Master page content in the foreground.
Hey there.
I'm trying to set up a site so that the master page content above rather than the content of each page.
I found this; Adobe Muse help | Working with Master Pages which says I should be able to right click on the mandatory content of the page master in design mode and select "move to > Master in the foreground '.» I can't seem to find this command anywhere in the Muse or any method at all to display content from master to the foreground.
I use the latest version (2014.3) perfectly up-to-date.
Am I missing something or has this functionality changed in newer versions of Muse?
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thank you
Hello
With the release of Muse version 5.0.704 on June 17, 2013, the layers Panel replaces the foreground/background master functionality delivered as part of the release of Muse Q1.
Now to do the same thing that you will need to use the layers panel. Please visit the links below to understand how it works.

New to Muse - help with text sitting above my head of master page content
Hi, I need to know how to make the text box I created my "home" page scroll under the main of the header section of my master page content please.
Hi Robyn,
You can use the "Layers" feature to achieve this. Add the contents of the header of the page master to a layer and PIN. Add content to an another layer/s. Then bring the layer content header at the front.
See you soon!

Multiple Master Pages - how to the next setup page
Hi all
We create an adobe form in lifecycle designer.
We have three pages masters (for example, MPage1, MPage2, & Mpage3)
And we have a body page (subform\Page) in which we table that has data displayed getting more than 5 to 10 Pages.
Now for this boy (Bpage1) in the "Pagigation" tab page we have content area MPage1 and for the overflow of MPage2 content area.
What we need now is the first page must be MPage1 and 2nd page should be Mpage2 - (this works fine too)
After that we need MPage3 3rd and 4th page like MPage2 and so on.
That is, after the first page, we need Page 2 & 3 should be repeated one after the other.
Like - MPage1--MPage2--Mpage3--MPage2--Mpage3--MPage2--Mpage3--MPage2--Mpage3
We believe, on the table, some events through Java coding to change the setting of the Page "overflow" according to the current page number.
How define then which page should serve as a nextoverflow page.
Please suggest.
Kind regards
Amit
Hello
you do not have any script to get this working.
You can set the order of master pages by changing the settings for all of the master pages.
Here is an example.

Fireworks master page adapts to the he's happy and apply to only a few selected pages?
Hi all!
I use the PNG Fireworks format to save all the pages of the websites that I build. However, when I apply a master page in a Fireworks project, all subsequent pages have this applied master page. Sometimes it is necessary to have a page without the master page applied to it, but I can't seem to find how to do this.
Another difficulty, I fell on that is not be able to make the master page to adjust to its content, just like regions editable in Dreamweaver model, for those who know what it is. Is it possible to do in Fireworks?
Greetings,
Casal André
André,
Regarding your first question, we could think that the drop down menu panel Pages might have a command that you would release a selected page of the master, but apparently not. However, if you select the page and go to the layers panel, you can display the Master Page layer in the bottom of the stack. You can set the visibility of the layer or its components, or go to the menu drop-down in the layers panel and choose Delete Master Page layer.
Regarding the second question, I don't think that it is possible for a page master to "adapt to its content. Per, I'm guessing that you mean to respond fluidly to the other elements on the page, whether they are long or short, etc. It is a property of the web pages, where everything is "outstanding". But Fireworks uses a different system.
I'm still new to the feature Pages myself, but have you tried the options "Share layer" menu drop-down in the layers panel? These could offer some of the benefits of the feature of the master page, but with more flexibility. The symbols are also something to consider when you want to repeat the elements in a document.

Master Pages to control the body of text Styles?
I think that I must not understand Master Pages.
I want to create a set of blocks of text on each page in my book. I'd like the images to be the same on each page, with the same font, justification, size, etc. for each frame (and I'm not put on blocks of text from one page to the other).
If I try to use Master Pages to put all in place and then you change the master page by pasting the different text on each page, I lose the ability to change the fonts, the sizes of fonts, etc. on all pages at once. Since I replaced the captain for this block of text, change the mask is no longer affects this text.
Should I use another way to set the font, font size, the justification, the etc in frames on all pages at once? (I join resize or move these blocks of text on all pages at once, too, but just pasting text into a substituted master framework seems to let me to modify the framework itself.)
Any ideas?
Thanks for any help.
What you describe is paragraph Styles: font, size, justification, etc. When you use a paragraph style say body text and want to make a global change, just change the assigned to body text paragraph style. Can you give an example of the "set of blocks of text on each page. Also if you can tell us what version of ID you use, Mac/Windows?

Hello
With the help of experts on this forum, I corrected some problems of dash/tab on my two Master Pages.
Here's the thing, though - it screwed up the four pages that I already created (and then manually set): the text in the placeholder on the top right text that I had already added to these pages and did other things also.
I need to create Master Pages to use for all new pages I create in the future? Or is it possible to set a Master Page and then tell InDesign to apply these changes to the new page I create, but to leave alone the pages already created?
Thank you, Malcolm
If the pages need to be different, you can create a new master page for each of these appearances. Conversely, if it's just a one-time deviation from the master, you could click the document page and choose replace all elements of Master Page in the Pages panel menu. The duplicate text boxes that you see is because you have redone the master to the pages of the document. This could be avoided by setting the text frame on the Master Page as a main text block. Who help me?

Why a master page appear on the pasteboard?
I upgraded my system to Yosemite and my software by 2014 CC. I started the implementation of a new document in InDesign and the first page of my document displays the master page to the right on the pasteboard on the left of the first layout page. Why it does this and what can I do about it?
My first guess, without the info I need, would be that you have a document to spread and you have on the master page elements overlapping two master pages. What makes these items appear on the single pages of your document too.

Using a little code on Master Page to fill the page names in the text box?
I was wondering if Muse has any codes that you might put in a box of text on the main Page so that all pages using this master to have their name filled in automatically on this page (e.g. a Page title - about us, Contact, etc.) instead of manually add a text box on each page in a particular space. The short code would make reference in the name of the page on the Site Plan and fill in this text on the page.
I tried searching using different formulations, but have not found solutions to this particular problem.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
You can use getfunction to pull up the page title and display it on the page, if it is only on display name of current page on the body of the page, insert this code into html master page properties:
