Maps of executives organization CS4 AVCHD MTS cones

I just bought a video camera Panasonic AG-HMC40U.  I use a 32 GB from Sandisk extreme SDHC card.  I did a shoot where I shot during two sessions of an hour by turning the camera once and then again between the two sessions.  I have a Dell Intel Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz 12 GB of ram, 64-bit with Windows 7 Home Edition.  I put the card into my computer and saved all of the files to a folder on the computer. The files on the card are divided into sections of 26 minutes which seems strange, as I turned the camera works only once during the session.    Import files into Adobe Prem Pro CS4.  What I notice, at the end of each segment, there is a drop in audio and Visual.  No good saving someone singing!  I can superimpose Visual with pictures of another device, but the sound is not replaceable in shows.  This also happens with my other Canon Vixia... but I thought it was the camera... now I know it's not.  It happens with other SDHC cards as well.

I took my map files to the store where I bought my Panasonic and they had Mac Final Cut Pro.  They imported the files segmented in it and it came as the two (which was the amount they should be) and there is no loss of images.

I'm puzzled as to why this is happening. By everyone so far that I had spoken, I am told it is Adobe Prem Pro CS4 which is not inporting files correctly.  Should I upgrade to CS5.5?  This will fix the issue?  Help.

There is a bug with earlier versions of Premiere Pro.  It attaches with CS5.

So yes, upgrade to CS5.5 and all should be well.

(Also, use the media browser to import your clips and they will properly come as just the two clips).

  • Insane AVCHD (.mts) problems after CC 7.1.0 update

So, technically, I solved this myself, but I write as a question if anyone has a solution to make it a non-issue in the first place.

I often edit for a TV show shot on a Canon XA10, so for about a year I've been editing AVCHD files with little or no problem. I had a mix of "scratch disks" with full AVCHD file structures and just on their own .mts files.

I applied the new CC updates week last (on Windows 7 64 bit), bought a Canon C100 and was happy to play with test sequences when I tried to import it and got the dreaded error "the file has an unsupported compression type.". The images have been imported using the Pixela software included, who joined segmented clips if necessary AVCHD and gives you just the .mts files (no folder structure). I turned to images of one of my projects past and sure, same thing. Looks like I had a classic case of the old bug "back to the essay" on my hands, but I wanted to play a little more before going back to a painful full reinstall, so I tried to load into the SOUL and AE - worked well! Then, I opened the project that used this previous film... and it worked! Sort of...

He already any load of videos very well, if I tried to reimport the same old clip that didn't work in my previous attempt, it worked fine. But then if I tried to import images of C100, it wouldn't work. I closed the project, then re-opened the earlier where I discovered the problems, and once more, none of this would work.

So I tried something crazy. I just renamed a clips... and it worked? So, I renamed each of them and BAM they all work. Ridiculous. Not content with that, I reconnected my camera and imported the images manually, as the entire structure of AVCHD and only .mts files, and now they all work, even without changing the name. The old images that I have? Does not work unless it is renamed. But, I tried importing the C100 through the Pixela software always thinking that it could have been the cause... and it also works!

So in conclusion... I have no idea. But if anyone has any idea of what happens here, be my guest and explain this nightmare. But if you run into the same situation as I, try just to rename your images and to play and see what happens.

I can confirm this problem. I would recommend clearing your cache (Preferences > media)

It worked for me. I also disabled id to write XMP files and that you enable clip and XMP metadata.

Alternatively, you can move the outside the structure of avchd mts files.

    Hope this helps

  • Transcode. AVCHD MTS for use in PP CS3

Question a bit strange but here goes.

    I have a number of. AVCHD MTS files I want to change in PP CS3 on my work computer. The files are mainly 1920 x 1080 50i but is 1440 x 1080 50i, all with Audio A52 (akaAC3) (a52): I didn't check!

CS3 allows me to import in this format, so I need to transcode the files, maintaining a maximum quality. Unfortunately, a cash strapped student so I cannot afford to buy a professional transcoding software. I can, however, install a trial PP CS 5.5 on my computer at home and use that if it works well, then replace the files video to work (my work computer only runs win XP. Vista or 7 are system requirements and prevent installation of CS 5.5).

Essentially, what is the best free way to transcode these files and what format they should go to? Test on my computer desk or other freeware CS5.5? I have been searching around the forum and the web although but can not find a lot of useful answers which contradict each other.

    See you soon

    Nick

Most converters will do a horrible job and convert in a still difficult to change format.

Don't size your money on AVCHD MECHANISM (as shown in the connection of John).

Best thing and I just not free is Cineform.

It will give you Visual lossless images, easy to edit.

    Download the trial version.

If it's one thing when only to convert all your videos in the trial period.

After that, you need only the neoplayer of Cineform (download) to edit in first. You cannot export of Cineform, but this isn't a problem.

    There are many other formats.

Do not install the ac3 codec first (just the file .dll at first to adapt won't) otherwise you will not be able to convert files with Cineform.

  • UT Video Codec AVCHD .mts transcoding parameters

    Howdy,

Trying for some time to track down a problem reading of nervousness (as if executives are randomly obtained or sauteed) when you change .mts files.

Unstable the MCCP and also after export to everything... and especially if you use Youtube and Vimeo export presets.

VLC media player plays files from source .mts smoothly immediately map SD or HDD/SSD... most of the time, sometimes there is a hiccup, but nothing like in PP.

Clips that make it are pretty much all of the clamps and shot is 24 frames per second, or 60 fps 1080 p panoramic.

I've seen this now on 2 different systems with different collections of videos .mts of 2 different cameras.

Mine is a PC (running WIN7 i7 3770 K 3.5 Ghz, 16 GB, GTX 660), and the other is a more powerful Mac with 32 GB of RAM (used to smoothly dealing with RED images).

I came across a suggestion to Adobe to convert a UTVideo codec ( http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/kb/audio-video-glitches-avchd.html#id_49687 ) to deal with AVCHD... but it does not really give much information useful beyond the link where it could be downloaded.

I have tried the suggestion, downloaded the codec suite, made a pre-selection in Media Encoder and converted, but he plays even more bad than does the AVCHD natively (VLC does not recognize this codec for testing)

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best settings for transcoding video UT and/or hardware/software settings for PP smoother playback of clips .mts? I see in the forums here and elsewhere that many people have different problems, work with images of .mts in PP... I hope that there is a functional solution beyond what I tried without success:

    • read 1/4 or 1/2
    • make the sequence/timeline
    • transcoding of .mp4/DNxHD
    • clearing make files
    • optimize the ram for the use of PP
    • close all other applications
    • import the entire folder "deprived" of the SD card (that I can't get pp to recognize in any case, that it will import the individual .mts files I can say)
    • power options changed
    • Turbo boost for the i7 or disable
    • and a few other trial - errors and gleaned in the forums that I don't remember now

Suggestions for what to try next or the appropriate parameters for the video codec UT would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thank you/Bravo!

I took a glance both the clip and the link.  The music video plays well in PotPlayer, but stutter a little in PP.

The link also stuttered a bit, however, when I downloaded the video YT to my computer and who played with PotPlayer, it was fine.  Without stuttering, without skipping, even video, perfect playback.

Then I exported clip 6 pp and looking in PotPlayer.  He played very well despite the original stuttering a bit in the sequence.

Finally, I took all three clips to my TV and he looked at them, and all three played without problem.

It seems that there is nothing really wrong with the media, how it is being played.  I don't know why PP and YouTube new play bad, but they do.  This is another reason why you cannot use the monitors built-in quality control.  You MUST get the video in TV correctly calibrated, even when the do delivery for the web.  This is the only way to look at a specific.

So the question now is, how you get YT to play the video properly?  He is the player that they use, it is dependent on the browser?  You need to ask YT these questions.

  • Keep the folder structure for AVCHD (.mts) video

    Hi all

Can someone confirm if or not the PP CS4 and AE CS4 requires the AVCHD folder structure to be left in tact?

    I just found this http://blogs.Adobe.com/davtechtable/2008/09/intro_to_cs4_and_new_avchd_edi.html

    Who says...

... Make sure you leave the structure of folders. Drag it to the new folder as an exact copy. This will ensure that you will have everything you need. Importer for PremierePro (also used by AfterEffects & still) uses folders and files to help identify the parameters and types of files without tape.

... so clearly, it is better to do, but it is actually necessary?

I have not bought the CS 4 software yet, but I intend to, however, this can be a problem, as I have more than 6 months with a value of sequences, most without the folder structure. It was too embarrassing trying to maintain and also the files in an organized way. I tried various video editing software demonstrations, and all those I tried (including the Premiere Elements) worked fine with just the files .mts, without the extra stuff.

I also used AE and PP trial versions, but these do not seem to support .mts at all. After reading the various threads on the topic but, I concluded that it was just a missing feature in trial versions.

    Thank you very much

    Eugene

  • Jumpy rendered in After Effects CS4 AVCHD

    Hey everybody,

I work with ACVHD images that can easily be changed in ae and cs4 on my computer first. But since

made my gear (I tried, mov, avi, flv and whatnot) it works perfectly, but is now and again

Jumpy when played. Its like some images are sometimes repeated.

What is the trick to get a good result, which is the best output format? Can someone please help?

    Thank you in advance!

    Best,

    Alex

Alexauwa: update to after effects 9.02 (via the Adobe Updater application) is highly recommended because it covers a ton of questions and improves the performance and overall stability. It is unlikely that that it will solve the problem of mixed frames AVCHD with some Panasonic AVCHD cameras, unfortunately. As I said before, for the moment, and until a fix for this specific problem is available, the workaround is AVCHD material conversion to another format.

Assuming you're on Windows, here is a free application , that I found on a quick Google search that allows to convert mts files (IE, native AVCHD) into AVI or a number of different formats.

Once more, sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Can ANY product Adobe CC ingest or import AVCHD (.mts) files with the metadata accompanying .xmp sidecar files?

I had no luck with the sidecar xmp files relative in any product, including the prelude, Premiere Pro, Lightroom or bridge.

    Hi Mike,.

Okay, I found the outline of the bug. I was initially on the assumption that the question was how the XMP was written by Daminion. This is not the case. Their XMP seems fine. The bug is with the way we are going to analyze these JVC AVCHD files. It will take some research more sort everything, but at least now I'm on the right track. I tested the creation of metadata for a variety of other files AVCHD from Canon and Sony. All these files caused first create the XMP files with the name xxx.xmp. But, when I added the metadata in the JVC, the xmp always emerged as xxx.mts.xmp file. Then... I did some more tests with the file. If the extension of the file to rename. MPG, suddenly all the XMP you added the file in Daminion appeared. All the new metadata that I created has also been added to this file.

It seems that there is a specific bug in our file for this JVC AVCHD flavor Analyzer. I'll get this connected and see if I can get it fixed. In the meantime, you can rename the file extension. MPG, if you want to read your existing metadata. Or... you can add to the file xxx.mts.xmp.

Insect. Thanks for the help to identify him.

  • Wrong settings when create a sequence from an AVCHD (.mts) of canon xa20 file. First Adobe defines as AVC - intra 100 1080i

I don't know why Adobe first CC automatically adjust a .mts of my canon XA20 file (from the h264 AVCHD 1920 x 1080 25 p) as a 1080i AVC-intra 100. When editing, it appears crisp and loud. IM edition in a windows 7 64-bit platform. I have to install a properly codec on my machine?

  • How to integrate properly into the AVCHD (.mts) cs5 files

My camera is SONY NX5. I closed a video in the AVCHD Format. Which is the best way to get this files in first cs5?

I mean new sequence, which is the best available predefined parameter in the dialog box. What should I select?

    Nick.

If you have copied all the map folder structure, you can use the media browser to navigate through the folder structure and it will automatically switch mode display of AVCHD. You can simply select some or all of the clips you want and drag them in the project Panel or directly in a sequence.

  • The first CS4 AVCHD and Color Finesse 2 PL

    Hi all

    Windows 7 32 bit

    Premiere Pro Cs4

Has recently created a project using AVCHD with Premiere Cs4 video

I used Color finesse 2 PL plug to do some color correction

When I use the Color Finesse 2 PL with AVCHD video card, it works fine, but when I try to export my project, it obviously sends it to Media Encoder

then I select the preset HD, after finishing I can play the video, but without Color Finesse 2 PL effect fine

Does it mean that Color Finesse 2 PL do not have HD images?

    Thank you!

Make sure you have the most recent, 2.1.12, Color Finesse installed version. Some earlier versions had problems with running Media Encoder, specifically the plug-in is not applied.

First and SOUL are supposed to isolate plug-ins like Color Finesse of details of the used codecs, for as far as I know AVCHD is not a problem.

  • Mapping image in PS CS4?

    Hey guys,.

Well, I'm learning new things, and I'm converting more parts of the design of my website with Photoshop CS4. Finally, I would like to be able to design a complete model and use it as my page web etc, but now I am only a navigation bar. Previously, I used ImageReady to make my interactive images (only 1 page right now, so I have pointing to 5 different navigation bar parts of my page using the href = "" # < name "link"). However, after a lot of research in Google, I still have to find a guide on how to make the image maps with CS4... I created the complete navigation bar, as well as diapers for onMouseOver for each link. Because the way I have no ImageReady with CS4, I am at a loss. I tried to create a navigation bar with DreamWeaver CS4, but she just wanted to make buttons and my an attempt to test the navigation bar of DW with my flight path images was a huge failure.

So could someone, anyone, please Please explain how to make image maps of my navbar.psd file? Thank you!! (A few other tuts supposed to save under > HTML which is a flop, because I don't have HTML as an option...)

Photoshop can't do image maps, it was territory ImageReady and which is no longer supported. You may ask, in the land of Dreamweaver , how do.

  • Windows Media Player 12 Windows 7 don't play AVCHD (.mts) video in embedded mode, but in normal view fact

I encountered a problem with WMP 12 on Windows 7 involved in reading the files in AVCHD format.  When running in 'normal' from Windows Explorer mode, WMP opens the video file and the rear plays beautifully.  However, I'm building an application with embedded WMP.  When you run WMP within the application (c#), AVCHD even plays audio but no video.

I've seen this type of problem before with regard to audio playback of mp4 files in WMP to integrated mode: the forbidden MP4 audio playback license when it is run in embedded mode but played the audio fine at the launch of the Explorer of WMP.  I was able to solve this problem by using a 3rd party codec pack.

In this case, I tried a number of K-Lite packs, etc., but to no avail.  My problem persists.  I think maybe I have an issue of licensing of the same with a SONY CODEC type and the State in which WMP is playing files, but I was still able to track him down.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Jon,

    Apology for a late reply.

As you use Windows Media Player in an embedded application, I would ask you even post in the MSDN forum. Here is the link to post this query:
