  • XP hangs at startup and the dialog box provides the following: a problem has prevented Windows to check exactly the State of this computer

I am rebuilding a system that has been attacked by several viruses and had to rebuild XP using the Windows installation disc.  After completing the repair, I was greeted by the XP logon screen and I tried to log in as administrator. The standard screen grass-hill appears followed by a Windows dialog box to activate product indicating "a problem has prevented windows to check exactly the State of this computer.  To keep your copy of windows must be activated with Microsoft. You want to activate Windows now? "If I choose 'No', then Windows drives me back to the login screen.  If I choose "Yes" then Windows does nothing - activation does not occur and XP does not start... the system just hangs.   I also tried to open a session without failure, but he said that I could not activate safe mode and started back me to the login screen.  I am able to get to a command prompt, if I select Mode safe mode with prompt at startup.  FYI, I am able to view the structure of this version XP Directory when I configure the HARD disk as a slave on another system drive.  Any help to resolve this matter will be highly appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem and after 2 days of searching and trying stuff found on the internet, I have solved this problem.

At my computer configuration: Windows XP sp3 with IExplorer 8, but had to go back to the repair facility after that some system files have been corrupted, do not know why.
My repair CD installation was: Windows XP sp2

In my view, the main problem is that after the installation of repair, the system obtained in conflict of existing versions of IExplorer 7 and 8. IE 7 & 8A prevented the application of activation of MS (OOBE) of working after the installation of repair, the OOBE application silently chrashed and prevented the logon process.

I couldn't connect even in safe mode, BUT with failure + command prompt, safe mode I managed to log on! So, choose the mode without failure + command promt in the trunk. Then open a session with success. Then close the command prompt and press CTRL + ALT + DEL to Task Manager. In task manager launches the new application "c:" and answer 'No' to the following question, and after an error message you c: drive open and you'll have office. You can close the System Restore Wizard who opened. Then go to c:\windows\ie7\spuninst and run spuninst.exe. Do the same to c:\windows\ie8\spuninst. After you have uninstalled both, restart windows, and after the first issue of activation, you should get the big activation dialog box.

I have spent a lot more time, because I was told that uninstall IE7 and IE8 is possible to do this via the command prompt. I did, but it has not fixed my problem. Then I tried a thousand other tricks at the same time.

Please let us now if this helped you.

  • Computer hangs at startup of the system

Original title: computer crashed win Defrag

I recently picked up win defrag... I have windows xp and tried to put it in safe mode, and it froze.  Now it is completely empty when I try to start :(  I removed my hardrive and crossed norton key usb connected to another computer.  It's still frozen... I'm on the right track?  How can I manually remove the infected files from another computer?  Please help-

    K

    Hi katkit,

1 did you stop defragmentation on the drive?
    2. using Norton on another computer, were you able to remove the infected hard disk files?
    3. do you get an error at startup of the system?

You are on the right track if your hard drive is infected with the virus. However if you try to do something else, then I think not that it is a good idea. After scanning of the hard drive, connect it to the computer problem and start insafe mode.

  • Flash Professional CS6 hangs at startup...

What follows is the story of a frustrated flash user.

Yesterday, the lightning worked well for the whole day. Then, in an attempt to 'stupid' to open a big enough (1920px x 1080px) file, the program crashed. 'Well,' thought I, 'I will restart the program. '' No luck.

Now, I'm facing a terrible problem. The program loads, it will, but as soon as it reaches the home page, it crashes. Subsequently, the UI greys out and the top of the window reads as follows: (no response).

I searched the internet for hours, and my research gave answers but no solutions. I found this thread (https://forums.adobe.com/message/5884097) and followed all the patches that it had to offer, but none of them worked. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it with no luck. I uninstalled Java Runtime Environment 7 and installed Java Runtime Environment 6. I've updated everything.

What makes the problem even more strange is that Flash will be responsible if I restart my computer. It will work once. If it crashes or I go out, I have to restart my computer to get it working again.

In addition, all my other apps CS6 work: Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, etc..

Any ideas? All the graphics card drivers are up-to-date. My operating system is up-to-date. Java is up to date. Here is the configuration of my PC:

    OS: 8.1 64-bit Windows

    RAM: 16 GB

    Dedicated video memory: 2 GB

    Processor: Intel i7-4700MQ

    Hard drive: 1 TB

Really, I'm quite puzzled, and I would be very happy to help.

    Thank you

    A frustrated flash user

P.S. This is my first post to the Adobe communities. If I did something wrong, please let me know.

It seems that the problem has something to do with Windows, no Flash. I contacted Adobe, and they suggested that to create a new user account, I did. It turns out that Flash works in this user account. The woman helping me said that, to get help, I must communicate with Windows. Thus, the mystery remains a mystery, but at least I can use flash now.

If anyone has any other suggestions, could you post it please?

It has been like that for a few weeks... Help, please!

It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

Delete the files (extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created if necessary.

    See "extension corrupted files:

If you see disabled extensions, is not compatible, in "tools > Modules > Extensions ' and then click the Tools button, on the left side of the search bar (or click on the"Find updates"button in older versions of Firefox) to check if there is an available update compatibility.

  • Photoshop CS6 hangs at startup

I recently got the new Macbook Pro and my photoshop cs6 was working completely fine. Then a couple of days it has started to become really slow and delay when editing photos. Today I tried to open it and it hangs just at the launch. It always seems to be in a different place from the launch too. This last time, it was during 'Initializing tools' and other times he was for "adding extensions.

Anyone have an idea what could cause this problem? My macbook is running OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 and my photoshop has the last update as well.

  • MBP 12 - hangs at startup and the screen Glitch

    Hello!

My good-condition, end 2012, 15 "MacBook Pro under OS X 10.11.4 is ill. There are two apparently distinct questions:

    • When starting, it does not get passed to Midway as indicated by the gray bar. It crashes and gives the time, periodically warms and turns fans.
    • From the start, the screen has a distinctive glitch superimposed on it that never changes or falters: a series of horizontal blue lines on each fourth-or-so row of pixels.

The problem started by wakes the MacBook to sleep and it gel. Eventually had to hard - reboot, and now here we are.

    I tried:

    • Start in Recovery Mode: (now ⌘R to the boot) hangs on white screen directly after the Apple-logo-and-progress bar screen, not a lot of help.
    • The PRAM reset: (now ⌥⌘PR) unfortunately has no effect.
    • Start in Verbatim mode: (now ⌘V) Always crashes, but it could provide a few tips:

In the image above, you can see the above glitch, the blue lines. (Non-glitchin boot Verbatim is just white on black).

If in any sense, the last printed line is always this:

    en2: promiscuous mode enable succeeded

    More information:

The reason why the boot in Recovery mode does not work maybe because there is no recovery disk partition. When you start while the possibility to select the startup disk, there are only two options: Macintosh HD and BOOTCAMP. Recovery disc or something similar is also meant to appear?

  • Premiere Pro CS6 hangs at startup

Hello! My name is Jon and I have a problem. I'm opening Premiere Pro, but the only thing that starts after that I started the program is the box that usually tells me what plugins, modules, etc. the program load upward, as the program starts slowly. When I do this with my other programs like Photoshop CS6, box shows me precisely what is loading and the program opens without complaint and I can create on my comfortable. However, when I start the first, the box does not load anything, there is no plugins specified etc and the program crashes before anyone still has a chance to start. I did a video on August 9, nine days before asking this question, so what I deduced that a change must have occurred between then and now than to keep the opening program.

I beg assistance from those who manage as soon as possible, because I really want to go back to create the content in the way of quality Adobe has allowed me to do for the past four years. Thank you!

    Jon

I'm not sure what would HAVE fixed the problem but what I ended up doing was to uninstall and reinstall my suite CS6 and everything works fine now. Still not sure what it is or how to fix this problem initially, but oh well.
