Margins/padding, I set myself on div tag are not displayed in the preview. -Help?

Hi people! I'm trying to put some padding or margins around my div. #square1 However, padding or margins (I tried both) the high margin/padding of the page does not appear in the preview. I can't understand it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I enclose what I see in the preview:

    DW is not an application, drag & drop like Muse or Photoshop.  With DW, you need a good knowledge of HTML & CSS code. JavaScript is also very useful to know.

    APdivs are rarely if ever required. 98% of all the layouts are created with the default CSS positioning (no or static).  When you introduce APDivs, you remove content in normal document flow which, if used properly, can have disastrous consequences and even destroy the usability of your site.

    My advice is to stay away from APDivs.  Learn how to align items with CSS floats, margins, and padding.

  • My alt text applied by object Export Options in InDesign CC tags are not displayed in PDF format

    I am marking my images and adding tags to text in InDesign CC by object Export Options and even add Alt in the structure for my images, but when I bring it in PDF, the image is not labeled in the order of reading and text tags are not displayed. How can I fix that, apart from making the work directly to PDF?

    I solved the problem - discovered that InDesign CC do not mix images of previous versions of InDesign, so took everything in the document and placed into a new document, exported to PDF and all that the tag perfectly!

  • Some tags are not recognized at all (mp3/ogg, always full albums)

    Hello!

    I encountered a strange problem. My rocket recognizes not all my files tags. — about 1/3 of my songs appear as 'unknown' as 'unknown '. My question is, someone bumped into what whether similar? I tried searching this forum but can't find anything similar.

    It's a little weird, like:

    • They are always full albums that are not recognized (i.e. newer than a part of an album).
    • I have not found a common application for the albums, tags are not recognized;
    • Some of them are MP3 (id3v2.4 I presume), some are OGG,.
    • some (most) is torn apart by myself CD, some are not.
    • I have them checked (of course) on the computer and all my software recognizes the tags.

    For example, 4 8 Weather Report albums are "unknown" - and one of them is OGG, MP3 3 and 4 which ARE recognized, 3 are OGG and 1 is MP3. I have my albums organized in the manner of MUSIC/artist/Album folders / *. [mp3/ogg] on the "rocket".

    All have been (re) marked with easytag, in fact, that I have recently relabelled/checked the tags of my entire collection with easytag (to ensure that it is usable on the "rocket"). There must be something wrong with my tags. I tried to format the device (in the menu), reset the database by deleting the device, but it does not... help on the updating of the database that is the same files that do not have recognized, however.

    Any suggestions or ideas?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi again!

    And, thanks to the advice of sansafix, this problem is now solved!

    It seems that id3v2.4 was the culprit - my files under 2.3 relabeling them does the job. In addition, my OGG files were (and still are) the ID3 tag, unlike what I thought. But now they are 2.3 work also.

    Don't know why some of the tags did work, however, even though they were all 2.4 - but their relabelling as 2.3 made it all work in any case. Also, in easytag, I can't seem to be able to prevent OGG files of the ID3 tag, I can only it stop him marking with ID3 alltogether (which is not nice, because I have MP3 and OGG). There is an option to avoid tagging FLAC with ID, however. Maybe I should post a feature request for the guys of easytag, this should be easy to implement...

    I have my tags to format UTF-16 also and did not encounter any problems (yet - my rocket is still so new I don't have time to see all the songs with characters & foreign languages).

    But, in any case, thanks again! Very useful forum, it is indeed.

  • Tag section not included in the catalogue.

    fm11 in win7.

    In the document, that I'm working on some lines seem to be in a paragraph tag named 'RegName '. But this 'RegName' is not found in the catalog, that is, if I click on the arrow to select the paragraph tag, 'Regname' is not included.

    Thanks for your help.

    Stéphane.

    > But I wonder how this paragraph tag could be referenced in the document while it was not in the catalogue?

    Paragraphs with new tags are not automatically added to the catalog. This is an option when you create a. When pasting in text from another document of FM, the new tags are not automatically cataloged. For a tag one already in the catalog, do a Format on it delete doesn't remove it the cat. Containing text is still present and still labeled with deleted format.

    It is in fact an order (sequence of dialogue) which causes all formats in use, to added to the cat (and the details of which I do not remember at the moment). Instances of existing catalogue with overrides formats get the entrances to chat with new names. Results of the massive pollution catalog, but it is fine if the intention is to clean the substitutions and weed out thieves (or adopt).

    When I do a "save book as PDF' then watch list"Include paragraphs"for one of my books, the GroupTitlesIX tag does not appear in the list. If I open just the index, the GroupTitlesIX tag appears in the list and the index letters appear as bookmarks in the PDF of the index.

    In the book, if I update the index file highlighted, select Format > Document > PDF Setup, the GroupTitlesIX tag appears in the list. But if I highlight all the files in the book, or even a single file in addition to the index, the tag does not appear.

    I generate the index using add it > command Index Standard. I just tried creating a new book from scratch, using models of default FM; generated an index for the book and see the same problem.

    B250,

    FrameMaker is not the analysis of all the documents in a book when they offer paragraph formats to insert into a table of contents or PDF bookmarks. I seem to remember that having the format in the first file of the book is a good idea. Then make a book update before trying again.

Then inside I want to place a #leftColumn and a #rightColumn. What I have achieved. I have a problem with is to have the content div expand with the divs two columns it contains. I've included the main.css file I use below as well as the source code for the "content" of the page section. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You should be able to get #content to expand changing overflow: auto; to overflow: hidden; in the style of #content {...}.

    That may seem paradoxical, but overflow: auto; you will get scroll bars, not expansion. He might not even have you that, if you do not have a specified height. Overflow: hidden; should be #content stretch to lock up the sidebar divs.

  • Some div tags are interrupted for a RH7 RH8 upgrade

    Hey everybody,

    I have a problem when you try to upgrade to RH8 RH7. I have throughout the project, images that are hidden, unless the user clicks on an icon. When the user clicks on the icon of the image is displayed in the article. This is done using Javascript and CSS. Unfortunately, when I try to upgrade the project to RH8 the div tags that contains the reference to the image disappear. I can't understand why they disappear or what I need to do to keep the tags in the project.

    I will include some of the code, including a bit of code that surround the affected code.

    Oh dear. This confirms my fear that somehow you have output in your source files files, maybe you have published in this folder.

    In a version of HR, you could fix that, but with a little work.

    http://www.RoboWizard.com/RoboWizard/NewProject.htm#MonthlyScry/062004.htm

    However, what you're trying to do is upgrade an output file and the process is not designed to do this.  You must decide on the less work. Uninstalling RH8 and install RH7, solve the problem and then upgrade or just go to redo these drop-down menus of RH8.

  • CSS in border div format do not appear on the page (s)

    Hi all

    I have a site that I am developing using the skeleton grid 960. I've defined the borders for ID #r_col_entrypage and applied to the div using < div class = "five columns" id = "r_col_entrypage" >. The css for borders is included in the layout.css and displayed in Design view in Dreamweaver. However, does not appear in one of the browsers that I tested on--IE, Firefox or Chrome. At one point, I had this working but then changed the layout of the page (reducing some div widths). I tried to change the size of the two div which are next to each other - that did not work, I tried increasing or decreasing the padding in the css below thinking that maybe my border has been ridden and that does not work either. I'm about to ideas as to why it does not appear and I was wondering if someone could take a look and see what might happen. I know I have a lot of style sheets with this and that may very well be the cause of this. You can find one of the pages that I have a problem with to http://bpiads.org/newsite/donate.html. Thank you very much and I would like to know if there is additional information you need.

    {#r_col_entrypage}

    padding-left: 20px;

    border-left: 5px solid #46673 b;

    border-bottom: none;

    border-top: none;

    border-right: none;

    do-size: 110%;

    make-weight: bold;

    }

    Thank you... I had looked at the code so many times I was not 'see '. This did fix the problem of the border.

    Now, however, my container that contains the navigation has tons of blank space above it that I am trying to understand... any thoughts on what could be the cause of that? I tried to change the "height" of 40px to 'auto' and that doesn't seem to make a difference.

    Maureen

    This is because you have set min-height: 200px; on the "banner".

    above your navigation
    . The height of the image in the 'banner '.
    is only 35px so NORMALLY you would set the height at 35px, BUT you can't do that because you used the "banner" id for the
    than, where the height of the image IS 200px. Use only an 'id' once on the page. Just delete the min-height and everything should be ok.

    #banner {}

    / * background-image: url (.. /images/BPI-Banner-New.jpg);

    background-repeat: no-repeat;

    relative position;

    height: 200px;

    Width: 940px; * /

    min-height: 200px;

    min-width: 940px;

    }

  • Strugling with div - why a div background is not displayed?

    Heya all,

    I've been strugling all alone for a few days now, with tableless design... After years using tables of my beloved, I came across the need to begin to design with div...

    There exauhsting, I only slept 2 hours the night, trying to realize a project that just seems to be "haunted"... I miss my tables

    I can't try to find a rule for my layers, one I can get used to and start doing in "auto" mode... Googling for help was disappointing, because here I think the float is good,-I find it preferable to absolute positioning... I don't know what it takes to stick to. I wish that it is a tutorial somewhere with a good design (and not a blade / starting), to draw lessons.

    I'm sorry for all the whining, it's just me tired as hell * lol *.

    In any case, I have this code in my CSS:

    #wrapper #main {}
    Width: 1000px;
    background-image: url('imagens/bg-main-degrade.jpg') non-repetition lower left;
    }
    #wrapper #main #content {}
    float: left;
    padding: 0px 0px 0px 30px;
    Width: 606px;
    }
    #wrapper #main #rightcontent {}
    margin-left: 660px;
    Width: 327px;
    }
    #wrapper #footer {}
    float: left;
    Width: 1000px;
    height: 24 PX.
    background-color: #FF9900;
    Clear: both;
    }

    .. .but does not display the background image of the #main #wrapper (others along the code work correctly).

    the problem is in the float I use?

    I don't have some of the decision if the float is good or bad... can someone point me to a good tutorial? (who has a design somewhat complex because I really want to learn, and at this point, I'm just confused... those with a simple design, close to important things like several nested layers, background images, menus with images, formatting of text etc.)

    Thank you for any assistance you can provide...

    Ana

    Looking at your CSS again, I can see the error:

    #wrapper #main {}

    Width: 1000px;

    background-image: url('imagens/bg-main-degrade.jpg') non-repetition lower left;

    }

    #wrapper #main #content {}

    float: left;

    padding: 0px 0px 0px 30px;

    Width: 606px;

    }

    #wrapper #main #gap {}

    float: left;

    margin-left: 636px;

    Width: 24 PX;

    background-image: url('imagens/bg-main-gap.jpg') top repeat-y left;

    }

    You use the syntax for the style of shorthand of "substance", but you use the style 'background-image '!  Change of those (and all the others where you used the abbreviated syntax) to 'background' and you should be good to go.
