Materialized view does not quickly refresh with sysdate in where clause

Hi all

I am trying to create a view, materialized with sysdate in where clause. This makes the complex query, and so I can't create a quick refreshment mview.

I tried to create with rowid too, but it does not create a quick refreshment.

I was wondering if someone can advise me, how can I accomplish this task, which would be really appreciated.

The query is:

create a materialized view PS_MEETING

build the DEFERRED payment

Refresh quickly with rowid

as

SELECT *.

MEETING M

WHERE state_desc = 'VIC '.

OR Meet_date < TRUNC (SYSDATE);

General restrictions on update quickly

The definition of the materialized view query is limited as follows:

  • The materialized view must not contain references to non-repetitive phrases such as SYSDATE and ROWNUM .

So I guess that you would need a more static than sysdate condition - or another strategy update.

    There is a bug, that dropping a materialized view leaves behind a summary that stop the materialized view to be properly cleaned and dropped in the data dictionary.

    Connect as sysdba and check DBA_SUMMARIES to an entry of your materialized view. If he doesn't make one: drop summary OWNER. MV_NAME;

    That should drop your MV successfully.

    to check in real time when MV to be updated you can use
    Select *.
    of USER_JOBS

    or DBA_JOBS with schema_user = SCHEMA YOUR condition

    and check the work where WHAT = dbms_refresh.refresh (' 'YOUR PLAN'.) ("' YOUR MV" ')
    in the fields last_date, next_date, you will see the date and time of the last and next refreshes.

    CHESS! = 0, it means there is problem with update, see alerts to identify a problem.

    I checked on Oracle 10.2.0.4.

    Hello. I'm working on the PeopleSoft application that runs on the database server Oracle 11 g 1 top material.

    I run the MSK_CFG, but it returns the error: Table or view does not exist. Has no SQL statement: Truncate Table user.PS_MSK_CFG_TAO4.

    I run the SQL to SQL statement > as below:

    SQL > select * from the user. MSK_CFG_TAO;
    SQL > select * from user.PS_MSK_CFG_TAO;
    SQL > select * from user.PS_MSK_CFG_TAO4;

    All the 3 tables above are non-existent.

    I checked the application designer, the MSK_CFG_TAO table is a temporary table with 4 fields. This table is the database. PS_ is before the table MSK_CFG_TAO fix. and the PS_MSK_CFG_TAO4 table is an instance of the temporary table MSK_CFG_TAO.

    I do not understand how to handle this kind of error.

    My question is:

    How to solve the Temorary MSK_CFG_TAO and PS_MSK_CFG_TAO tables are not exist in SQL > fast during the temporary table MSK_CFG_TAO is actually in the database?

    Chances are that it is just "how it works" in this version. If the real browsers display it correctly, you're probably fine.

    CS6 is legacyware now, there will be some other updates.

    This could be because the underlying source objects are now started to change. Is there any night script that changes or modifies the table of the source? If Yes, this means you will have to recompile the mview before running the update. You can add this line in front of your refresh command.

    You won't see this problem in your new instance if you do not change your source object. It could very well be someone changed your source object only once and you won't have the same problem in the future.

    DevPixelsPerPx is - 1.0 by default, which causes Firefox to scale with the parameter of the BONE, which is perfectly fine.     Since there is only one user in your role, so I'll suggest to directly grant you the user rather than role - it's the easiest and simplest account according to your needs. The roles are best used to organize all of the users. If ever it is necessary to use roles (i.e. multiple users/schemas in a role) then, I think, you can play with AUTHID clause creating blocks.

    Can someone please explain how works (DBMS_XMLGEN) and why it is throwing this error?

    It has nothing to do with DBMS_XMLGEN. GETXMLTYPE. It simply means the user running your SQL has no select privileges on the table & SCHEMA_NAME. & TABLE_NAME.

  • Procedure compilation error: Table or view does not exist

    I have privilege granted to me on some tables, SELECTION that I found thanks to view user_tab_privs.

    Now, I wrote a stored procedure that attempts to insert into a table that I created with the data of a query based on joins on tables, sure I have the right to SELECT.

    But when I compile my inside, it shows errors:

    • PL/SQL: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

    What could be the problem?  Were breaking my head.

    Note: Mark USER_TAB_PRIVS with the DEALER = < > says that I have the privilege of SELECT on all tables that I used in my procedure.

    Mark USER_SYS_PRIVS shows a single line like "UNLIMITED TABLESPACE"

    In order to access the table in a procedure, select must have been granted to the user directly and not through a role.
