  By clicking on the small triangles in the bar of breakpoint on the layout page, which represent the masterpage breakpoints.

  MasterPage breakpoint are not automatically applied to layout pages, because the masterpages content can "break" so many different places that the content of your layout pages. Just think about 4 images now on the master page, which would have need of repositioning on smaller screen sizes and a simple text on layout, that does not need any breakpoint at all.

  Is there a better method to set headers and footers on an existing master page, which has multiplied the breakpoints?

  Method 1... If I set the header/footer on a breakpoint, the adjustment is only on this breakpoint, so I have to drag all them breakpoint individually, which can lead to mistakes I've made.

  Method 2... remove all headers/feet reset breakpoints, and then add breakpoints.

  Also a header/footer value is adjustable from the keyboard instead of drag?

  Drag is the only way to set a value of footer

  I begins at conception (phone) most small and work up, but I know others who like to start with top so its up to you... IMO a footer | header with more than two elements each seems cluttered but again its your design.

• InDesign master page applies to pages that say they have none applied.

  I'm trying to set up a site so that the master page content above rather than the content of each page.

  I found this; Adobe Muse help | Working with Master Pages which says I should be able to right click on the mandatory content of the page master in design mode and select "move to > Master in the foreground '.»  I can't seem to find this command anywhere in the Muse or any method at all to display content from master to the foreground.

  I use the latest version (2014.3) perfectly up-to-date.

  Am I missing something or has this functionality changed in newer versions of Muse?

  Can someone point me in the right direction?

• Bringing the master page in the front and sub navigation menu

  I have two problems with my menu. I have my menus in a master page which was pinned to the top of the page and 'sent to the front', but when you view the pages with that master has been applied, the menu goes behind the content of the page. Is there a way to automatically move the master page in the face? Or do I need to copy and paste my menu for each page manually to adjust its location in the layers panel?

  To answer your second question:

  • To change the active appearance of the menu items, you must change their appearance of States.

  To do this:

  • Double-click the master page that contains the menu widget
  • Click on the widget to select the full menu.
    
  • With the selected menu, move your cursor over one of the menu items (home, About Us, Contact us etc) and click on the menu item and view the States Panel.
  
  
• You can use the States Panel to modify the appearance of:
  • Normal: inactive appearance that people will see when you do not see the page.
  • Turnover: the appearance that you will see when you move the mouse over a menu item.
  • The mouse down: the appearance when the mouse button is in the "low" position (clicked).
  • Assets: the appearance of your menu item have when someone visits this page.
• Click the active state, make design changes required to select.

Note: By default "Edit together" is enabled for widgets menu, this means that the States of this edition a menu item will automatically apply the same setting to the rest of the menu items.

To do this change the behavior edit together:

• Click on the blue arrow at the top right of the widget to display the options.
• Select or deselect change set.

  I need to do a simple task, but it seems impossible.

  I do a large number of documents of the same type and stlye. Lets say, something like a certificate or diploma. They all have the same design, and the only thing that is different in them is the text in 2 areas that each text a. say that if we follow the example of certificate on each card, I have to put in the same text two boxes - 'the name of the person' and 'date '. So I have to set a beautiful master page with 2 text boxes that I can fill in for each card. Given that design can change, I need to be able to move the positions of the boxes on the master page, after I filled out their.   The trick is to not move the text block on the page of the document, or you need to move each one individually. If you want to move them all, move on the master page. If it's just a few, you need to move those appearing on the document pages and lose the connection to the master page.

  And you need to use styles if you want to make a change that will change everything. A paragraph style should do, unless you want different text within a paragraph attributes. In this case, apply styles of character for different pieces. And substitute styles locally.

• InDesign CS5 will stop when you insert a left master page.

  Is in InDesign CS5 down whenever I try to insert a page of a master. I'm trying to insert a page on the back before a spread.   The result is that Adobe does not provide any software to defeat the security of a PDF file. If the creator of the PDF file set to this level of security, intentionally or not, that's what it is! The solution to your problem is to go to the creator of the document and ask the password or an unprotected PDF file version.

• Using a little code on Master Page to fill the page names in the text box?

  I was wondering if Muse has any codes that you might put in a box of text on the main Page so that all pages using this master to have their name filled in automatically on this page (e.g. a Page title - about us, Contact, etc.) instead of manually add a text box on each page in a particular space. The short code would make reference in the name of the page on the Site Plan and fill in this text on the page.

  I tried searching using different formulations, but have not found solutions to this particular problem.

  It is very easy to do: just to give all these fields of the same name. All the fields in a PDF form that have the same name will contain the same user input - if they type in a, it will appear in the other.

• How to fill my date fields placed on the Master Page to several pages?

  I have a dynamic form with fields flowing. I inserted date fields using the tab of Master Pages in Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2, Windows 7 operating system. I have only 1 Master Page. Everything on the form works fine, except when I have several pages, date fields are empty on all except the first page. One of the date fields in the event javascript has exit to calculate the second field. I can manually change the fields of date subsequent page (s), but I don't want the end user to have to do. I want that date fields on the new pages to match the date fields in the first pages. Here's my output with notes to provide a visualization of what I'm looking for.
