extracts will take place on different levels of data (can be basic level, parent, settings etc. for various scenarios). Another condition is that either method is built, it must run every hour to check the status of the process management and extract as a result, you should not extract if already excerpt in the last series (is that if the extraction was already performed in the last hour to RL3 and the entity is still in RL3 in the next hour It should not run the extract, if the RL3 passes to approved, the extract must be run. I know it of a lot to ask, ask your advice on how to proceed with the same. Any help would be much appreciated.
Best regards,
SIDD.
Hello Thanos,
I was able to do this using excel and HFM API. What I did to dynamically create a grid of management processes in excel dynamically refresh the data, check this data against the State previous level exam which gets dynamically copied from the old update, generate a list of entities located in RL3 / approved (change status) and then based on that generate snippets using the API of HFM. I was able to generate this in 11.1.2.3 and using libraries of corresponding API that supports the version of 11.1.2.1.
Thank you and best regards,
SIDD.

11g BPM - definition of the instance of a running process instance data
Hello
What is the recommended model to interrupt the running process instance and modify an instance variable (data object)?
Scenario is:
-process instance is launched with an interactive look at the instance data
-an event is fired, effectively the interruption of the instance and change the instance data
-as soon as the user opens the screen for the interactive data has changed
Any help much appreciated.
see you soon
TonyHi Tony,.
It depends on what version you have.
If you use an earlier version or 11.1.1.5 (without the feature pack), I think that arun Pareek has an old blog on how to do it using BPEL. I can find it for you if you need.
If you use 11.1.1.5 (with the feature pack) or more, you can use a correlation as we are used to use in 10g. Let me know if you need more information, but your process would need to have:
1. a defined correlation that is unique
2. a subprocess of the event which has a startup (no-the interrupting) Message event that uses the correlation (this sub-process of the event, that's what you would use from outside the process to notify the process).
3A inside the subprocesses of the event, you would be directed to an update activity that would change the value of the variable in the main process (perhaps put to a value you pass in from outside the process via the subprocesses of the event start Message event).Hope it gets you going. Let me know if you need more details.

Please check if the number of processes went under demand - competitor > Manager > Define > query "Standard Manager" > work shifts > process
Or, ask FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES - http://etrm.oracle.com/pls/trm11510/etrm_pnav.show_object?c_name=FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES&c_owner=APPLSYS&c_type=TABLE
If the number of processes is 10, then shut down the CM and run the script cmclean.sql - simultaneous treatment - CMCLEAN. SQL - Script Non-destructive to clean the simultaneous Tables Manager [ID 134007.1]

Getting the activity process instance information
We need following:
The process instance will be created manually or integration of another system. It is not possible to have two instances running in the same process, so we want to check if there is already an instance running for a given process. The company information that uniquely identifies the process are attributes of the process data object.
We know how:
(1) check if it is already existing instance of the process that gives the information of the company that identifies it
(2) check that the existing instance is running or completed completed
We want to know if there is no existing API, we can use to achieve the needs above, what are their and where you can find more information of their use.
We tried to look in the documentation of the API which methods might be useful, but we were not able to identify the existing documentation, any one who was able to attend to our needs.
We have also not found any topic in this forum on this topic.
If possible, please give us some examples of use.
Version: Oracle BPM 11gHello
In SOA Suite 11 g, you can use the Java API with Composite sensor to achieve this behavior:
1. first create a composite sensor in the operation to create the composite process instance, during initialization of the sensor with the company information that uniquely identifies the process. This composite sensor can be used to locate the composite instance EM or through the API. See http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/integration.1111/e10224/sca_compsensors.htm#insertedID0 for more information about the creation of Composite sensor
2. with the help of the Java APIs (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/apirefs.1111/e10659/toc.htm), find the composite instance by the Composite sensor, as explained: http://blogs.oracle.com/soabpm/2009/08/soa_suite_11g_-apipart_3_-_f.html. With a reference to the composite instance, you can check its States of internal components.
The following libraries must be imported in your java project:
-/oracle_common/modules/oracle.fabriccommon_11.1.1/fabric-common.jar
-/oracle_common/soa/modules/oracle.soa.mgmt_11.1.1/soa-infra-mgmt.jar
-/wlserver_10.3/server/lib/weblogic.jar
-/oss_11gr1/soa/modules/oracle.soa.fabric_11.1.1/oracle-soa-client-api.jar
-/oracle_common/webservices/wsclient_extended.jar I hope this can help.
Kind regards

start in the middle of the process instance
Processes can be long.
If I use PAPI, stand-alone 10g BPM and BPM studio 10g, can a process instance will be started in the middle of this process (not since)?
SincerelyIf you want to start an instance of work in the middle of a process item, you always come in the beginning of a process activity. Once he finished the activity of Begin, there are many ways to make the flow to a specific activity in the process, but the easiest would be to have a conditional transition to activity where you want to start. You would typically set the input argument in the activity of Begin (for example, "goToMiddleOfProcessArg") which would in turn be mapped to an instance variable (for example, "goToMiddleOfProcess") in the activity to Begin. The logic in the conditional transition coming out Begin activity on activity in the middle of the process would use the instance variable to determine if he should shoot. To clean the diagram, you can have the activity streams Begin to a "hold" instead of directly in the middle of the process activity.

How a BPEL process instance knows you cancel (ed)?
The javadoc for the cancel() method IInstanceHandle said: "When an activity is canceled, the performer of the activity is informed of the cancellation and has the ability to restore or cancel any work that has been done in the name of the activity."
How is the user who performs the notified activity? A kind of fault? It can encode a Manager 'Cancel' in the BPEL process, or the "rollback or undo" everything is done behind the scenes?
Either a complete response or a pointer to the appropriate documentation (that I still could find) would be nice. Thank you.The BPEL instance can be cancelled via the BPEL API or through the console (Abort instance) or due to an error. Then the BPEL Process Manager detects this and cancel the currently running instance. The instance will make a cancellation of transaction, depending on whether it was a global (XA) or local transactions. This entire mechanism is run behind the scenes.

Connection manager process BPEL in Jdev

Other IE BPEL domain not run.
In the EM console under oc4j_soa instance all services except ascontrol and javasso are running.
Help, please.

Firefox crashes whenever I open a site in flash like Youtube. If I open to the process task manager, then I see that flashplayerplugin will try and start over and over again and seems to hang over and over again. My Firefox and flash player are up to date. I tried to uninstall and reinstall firefox and flash player. I tried to turn off all the other modules. I even tried to install older versions of flash player, and nothing has worked. My wife uses Firefox to work, so is it possible to fix it?
You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:
- disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
- Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)
- turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
Alternatively, you can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

in the Task Manager, processes is called xxfirefox.exe is - this legitimate?
Upgrade to Firefox 9, when I look in the Task Manager, the name is XXFIREFOX.exe. Firefox has been hijacked or is the new name for the v4?
The main Firefox process is always named firefox.exe in Windows 32-bit operating systems.
I would be very suspicious of a process named XXFIREFOX.exe. My advice is to run a full scan with your anti-virus software, and who does not find a problem if doing a "search > for files and folders" for this executable.
