Markup of SVG syntax highlight
I tried to use Code more like a simple text editor, to replace my Text Wrangler base app, and it works fine.
But since we are in the era of multiple resolution, I began using the svg more and more which is a basic markup language, and I like it if it was recognized as an xml file, with colors when things are between
I have no idea how to do anything inside rafters to color and maybe an extension easy to build (maybe even just a duplicate of something existing, with svg instead of xml), but that would help a lot.
(And I have no AutoComplete or whatever it is, just basic syntactic, the colors, the happier)
Thank you for reporting this issue. It can be easily fixed by adding case 'svg': in editor/EditorUtils.js just before the line case "xml":

Problem of numbered list in InDesign using paragraph Styles Code syntax highlighter
Styles using GREP in the options of styles paragraph that I managed to make it useful, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, styles of syntax highlighter.
Code can be copied and pasted, or can be typed and styles work well. .
My only problem is with the numbering.
I've implemented a character list ordered for my type of chip.
Although the size of characters must be greater than the size of the code in order to get the character bar to connect and be a solid line.
Is there a way to have the same size font for the numbering and the code and a bar of character which will connect? Do not be destroyed, because the separator between the numbered lines and the code?
Also it doesn't seem to be a way to change the color or the weight of the bar (it must be the same color as the number) with a bar automatically generate? Is it possible?
Here is an example of my InDesign CC 2015.4 German I did with a numbered list numbering and bar with a shading of paragraph:
Note that the width of the 'bar' would change, if you change the width of the text block.
5 mm added to the width of the text block:
Or would disappear.
The original text frame width less 5 mm:

Dreamweaver CC: Problems of syntax highlighting
Is anyone know how to add (or activate) syntax highlighting for the types of files in other/other Dreamweaver cc? I have no problem in previous versions of Dreamweaver.
The only element of FAQ/Support Adobe I can find is this:
http://helpx.Adobe.com/Dreamweaver/KB/change-add-recognized-file-EXTEN sions.html
.. but it's really obsolete.
For example, I want to treat .tpl (or any other defined) .php (or any other language) file types. To activate this serves me just add the extension to the configuration of the File Extensions.txt file and the configuration file MMDocumentTypes.xml and it would treat the .tpl .php as, but in the new Dreamweaver CC, these configuration files appear to have no effect?
I searched my system help to find other hidden areas or double that could be crucial, but can't find (only from previous versions).
CC Dreamweaver configuration files in different directories under different names? Any help much appreciated.
UPDATE: Solution for location of the CC Dreamweaver configuration files on Apple OS Mavericks
Connect with their shells and go to:
cd /Users/Your_Admin_Username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CC/en_US/Configuration
Replace Your_Admin_Username with your admin username
All files are located here. Extensions.txt and MMDocumentTypes.xml/Types Document
Go and change with
vi Extensions.txt
or whatever you prefer.

DW cs5 incorrectly syntax highlights in the text, attributes
< h1 class = "maintitlebar" > Jesus ' Jim n < br / >
< span class = "mainsubtext" > a PC and a little Mac oriented website with software and repair information and how - to on computers using </span >
< / h1 >"the word Jesus is black, but all of ' n on is blue until you get to another" in the topic - and thence to the end tag, everything else is black again. I don't know whether to call this a lexing or bug analysis.
Another thing I noticed is that dreamweaver cs5 is flaky with its syntax highlighting, especially when it comes to single quotes in attributes.
< style table ='border-style: none; border-width: thin; border-color: transparent;' border = '0' > < tr > < td valign = "top" class = "mainmenu" >
is an example. the single qoutes seem to throw dreamweaver syntax highlighter in the equivalent of "soup of tags.
Please correct. Thank you
Well, engineers Adobe drop from time to time. I guess I would suggest that contact you them directly instead of being coy on this subject.
Submit a bug report: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
Sorry to hear about your difficulties, however. Nice that she follows the phases of the Moon for you.
I did not use HTML5 yet, so my suggestion works in my code... Sorry it does not work in your. I certainly didn't mean to insult your code!

Syntax highlighting for ASP pages
I use ASP pages without HTML code for a variety of things: configuration files, files, etc. of the class. I just purchased Dreamweaver CS3 and installed on the server, Windows 2003 SBS (my machine to test/development).
I received a message warning me that my OS is not support, but it did not prevent the installation and my OS is perfectly up to date.
This bug is small, but annoying.
The syntax coloring when EPA is incorporated w / in a page HTML is fine, but I like to separate business logic from the html code as much as possible.
When I use a comment from asp script ASP tags inside, it seems to comment on all of the code after the single quote. Keywords of the ASP: DIM, CONST, GAME etc, do not highlight.
If I copy the ASP code to a page that contains a built-in ASP script properly colored, paste it into a new file, just w / pure ASP, not HTML, it seems OK until I save it. When I close and reopen the file, the coloring is a party.
raz230,
Be sure to set the default value model of server for your Site or "ASP VBScript".

Why do my files with the .php extension have no syntax highlighting?
Syntax coloring works great for .html, .css, .js, etc.. By .php files have nothing. Help please?
Apparently the problem was me, but not sure how it happened. For this .php file my mode switched over to the design. I does not recognize this, however, because there are line numbers, which I do not know whence they came. I have copied from a file and pasted into another, although I still don't know how the line numbers got there. Once I have switched back to code view, my syntax coloring was there. Who knows, maybe it will help someone with the same irregular deadlines? Thanks for the replies!

How to change the syntax highlights in Dw CS6
Hey guys,.
I was looking through the forum and Mr Google, but couldn't find anything. So instead of wasting time, I might find someone here who has already done it.
As in the title of the topic, I want to clarify some phrases of syntax or logic structure with different colors. At the moment all the html in Dw looks great, and there is little visual difference between the tags, properties, values, and content.
Can someone tell me please in the right direction?
Thanks in advance!

Recognition of incompatible documents for syntax highlighting
Here's something strange.
When I run CFBuilder and you open a cfm or cfc to a project, the text file is NOT colored. A single file or several - nothing. No code folding, incidentally. However, if I let a few files open Eclipse, quitting smoking, and run it again, the FRONTMOST file is correctly highlighted, code-folded, etc. But the other files are still not recognized. Another data point: new files created through New-> ColdFusion Page are also NOT recognized.
It's on Mac OS X 10.6, in a new installation of Eclipse 3.5, with a new installation of CFBuilder version, in a new area of work, with no other plugins except subclipse (also freshly installed).
Anyone have any ideas?
-Ken
Well, I found some notes on installing CFB plugin on a mac.
Basically... Use the 'Carbon' eclipse (version 3.5) and all my misfortunes seem to have disappeared.

Why is there not a highlight of the syntax for ColdFusion?
It is a community of support Adobe ColdFusion. Why is there not highlight the syntax for ColdFusion even? There are other but NOT of ColdFusion? Is just not that popular language ColdFusion more able to provide a code syntax highlighter? Or am I missing something here?
Yes, this forum is built on the commercial platform of Jive, which isn't really a product Adobe. If no direct ColdFusion syntax is supported.

Y at - it a syntax better/more runs to get data to and from stored procedures?
To test the stored procedure call, I created a simple package
create or replace package TEST_PROCEDURES as procedure Test1 ( arg1 in number, arg2 in number, res1 out number, res2 out number); end;
and a page with fields number four (P1_INPUT_2, P1_OUTPUT_1, P1_INPUT_1, P1_OUTPUT_2) and a button excuting the code following PL/SQL:
declare arg1 integer; arg2 integer; res1 integer; res2 integer; begin arg1 := :P1_INPUT_1; arg2 := :P1_INPUT_2; TEST_PROCEDURES.Test1(arg1, arg2, res1, res2); APEX_UTIL.SET_SESSION_STATE('P1_OUTPUT_1', res1); APEX_UTIL.SET_SESSION_STATE('P1_OUTPUT_2', res2); end;
It works, but it looks like a lot of unnecessary code to me. Any suggestions?

Why would you do that? APEX may be referenced in the same way as all the other bind variables (although it is worth noting that their type is always VARCHAR2, so in this case, it will rely on the implicit conversion):
begin test_procedures.test1(:p1_input_1, :p1_input_2, :p1_output_1, :p1_output_2); end;
For the previous discussion on this topic, see set manually with PL/SQL session state .

syntax higlighting (php in html docs)
Hello.
Instead of .php I use .html to analyze my php files. But DW illustrates the syntax highlighting for html, even between <? PHP? >. It is quite uncomfortable when writing php. Is there a way I can make the syntax correctly? Perhabs there is an extension (I can't find something).
Hope for more help.
Thank you.Hi David.
Thanks for the link. That's what I wanted :-)
The main thing I've done is open MMDocumentTypes.xml add html to victory-/ macfileextnesion (line 75) and delete the html of the third line because there was an error that double declarations are not allowed. Now, I can view html files with php code inside and good highlighted.

Syntax coloring for PHP in HTML files
I would like to than consistent syntax throughout my documents, which may be some CSS, HTML or PHP. However, when I write the PHP code in something else that a PHP document, it comes out in a format single or double-color, making it much less 'pretty' and not nearly as easy to read. The HTML contains color CFM and ASP options, but not PHP (and I don't want to format the color twice in preferences anyway). I tried to group files .html with color PHP/MySQL grouping under DocumentTypes (Dreamweaver 8/Configuration/DocumentTypes), that works, but results in a crash whenever I look at anything, but a document.
No matter who encounter this behavior, or better yet, a solution so that syntax highlighting of Dreamwever constant inside itself?
BWT, it comes to Dreamweaver 8.0.2, Mac OS X 10.4.7. And the rest of the Studio is installed as well. While Randy solution wasn't what I was looking for because I found something similar that works for me.
See http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_16410
When I * moved * .html .htm AND doctype HTML (first statement) section, DW would break. So, since I don't use a .htm, I just moved .html and renamed the doctype first from "html" to "htm". Works with no crash.Just wish it was... global CSS should look like CSS, PHP, PHP, etc. Well, works fine now.
