Master Pages and subforms

Any help is appreciated!

I created a form with 4 master pages. The first contains a subform of analytical data. It occurs only once. The 2nd master page contains a subform of many data fields. This master page is limited to 30 occurrences. The 3rd master page is a master summary of some data on the 2nd page. The 4th occurs only once and contains only the data of a "Yes" answer on the 30 occurrences of the 2nd master page.

I need to have some (for example name) areas of the Master Page 2 fill a column of 30 raw in a Master Page 3 table. How can I get each "trade name" occupy a separate space in the table?

Also, if a user archive 'Yes' on one of the 30 occurrences of Page 2, is it possible to have all the data of these sheets to fill the Master Page 4?

He took the time to look at your file and understand the requirement... Here are my observations...

  • First of all, I gave a proper name for the Master Pages in the hierarchy. Selected the "(Master Pages) ' form1 in the hierarchy and renamed"Master pages"." This gives a cleaner approach in the code while referencing controls.
  • Field supervisor carries the name as LicenseNo initials, I renamed it to SupervisorInitials to avoid confusion by referencing the fields.
  • A commented code in "form1. MasterPages.Page2.SummarySheet.Successful::exit ".
    in case of 'Success' only is 'None ' then' Desc' is hidden;
  • I changed the target version for Acrobat or Reader 8.0 or later, because many things are not supported in 7.0.

To complete section locations under license...
(1) it is better to replace the text boxes of 30 rows with the rows in the table.

(2) when you do this the left column, you can use for serial numbers. Currently, you put a text and vertically you enter serial numbers.

(3) given that your form is a static form, you can write the script in the output event of controls (for example the trade name) in the 2nd Master pages to fill in the corresponding field in 'Section allowed locations' page.

(4) Simialrly for Type and license #, you need to write the same script in the click event of the radiobutton LicenseType and also the output of the license number field event to concatenate values and fill in the corresponding field in the page "authorized locations Section.

(5) do the same for the address field

To fill the page of 'tobacco Compliance Check Detail... "

(1) you must write code in the click event for the option button 'Purchase successful' to fill the corresponding fields in the table.

I placed example code for complete business name, license number, Date and time in the attached file. You can see the code in the events
"form1. MasterPages.Page2.SummarySheet.Successful.SuccYes::click' and 'form1. MasterPages.Page2.SummarySheet.Successful.SuccNo::click ".

To test the file, open it in Reader / Acrobat, enter values for the trademark, license No., Date and time and click on Yes to successful purchase. Check the Table of non-compliance with the data entered.  If you select No, then the values will be deleted for this line.

    So I created a database, and I want to read data from the database table.     It looks like the upper part may be in a State reduced - the line was pulled up.

    Just of the cursor on the line that separates the upper and lower sections, and drag it to the bottom.

    I'm working on the landing page for a website and I wanted to create box that was left at the bottom of the browser window and a hyperlink to the next anchor below.

    As for the second question, there is a work around to get there using the opacity in the effects of scorl Panel. See attachments.

    I created a word/link called then. He performed the fallen on the page and linked to a text anchor.

    Why do you need to replace the title of the page?

    Use either a text variable, a section marker or create another master page based on this master page with a different text in the placeholder. Only the content will appear on the pages, everything else, like running headers or page numbers or artifacts have a place on the master page without replacing them.

    When you later create accessible PDF or EPUB this difference is important. You can read high voice content in Acrobat for accessibility, that text on the page, not the master is used for this, and when you export an EPUB page only elements, not the master are included as it should.

    If you need text to expand, when something changes, create your page with margins and borders that will help to make changes later.

    I think that your posToInsertAt for IPageCmdData::Set is incorrect.

    If the doc does not have facing Pages, posToInsertAt = 1;

    If doc is facing Pages and page insertion is the left-hand Page, posToInsertAt = 2;

    If doc is facing Pages and insert page is the right Page, posToInsertAt = 1;

    posToInsertAt = spread-> GetNumPages();

    newDocCmd and newDocCmdData are not used, you can delete these.

They all need to be formatted in the same way. Of course, you start by developing a model with master pages and then start each manual based on this model. But then what happens if we discover that for some reason any, that we have to change a graphic on master pages (or something on the pages of reference, a paragraph tag or a variable)? On the import of these things in another file, it is a possibility. But all those working on the project have to do it manually for each file in every book? Or y at - it a way to get these things put updated dynamically across multiple files?

    Or I'm misunderstading how such a project, and so this is a false problem in practice.

    Import formats is very flexible.

    Brief description of van of synchronization of formats across two or more files by importing them from a master file is excellent. However, it highlights one of the problems with the feature import Formats: it can import that categories of full format - all the variables, the paragraph formats, etc. To selectively import only a part of a category of format, savve a copy of the main template under a new name, then delete everything unwanted in each category of format, save the file, and then use this model custom as the source for the file > import > Formats.

    Google search for terms such as "suppression of the FrameMaker formats", without the quotes, for more details.

    You can also use a custom master file to create new formats and import them into your main template file, or you can keep this custom template independent of the general model and the new formats for import it.

    OK there are two Associates as I see it.

    Each of your pages is made up of a solid, opaque, for a main image bitmap.
    Master Pages, by default, are at the bottom of the layer stack. Your
    tabs ARE present, you just can't see them because they are covered by
    the bitmap image.

    Assuming that you do not have these page images of the elements multiple objects,
    where you can change the blue background, there are always two things you
    can do, which are pretty easy.

    Go to each page and temporarily lower the opacity of the layer 1.
    Use the marquee tool to draw a selection around the area of the tabs.
    Delete the selection.
    Replace the lay full opacity.

    OR

    Try to drag the master page to the top of the layer stack in each page.
    Hide or remove the master page background.
    This option is a little more complicated, but I've been able to do. Expect that the
    bar black to appear before you release the mouse button. You may need to try

  • Master Pages and text boxes

    I'm trying to set up my master page with a few text boxes, but I try to get so that the text boxes I put in place in the master page, I can use and edit text in my Document. But what is the point of putting the text boxes in the master pages if you can't use them on your pages. This could be something simple, but I can't understand it. IM use cs4. Help, please

    There is nothing wrong with putting a text on a master page object. To edit a template on a page, command + shift + click on item.

    OK I used frames as a design of multiple pages, so I'm very happy with the addition of 'Pages' and 'Master pages '. However, there is a glaring fault. Guides. It is natural to assume that if you set guides on a master page, these guides will be available in any page created, but, they are not passed through. This means you must define the same guides over and over again!

    Maybe I am missing somehting?

  • MySQL Sytax error with master pages and details

    Master and detail pages.
    I get a SQL error when I click on an item in the master page.
    "You have an error in your syntax SQL; "check the manual corresponding to your version of the MySQL server for the right syntax to use near 'ID = 16 LIMIT 0, 10' at line 1"
    If I try to open the details page, I get

    The nature of the InDesign templates which is the master items can be modified on the pages of the document.  Master page items can be unlocked on the pages of a document (shift-command on a mac), but recommended is to avoid doing this.

    I did an exploration of the possibilities, and I can't find a situation where access to the part of Master Pages from the Pages panel is completely lost. The separator between sections of pages, Master Pages and document is drag-able, but even by slide it upwards or downwards is not completely hide the masters... at least in my control panel.

    So, the strangeness you encounter is exactly the kind of strangeness that lightens in general with a reset of the preferences. This at least is the first thing you should try if you have not already.

  • With the help of .index + 1 in Master Pages

    Generally, I would use a textfield with the script 'this.rawValue = SubformA.index + 1'; the track/count the number of instances of SubformA.  So, if I add a button and a new version of the subform is created, the textfield object would read 2,3,4 etc.

    Simple, but I need to put the script (this.rawValue = SubformA.index + 1 ;) in a master page so that I can use it in a header on each page.  To do this, I used the full path to reference the subform (this.rawValue = xfa.form.form1.SubfromA.index + 1 ;) However, whenever a new version of the subform is created (by pressing the Add button), it retains the instance to 1. He no longer increases by 1 as it did when the script was not in the Master Page.

    Any idea what's going on? How do I use .index + 1 in the master page and still have it increase by a time easch a Subfom (not in the master page) is created?

    I advise to use .count instead of index.

    this.rawValue = page1._SubformA.count;

    Underscore in front of the SubformA is the abbreviation of instanceManager.

    If the form is likely to extend beyond a single page, you must set the TextField to global binding in the object > range of liaison.
