Very weird, I need to drop this MV in order to create a new. I am not in a position from the drop. Said Materialized view has declined, but he didn't fall.

There is a bug, that dropping a materialized view leaves behind a summary that stop the materialized view to be properly cleaned and dropped in the data dictionary.
Connect as sysdba and check DBA_SUMMARIES to an entry of your materialized view. If he doesn't make one: drop summary OWNER. MV_NAME;
That should drop your MV successfully.

Materialized view does not quickly refresh with sysdate in where clause
Hi all
I am trying to create a view, materialized with sysdate in where clause. This makes the complex query, and so I can't create a quick refreshment mview.
I tried to create with rowid too, but it does not create a quick refreshment.
I was wondering if someone can advise me, how can I accomplish this task, which would be really appreciated.
The query is:
create a materialized view PS_MEETING
build the DEFERRED payment
Refresh quickly with rowid
as
SELECT *.
MEETING M
WHERE state_desc = 'VIC '.
OR Meet_date < TRUNC (SYSDATE);
the behavior is documented: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e25554/basicmv.htm#DWHSG8201
General restrictions on update quickly
The definition of the materialized view query is limited as follows:
- The materialized view must not contain references to non-repetitive phrases such as
SYSDATE
andROWNUM
.
So I guess that you would need a more static than sysdate condition - or another strategy update.
- The materialized view must not contain references to non-repetitive phrases such as

Materialized view does not get updated!
Hi all
I had created this point of view, materialized on 1 may, he performed very well and I checked it on May 2, that she had updated. Today when I checked the last refresh date is always on view may 2, which means not materialized view get updated this morning at 9.
create materialized view EMPLOYEES_IN_EDWDB6 refresh fast start with (sysdate) next to_date(sysdate+1) + 9/24 as select employee_id,first_name,last_name,email,phone_number,hire_date,job_id,salar y,commission_pct,manager_id,department_id from hr.employees@link_dwdb_hr
Will be the code below do freshen up everymorning at 9?MVIEW_NAME LAST_REFR ------------------------------ --------- EMPLOYEES_IN_EDWDB6 02-MAY-10
Also how do I check the properties of a view of materiazed, i, e if I want to know at what time the materialized view Refresh.refresh fast start with (sysdate) next to_date(sysdate+1) + 9/24
Thanks in advance,
Kind regardsHello
to check in real time when MV to be updated you can use
Select *.
of USER_JOBSor DBA_JOBS with schema_user = SCHEMA YOUR condition
and check the work where WHAT = dbms_refresh.refresh (' 'YOUR PLAN'.) ("' YOUR MV" ')
in the fields last_date, next_date, you will see the date and time of the last and next refreshes.CHESS! = 0, it means there is problem with update, see alerts to identify a problem.
I checked on Oracle 10.2.0.4.

People,
Hello. I'm working on the PeopleSoft application that runs on the database server Oracle 11 g 1 top material.
I run the MSK_CFG, but it returns the error: Table or view does not exist. Has no SQL statement: Truncate Table user.PS_MSK_CFG_TAO4.
I run the SQL to SQL statement > as below:
SQL > select * from the user. MSK_CFG_TAO;
SQL > select * from user.PS_MSK_CFG_TAO;
SQL > select * from user.PS_MSK_CFG_TAO4;All the 3 tables above are non-existent.
I checked the application designer, the MSK_CFG_TAO table is a temporary table with 4 fields. This table is the database. PS_ is before the table MSK_CFG_TAO fix. and the PS_MSK_CFG_TAO4 table is an instance of the temporary table MSK_CFG_TAO.
I do not understand how to handle this kind of error.
My question is:
How to solve the Temorary MSK_CFG_TAO and PS_MSK_CFG_TAO tables are not exist in SQL > fast during the temporary table MSK_CFG_TAO is actually in the database?
Thanks in advance.

A drop materialized view error
I tried to drop two materialized views (I want to drop one and the other as a test to make sure that the behavior was consistent) with SQL Developer today, using the GUI, not the window of SQL command. When I did this, Developer SQL with these MVs among the tables, he tried to run a 'DROP TABLE' rather than a 'DROP MATERIALIZED VIEW' statement and an ugly error message came up with that and of course she didn't. Is this a bug that needs to be addressed? Or maybe that it is already identified and addressed in a future version?
Earl
Looks like you're down the underlying table, not the materialized view. If you have a my_mv of materialized view, there is also a table called my_mv.
You must drop the materialized since the Materialized View node in Object Explorer view.

Drop Materialized view in peoplesoft
Hello
I have a requirement in which I am refreshing a materialized view.
I created a table, and in my sql, I have a statement
DROP THE PS_FZZZ_PSQ_ACC_MV MATERIALIZED VIEW;
But when I run it I get an error like below
Position of the error: 0 return: 12003 - ORA-12003: materialized view "SYSADM". "" PS_FZZZ_PSQ_ACC_MV ".
There is no SQL failed stmt:DROP MATERIALIZED VIEW PS_FZZZ_PSQ_ACC_MV
30108778 ABENDED to step FZGL_ACCESS process. PRINCIPAL. MV_DROP (SQL) - RC = 12003 (108 524)
Why drop the materialized view to refresh it?
See this doc on the updating of the snapshots:
Refresh of the materialized views - an overview (Doc ID 889342.1)
AFAIK materialized views are supported non-PeopleSoft objects.
Since they are not part of PeopleTools metadata, you can use that specific database through the call objects SQLExec of SQL procedures.
CLARRIFICATION about M - VIEW (Doc ID 987449.1)
You can try to create a step PeopleCode in your AE and run the command
SQLExec ("PS_FZZZ_PSQ_ACC_MV DROP MATERIALIZED VIEW ;");
or create a SQL step and add the drop statement a PLSQL blok
BEGIN
RUN IMMEDIATELY "DROP MATERIALIZED PS_FZZZ_PSQ_ACC_MV VIEW ';
END;

How to handle the ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
HII All,
I'm trying to delete a table dynamically independently of its existence in a procedure. Sound fine when the table exists, but when the table does not work I am facing following error
I've made use of pragma exception_init and modified my code like belowORA-00942: table or view does not exist

(1) I need the drop because I need to immediately create the table with the name of different file and different path.
(2) the last thing I do not do is to check the name of the table in the USER_OBJECTS and then drop.
(3) suggest that create an external table dynamically as a correct approach or not.
(4) up to now, we use utl_file for reading stream file but I am much interested to use the concept of EXTERNAL TABLE.
(5) as the file name and the path is changed, I need to create my external table during execution.
Please suggest me that I can change my file name and the path when runningDon't drop and re-create it, just create once as DDL not in code and then change it to point to a new file.

Asked me to shake my question in one sentence, so this is.
Image Viewer does not offer native zoom level unless layout.css.devPixelsPerPx is set to 1.0, which makes all the tiny interface.DevPixelsPerPx is - 1.0 by default, which causes Firefox to scale with the parameter of the BONE, which is perfectly fine. The problem is that it causes also open image files and especially the zoom level, nationwide also identical to the user interface. A zoom level is adapted to the screen, the other is native. (One is a magnifying glass with a '+', the other a '-'.) Or rather, the other * should * be native, but in practice, it is not native, is climbed by the setting of the BONE, making it as arbitrary and fuzzy like any other level of zoom, which defeats the whole point and does not allow access to a native scaling in any reasonable way.
If you want to experiment, here is something you can try, a bookmarklet that inserts a 'Native' button on the page. It takes into account your level of "net" zoom current and reduced the image natural dimensions.
(1) select and copy the following script:
javascript:var btn=document.createElement('button'); btn.style.cssFloat='right'; btn.appendChild(document.createTextNode('Native')); document.body.insertBefore(btn, document.body.firstChild); btn.addEventListener('click', function(){var img=document.querySelector('img');img.style.transform='scale('+(1/window.devicePixelRatio)+')';}, false); void 0;
(2) right-click a task on your bookmarks bar or, if you do not display this bar, click on the bookmarks menu button and right click a place there, and then click new bookmark
(3) paste the script in the location line
(4) assign a name like native, and then click Add a bookmark
While you look at a picture, click the bookmark (let) to inject the button. Then click on the button to resize the image.
Success?
If you change the zoom level of the 'page', click on the new button to resize it due to the change.

Hello
I have posted responses to other posts on this topic, but thought I'd start a new thread to gather my conclusions. I'm sorry for a trial
This PC is virtually brand new (only a few weeks now) and otherwise perform exceptionally.
Basically, if the machine is disconnected from the power grid (i.e. the power is off at the plug or the power cord removed), when the machine is supplied then the CPU fan turns over 2000 rpm and stays there. All the other PC that I do this too, but the fan will slow down after turning upward. I know that this is done as part of the POST to check that the fan is running.
If I go into any installation of seed, start-up or BIOS for example (i.e. by pressing ESC or F10 etc.), the fan will slow down immediately up to 700 rpm. It will stay like that until the next time the machine is started against the cold. If I shut down the PC - watch or stop - but do not cut the power supply, then the next time the machine is started, the fan is still about 700 rpm. It is not to turn up to 2 k + RPM when lit.
As soon as I unplug, then the next time the PC boots, it will turn to the top and I have to repeat steps - off, boot, enter the BIOS, exit and continue. It is something to do with the cold start.
Note that I don't have to do anything in the start menu - I for example go to the BIOS settings, exit without saving the changes, and the fan will still slow. It's going in the boot sector that slows down the fan.
When the PC started out-of-the-box, I opted for the upgrade to Windows 10 during installation. I have read in various places that people had experienced after the upgrade, so I reset the machine to factory settings (Win 8.1) and have not upgraded, but the problem persisted. However convinces me that Windows 10 has been removed completely, as when I went to restore the backup image (i.e. dating back to what I had before the factory reset) there are references to 10 Windows (for example, it says 'Continue to Windows 10' as well as various food options). I do not understand UEFI so I don't know if that was involved.
I tried to change the power plan options "Processor power management-> cooling system strategy" on the liabilities side, but no joy there.
I think that the fan and sensors work, based on the findings below. These readings of temp and fan are taken from AIDA64
After starting cold (current was cut, without entering the BIOS), machine runs dry without load
Exactly the same thing--starting in cold, but go in the BIOS, do nothing and continue. Once again, no load
This is after power off and resarting, but to let the PC network
After the above, I used Prime95 to put the CPU support (use of 95-100%), and after an hour, the readings are:
Note that even so, the fan was not particularly strong, but it's at 2222 rpm as in the first reading.
If I play at 4K (the whole point of the PC ) the CPU so far got very warm, the GPU is but his fan turns up as planned.
In conclusion, it seems that the POST has a problem because it does not slow down the fan after the test.
I can live with let the machine always plugged into the sector (for example, most of the time) and I guess that's what most people do, but I would like to know what the problem is (for example if it's really something 10 Windows, or a bug in the BIOS/UEFI)
Thank you very much!
John
Explain you a lot of people who maybe have returned their system immediately because of this? Others might judge normal sound. Not irritable average is not coming here to complain. Others might judge her so little. They simply don't like. You will never convince me that is not a BIOS problem. As the problem resolves itself when you enter manually each time. It can be reproduced every time.

Alienware 13 fan does not slow down
After it cools, unless I open nivdia Control Panel does not slow down the fan Alienware 13, once the nivida control panel open the fan then starts to slow down.
Update November 2016: the latest Nvidia driver solves the problem, fans now work as expected.

He also works in a different environment, but throwing error in our test environment, both environments are well established for a long time to return, and many projects are developed by many different groups.
I really need expertise help to break this question. Given that I do not get no idea why his mistake to throw into the application layer?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Save nqquery.log which connection pool is used to send the query to the DB. Then check the configuration of the Connection Pool to see what user credentials are used to connect to the database, to which database (DSN), and if the table owner prefix is added to the SQL.
ORA-00942 can often be due to the existing table, but the user trying to access him confer no rights. Rather than say 'no permission', Oracle will say 'does not exist.

table or view does not exist error when you try to generate tables of database online.
Hello
I use Jdeveloper 12 c and is trying to generate tables of a database in offline mode, I created, for a connection of database online. The error message that appears is:
java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist.
More information:
The database I use is Oracle11g Database Release 2. And I get a warning saying that the 12 c functionality will be lost when generating an 11 g database.
In addition, the problem occurs only when I have foreign key constraints in my table. All the other tables that have no foreign key constraints generates very well.
Any ideas why this happens?
Thank you!
Instead of directly generating the DB, generate a sql script. Then, you see the generated statement and can run the script using a db sql worksheet.
If you get the error, you can view the script here.

ORA-00942: table or view does not exist in SOA
Hello
I created a composite that contains the Web service-> Ombudsman-> DBAdapter.
This web service retrieves the data from the database on the basis of the comments. The composite is compiled.
But on the tests, I make the following mistake:
env:Server < faultcode > < / faultcode >
< faultstring > Exception occurred when the link was invoked.
Exception occurred during invocation of the JCA binding: "JCA binding run operations reference 'DB_getSelect' have to: DBReadInteractionSpec Execute Failed Exception."
Name of the query: [DB_getSelect], name of the descriptor: [DB_get. MdsPaths].
Caused by java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
.
See the first exception for the specific exception. This exception is considered as reproducible, probably due to a communication failure. To be classified as not reproducible instead, add nonRetriableErrorCodes property to "942" deployment descriptor (i.e. weblogic - RA.Xml). Auto retry a reproducible fault set composite.xml for this invoke these properties: jca.retry.interval, jca.retry.count and jca.retry.backoff. All properties are integers.
".
The called JCA adapter threw an exception of resource.
Please examine the error message above carefully to determine a resolution. < / faultstring >
< faultactor / >
< detail >
< exception > ORA-00942: table or view does not exist < / exception >
I checked my DB Adapter Configuration. Its quite well. Please answer if you hava a solution.
Thank you
Hi AnatoliAtanasov,
Thanks for the response to the stupid question.
(a) Yes, I have the table created in the database.
(b) the Data Source connection points to the correct schema.
(c) Yes. The source is configured with a pool of outbound connections.
(d) and I have re-deployed the adapter.
Thank you
Tanay
