Marshmallow to the s90

Hello. I read recently about the new Marshmallow 6 Android available this month. I also read the list of phones that would get this update. I just want to confirm if it is true. The s90 lenovo will get the marshmallow android update? If so, while we will be able to get this? And I'm from the Philippines. Which affects how fast the update may be available? Thank you for your answers I just wanted to confirm from different sites claims that your phone is compatible with the Android L, there is a good chance that it will get the update.

According to the updated Lenovo matrix, there is no plan to deliver Android M to S90!

Very disappointing!

  • Lenovo S90 - A, I can't find security

    Dear,

After that I bought the S90 - A Lenovo, I found an application as a basis of security on the system application and after an upgrade of system I lost him I can't find any, and it was a nice application and gret

How can I get it back?

    please me tips

Thank you for having accepted the forum and share your experiences and tips with other users of the S90. Unfortunately, from the Android Lollipop the security App updated Lenovo has been abandoned. There is no application security more on lollipop, due to a number of reasons (like Android has a different functionality or users complaining that they wan't a different antivirus). Several app security features was moved to all kinds of menus all around the phone, so it will be quite difficult to find, but some of them are always available somewhere.

  • Support the voLTE for Z3

Is there a chance that the new update of Marshmallow to the Z3 will finally add VoLTE universal support for all variants of the Z3 LTE? I'm frankly if annoyed that many of my colleagues have phones that support VoLTE and enjoy the entire phone a call without switching to 3 G mode. Note that my carrier has VoLTE support as well.

D6653 international variant is capable of volte. I use it. Hardware wise, almost all new phones are capable of volte. It's just if the firmware is set to activate.

  • Xperia companion not to recognize the Z3

    Hi all:

My Z3C is being repaired and I got a Z3 as a temporary phone. I can't get Xperia companion to recognize the Z3. My computer recognizes the device when I connect it, but Xperia Companion is dangerously silent... I rebooted the phone and the computer and changed USB cable... nada

The Z3 is Android 5.02 Build 23.1.C.0.39... it was originally T-Mobile brand.

Should I have the old PC Companion? An incantation by Warlocks? I just want a full repair/upgrade the device software up-to-date

    Any help is appreciated more

I think I have sussed the issue. Found a PC that connects. Now I face the question that T-Mobile is not out of Marshmallow to the D6616. So far the carrier accuses Sony and the thread here points to T-mobile. Such is life. The Z3 is a backup for the Z3C I sent repair under warranty.

  • Notification of update of the system

How can I get rid of the update of the system of Xperia to Marshmallow in the notification bar without the updat? I use the last version of lolipop and not interested in the update for the moment and do not want to be constantly reminded.

You cannot by default, you can erase data for the software update application, it will remove the notification, you must restart your device.

  • A7000 Performance of Marshmallow with SD card internal

I plan to update my Lenovo A7000 Lollipop in Marshmallow. I know that my SD card would be a format if I chose to put my SD card in internal memory. I worry about performance because I know that the speed of read/write of internal origin is faster than the SD card read/write speed.

I use Sandisk Ultra 32 GB Class 10 UHS-1. This is recommended. But I want to make sure if its OK to update to the marshmallow. Thank you

You can update Marshmallow because the read/write speed won't matter that much stability of the device is passed to a large extend after updates to Marshmallow

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Upgrede my Marshmallow Priv

Hi, I bought an unlocked AT & t I live in Italy. I want to update my Priv of Marshmallow, but I can't find out if autoloader single installation update or format the phone and install the full operating system. What data I'm losing with the update (files, music, notes...)?

    Heya @anset1963

Unless you use an active ATT sim, the only way to upgrade this device to the marshmallow is to reload the operating system.

This will clear the device completely, accordingly, backup anything important first so that you can restore it later.

  • K4 Note missing widget

When I bought my phone vibe K4 noticed the home screen has a weather widget that displays the time in digital form, but had a round Dial as an analogue around it. But it disappeared nd wen I tried to retrieve the widget, I can not find it, but only a 4 * 2. how weather digital display to get the old widget, return?

    Hello, Alexander.

    Welcome to Lenovo Forums!

I can understand your concern. The widget you are talking about is "weather Lenovo 4 * 2. And it changes its form with regard to the themes. The weather widget of round shape came with "Move Hot" available in the center of theme theme.
But let me inform you, if you have updated your device to Marshmallow, then the widget does not appear round shaped. This design has been changed with the improvement of the OS.

I hope that this information will help you.

    Kind regards

  • A6000 - upgrade to 2.0 vibe? Please help me!

    Hello world
Recently, I have Lenovo A6000 branch with vibe ui but when I've been see in YouTube I found a 2.0 atmosphere was great... I want to spend my ui vibe to vibe 2.0... So please can someone help me to update it ligaly #without rooting #... thx

    Comment to Moderator: Topic said.

Perhaps on A6000 you have the full menu as I have in the S90, but basically the only option is to check the version of the interface user of Vibe. Indeed, if you are already running on the Android, your UI Vibe version is 2.5 or higher. The Vibe UI 2.0 was KitKat Android last year, and the bubbles were only for Lenovo Vibe X 2 (maybe a few other top models like Lenovo Vibe Z2). Models that are not called Vibe like Lenovo S90 (my phone) or Lenovo A6000 never had bubbles. However, they had Vibe 2.0 to KitKat and now Vibe 2.5 in lollipop. Many users say, myself included, that Vibe UI 2.0 was better than 2.5 IU Vibe, but they will not change back, then we must go.

  • G1X mark II defining function rings

I just upgraded to a s90 to a G1x Mark II. In manual mode, the lens ring is what distinguishes the APERATURE, ISO speed, shutter etc.. Is there a way to define the "circle of service" at the back of the camera to take some of these functions?

On the s90, the "circle of service" makes these tasks as the lens ring to zoom.

    Thank you.

Hi AlanBrownArt. The knob at the back of the camera can be set for a variety of functions. To access this feature, turn on your camera in shooting mode, then press the MENU key. Now, scroll down to the assignment function and press the FUNC SET button. This feature is more completely described, starting at page 105 of your User Guide PowerShot G1 X Mark II camera.

Thanks for the quick response I wasn't expecting it.

I'll be revisiting this post every now and then.

    Hello

Okay, so you're saying this isn't an approx... OK, lets consider from the beginning... go to settings > battery. Under the graph of the battery, you will have a list of the app with features that use the battery. Top of the list is the application that uses the most power.

Another thing... back to settings > use of data, and then select the WiFi tab on top. Again, you will see a chart and underneath a list of applications that uses wifi in sending or receiving data.

Can you see anything out of the ordinary?
