Massive reallocation of records

An employee is no longer in the CRM tool, I would a massive reallocation of all records associated with a specific user. Any ideas to do? Everything I can think of an export, search and replacement of the name of owners with the new name of employee.

Any suggestions?

Hello

Nisman has some excellent suggestions, comment on rename the user is all work done by the old person historically reflect now under the new user and impact reports. You will also have all their previous appointment and tasks and personal configurations.

If you have more than 50 records, you can also create a list of old files people assets and update the owner and then do an import to crush to update, this will give you the historical documents attached to the old dn character active files attached to the new person.

see you soon

  • A massive reallocation of drive letters is possible in the catalog?

    I installed a new external hard drive and it receives the letter K.  The old drive was the letter F.  The items on the F drive in my catalog are now 'lost '.  Is it possible to reallocate all items in my catalog encoded on the drive F to the K drive without an image at a time?

    Thank you

    Mike

    The fastest solution is to reassign the drive letters to make the drive K again F.

    If it is not to your liking, you will need to do the reissue of links, but do it at the folder level, not by the image (all your folders should be showing the '?' mark thus), i.e. with the right button on a folder 'disappeared' and select 'Find the missing folder' and point Lightroom to the location on disk of K. If you have one or two records 'parent' showing, and then start there as who will automatically connect all sub-folders... If you have set up your folder hierarchy you have the record of a high level, so you could recreate a link to all missing photos with a single operation.

    You don't say what version of Lightroom that you use. Before LR4 if you did not already have the records parent display in Control Panel files in this situation, there is nothing you could do another that recreate a link on a folder by folder basis (even if it's still a heck of a lot less time does it frame-by-frame). However, the LR4 introduced the ability to show the parent folder, even in this situation of 'everything is missing'... simply right-click on the folder in the foreground showing in Panel folders and select "Show Parent Folder" and continue to do so until you see the structure of the entire folder, from there, it's a one-order reissue.

  • An easy way to re-import massive media after a hard disk crash if the library files are intact?

    Hello

    I'm running 10.2.3 on OS X 10.11.3 FCPX. My external hard drive just crashed, and while I was able to save most everything else (including library files, proxy support, etc.), Miss me about 90% of the media about 2 000 "original" files. Because the library files have been saved, it seems that my projects seem to be intact, including the cuts and changes. Since FCPX knows what files and parts of files were previously imported, import should be easy... except for the fact that there are about 1 800 distributed clips on dozens of camera archives.

    Is there a way to 'massive re-import' office where he knows the clips came, without having to wade through thousands of clips in dozens of archives and manually by clicking on each of them? Because there is also the fact that, due to several archives of the camera used, different are multiple "Clip #1", "Clip #2", etc. that FCP is solved by adding a number at the end (for example, "Clip #1 (fcp1)" and "Clip #1 (fcp2)"). " I'm afraid that if I import everything in disorder (maybe I not initially import a clip, but returned later and get it), I'll have to sift through to find a needle in a haystack and rename the files manually.

    Even if I have to specify the locations of these archives of tens of couple, it would be so much easier than having to go into each of them and click 1 800 files manually... Any suggestions?

    Please and thank you!

    Too bad. I had assumed the import > reimportation of the camera wasn't working, but apparently because I had saved the AVCHD archives on my hard drive via the Finder instead of 'Create the Archives' of in Final Cut, he just didn't see them. Creating new archives of these same AVCHD files (or rather the folders 'PRIVATE' which originally housed them on the SD card) did the trick and I was able to reimport. Alternatively, I could have re-recorded these SD cards PRIVATE folders and it would have identified those as the original 'camera' once again, too and I could have reimported it... but who would be tedious.

  • Find the source of the massive compilation errors

    Hi all

    I am trying to determine the source of the errors on a generation of RT and therefore a massive to remove compilation live broken and unused running the project is important enough, so the output from compilation of mass is large.  One thing I am struggling with trying to determine * why * an error.  For example, I get a few CompileFile: error 7, which indicates that something is looking for a file that does not exist.  How can I determine which leader is the search for the missing file?  I've attached the output from the massive compilation, but also a python file that I use to interpret the files to find errors.

    On another note about this file - what I'm doing with the release of Bad VI/Subvi?  It almost seems as if he is allowed to disregard this output.

    Any help is welcome. At soon cirrus

    (okay, that I'm lame but you are not allowed to attach python so here is the script below)

    FName = "mass_compile_log_10202016.txt."
    with open (fname) as f:
    line = f.readline () .strip)
    I = 0 # track the error number
    j = 0 # track the line number
    # Only goes to find the first 30 records
    <>
    s = line [0:3]
    j += 1

    # Not interested in a failure to load, search or bad messages VI...
    otherwise (s == ' # ' or s == 'ISP' or s == 'Sea' or s == "(C:"):
    I += 1 # increment the error
    Print (STR (i) + "[" + str (j) + ' "].") + line)
    line = f.readline () .strip)
    f.Close)

    Thank you, udka.

    In fact, I came across the easy solution (although there is always only one instance dangling out there that I can't explain).  Simply

    1. Create a new project
    2. Add a snapshot of the file you want to compile mass

    If you lack the screws in the massive compilation, these will appear in the missing build dependencies and you can know who is dependent on them.

    About the wrong screw - it is difficult to know if this could be due to the fact that the compilation of mass occurs on local and he can't find the RT del VI (since it is not on the RT system).  Whatever it is, I'm building again to see if I have an exe works on the RT system (the reason why I was making the massive compilation has been a failure on the exe - not when you build, but when running).  I have attached my log of recent massive compilation for the comparison of what I started with.

  • Volume of the recording Line-in - mass distortion

    Hi people, I was happy (and successfully) record vinyl records for months on my old pc, but now I have a new R500, but am unable to control the volume online. It's the same if I use the Line-in port (ie the microphone) or copy a cd - recorded sound is massively blown and distorted. I went to the usual audio controls, but nothing seems to be able to control. My system has a Conexant HD sound card and using Sound Forge Audio Studio 9.0. Clues would be welcome.

    Greg

    the thinkpad mic-in port is not suitable for music recording, you need a usb external sound card or card expresscard soundcard Creative etc.

  • Quick loss of millions of records in a table with version

    Hello world

    We seek for one of our tables versioned delete and contains about 28 million records.  On Exadata and 11.2.0.3.

    Normally we would just drag the table, but there is a requirement that we keep a number of documents (about 500 k), complete with the story, so that other components of the system related are not lacking (even if these 500 k will also be removed subsequently).

    I did a survey on how we can do that, but a massive factor is to ensure that there is minimal downtime.  A method I've tried is to remove batch of 5 million - if the button Delete merging could take 24 hours in total for each series and we could not afford 6 cases of this.

    I also tried DBMS_WM. PURGETABLE, but this seems to take a long time as well (even with no table to archive being created).

    Copies the records in another table LT, truncate table source and re - insert the records back in 500 k is an option that we looked at, if not ideal.  I think we would also update wm$ modified_tables for it.

    Are there other alternatives that make this possible, or if we were to go down the road of truncated - is there anything else we need to consider in order to maintain the coherence of the WMSYS dictionary?

    Many thanks in advance,

    James

    Hi James,

    Would it not possible to simply do the operation to remove directly in LIVE workspace?  This would eliminate the need to merge the workspace.  Truncation operations do not rely on the tables of the activated version.  Nor is face _LT table to a temporary table and the re-insertinig.  The hierarchy of the workspace and other metadata may have changed in the meantime which would make it invalid reinserted data.  Guaranteeing that nothing else changes it would fix, but is not yet all that is generally supported.

    Delete that number of lines will take some time little matter method.  How long the procedure PurgeTable did?  It is going to be the approach that should be faster by using features of the Workspace Manager.  In addition, if these lines will be deleted anyway, why not just wait until it is safe to do so and do it all at this point in time?  Then you must conditionally delete lines.  You can simply call dbms_wm. DisableVersioning on the table and then delete it.

    Kind regards

  • Records are missing after the fact, but not photos

    All my photos are contained within a sector of my hard disk, D:

    I recently installed a new drive hard and everything in the former D sector migrated to the new, keeping the photos directory structure.

    But for one key difference: the old computer ran on Windows 10 House, and this one is Windows 10 pro.  And in this version is not the folder my pictures.  Thus, whereas in the past, every single photo directory was a subdirectory of my images, now folder does not exist such umbrella.  The result is that, although the photos appear to be in the right folders in library view, when I try to open one, I get a message "file not found", and all files have question marks.  We are talking about dozens of records and more 16 000 photos.

    If I change the directory structure to restore the folder my pictures, LR will know where everything is?  Is that what I can do to attack the problem massively without having to redo the entire catalog?

    Please read the instructions. There is no import in this operation.

    You point the folder my pictures in the Panel folder Lightroom (using the right click 'Find Missing Folder') on the top-level folder in your operating system that contains subfolders with your photos.

  • Massive insertions

    Hi all.

    I have the requeriment to massive load of data from CSV file to the database table. ~ 8000-10000 lines.
    To achieve this, I have a View "tuned" for the inserted rows object.

    However, the process becomes 'wait times' phase commit transaction.

    How can I insert rows in the database but ADF BC? I'll put a progress bar o loading process the message, then performance is not a problem at the moment.
    Which is the best way to make massive insertions in British Colombia ADF?
    Can I block users in the application to change the information in the table while the massive load is underway?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards.

    I also had a similar type of requirement. To be honest it is that no distinction between ADF BC sets in the complete filling of your condition. However, you can use batch on the BC layer validation operation. This means just to validate the files in batch processing. Do not wait until that to read the file integer svs and also try not to commit to the time. Then try to validate the data in a set of 10-20 records at a time. It will increase the performance.

    I don't know that always he'll give performance problem.

    Although this isn't a good approach if you use this feature frequently. Of course, it give error thread stack or maybe sometime it will work and sometimes not and also I want to say that any business (ADF BC or EJB) component is not appropriate to save as many records at a time. I know immediately that your condition is to realize this feature via ADF BC.

    In addition, I also had the same requirement, but in our case, the file can contains data of 100000 or more. First I used ADF BC but it was allot of time. Later, I used oracle sql loader. you don't believe, but it's true that he used to stored data of size 100000 with 20 to 60 seconds.

    Finally, I want to suggest, if you have the option to use sql loader then use it. It is always good to use sql loader if you deal with huge data.

    Thank you

  • Problem with a massive delete operation

    Hello

    This matter is v10g Oracle.

    An array is used to store user login information and other connection related details such as IP address, the date of connection, connection time, time of disconnection etc from a web application.

    This table gets big enough (3 million documents +) and is purged once per month of all records of 3 days.

    The purge is made with a simple deletion based on the date of connection CDAT and column DISX (logout = True/False)
    DELETE FROM LOGTAB where CDAT < sysdate-3 and DISX='T';
    CDAT and DISX columns are indexed. This delete operation can tale up to 10 minutes.

    Sporadic during the delete operation when problems users to connect or disconnect: for users trying to disconnect, operation UPDATE, resulting on the table currently being deleted seems to hang.

    For users trying to connect, there may be a delay (as the INSERT is pending). In the worst cases, all sessions hang until the button DELETE finally committed thus making impossible any connection for the duration.

    There is no conflict between the data being deleted and the data are updated or INSERTED.

    DELETION should only lock the rows that match the WHERE clause, so where is the claim arising out of? This could be the index argument?
    Is there a better way to manage these massive cuts on these high transaction tables? Partitions?

    Thank you in advance.

    Have you thought about this table partitioning? Of course, this would depend on whether most queries are watching the columns you mention, but that would mean that you can truncate partitions over 3 days...

  • Synchronization of photos for the records of several PC iPAD

    Hello

    I have pictures in several files in my PC.

    I would like to synchronize all at once to my iPAD.

    When I opened "Synchronize the Photos" - page in iTunes, it is possible to select only a single folder.

    Is it possible to select several folders?

    Peter

    If the records are directly under the same parent folder then you should be able to select this parent folder at the top of this screen of Photos and records of the child must be indicated below (if you select "Selected folders") for the selection and timing of the iPad for example

    If files are located on your computer, then no, you will not be able to select and synchronize them with your iPad - I created a folder separated (with specific subfolders for holidays/events) for the photos that I have synced my iPad

    Hi George,.

    I did a brief search on that, and reached a post in these forums of Linc Davis, suggesting a restart of the computer could heal the situation. Certainly worth a try.

    Either way, the message you read indicates these items are not files. they are aliases (pointers) to the actual file. By double-clicking an alias will open the file it is pointed. The message "Can't find" sense - the file is not found because you deleted.

    Kind regards

    Barry

  • ITunes can add images to mp3 created from vinyl record?

    I created on a 1000 mp3 files (320 bps, 441hz) of the vinyl record.  Obviously, I can manually create images of these files individually but will take a while, so I was wondering if iTunes can automatically create.  I tried to select all the images in the library by getting album artwork, but it tells me the following statement just ' get album artwork requires you to connect to the iTunes Store using an identifier to Apple. " Please go to the iTunes Store and log in or create a new Apple ID. "I connected to itunes and he always tells me the same thing. Could someone point me in the right direction?  My files are saved on my mac.  Thank you very much

    Yes, you can manually add a picture as the cover to any MP3 song in your iTunes library.  Source of origin has no importance.

    The other issue is separate.  In current iTunes, go to the iTunes menu bar, and then click accounts.  The menu drops down.  At the top of the menu, if you are connected currently, your name and your Apple ID are displayed.  Do you see that?

    If you are connected (and you see your name and your Apple ID), the menu bar

    File-> library-> Get Album Artwork

    You don't need to have whatever it is selected in your library.  iTunes tries to get lack of the album artwork for songs in your library.  iTunes only 'creates' images.  iTunes album art search resource online, based on data from song and download all that is available and adds songs album art.  One (or more) songs will not match available album art.

  • record of the recommendations related to the material for music

    Can anyone recommend a minimum set of basic upward to record music with Garageband? I expect to play piano and singing, or playing guitar and singing. It is at the same time, then you can expect to need two microphones. I want to talk about a big baby and an acoustic guitar, no midi or microphones. Already, I have the Macbook, the piano and the guitar, but assume that I have nothing else. Should what microphone I expect? What other equipment? Don't forget, I'm the research base and a minimum. Thank you!

    Hello EmeraldIbex,

    Thanks for your question.  I think that music is one of the coolest things you can do on a Mac!  I'll include some products from our Web site to help you get started.  Products such as The Apogee One will give the microphone and line input jacks you need to record instruments.   Microphones such as the Shure SM58 will provide you with exceptional quality for your voice.  A visit to your store studio or recording local music will help you decide which is the best techniques of micro and placement for your big baby recording.   Here are a few sections of the GarageBand User Guide that explain how to record vocals, instruments, and several tracks on your Mac.

    The user guide for GarageBand

    Before recording Audio

    Record sound from a microphone or an electric instrument

    Save on multiple audio tracks
