Max "a calendar/Vobs" on a DVD...

Hey all,.

are built by a Playlists... because I have to change several tidbits in each film.

Right now, the project has 120 timelines... but everything working in preview.

IAM wondering, if it is possible I have used a lot of time? I ve had read somewhere, that the maximum is 99?

There is also a lot of subtitles (also 5 languages)

any help/advice are welcome

Welcome, Benni

  • Why is out CPU maxing out at 100% when burning DVDs?

I bought the first 13 items yesterday and got my dvd ready to go. I started burning today and it's been over an hour and still the treatment, it may have taken 1.5 hours total. You try to run photoshop at the same time was very slow photoshop so I checked the resources I've seen the first was using 99% of my cpu, even after the closure of photoshop. When the screenshot was taken, it's 93% encoding and down a little. I have a 3.4gz i3 dual core and have never seen it go above 50% and even that was just a tip. The system has also 8 GB of ddr3 ram on windows 7 64 bit.

Burning DVDs seems to be made but the program responds, it is now fluctuating between 0 and 5% of my cpu, but is still not responding do not. It doesn't have the program not responding, frozen error and I wonder if it is fired.

Thanks for the reply and in view of the comments.

Please stay with the option 'Fit content space' with a check mark next to it.

The only time where I disable that option by removing this box is when I get an error of data rate that forces me to remove this box so that I can manually adjust the flow to lower the value to enable the process to proceed.

783 MB to 1.69 Mbps (megabits per second) is certainly the game of bitrate more low quality. The maximum bit rate in Premiere Elements burn on is 8,00 Mbps.

If you are using a standard DVD disc (4.7 GB / 120 minutes), in reality, 4.7 GB 4.38 GB is the capacity of your drive. Premiere Elements burn on DVD using a variable bitrate, which means your Mbps max 8.00 will vary in DVD production.

If you see a No Disc error in the mixture, it's another question... There is a known error in 13/13.1, requiring the removal or disabling of the OldFilm.AEX file. It has been written here a lot.

    Local disk C

    Program Files

    Adobe

    Adobe Premiere Elements 13

    Plug-ins

    Commune

    NewBlue

and in NewBlue folder is the file OldFilm.AEX that you remove or disable renaming of OldFilm.AEX to OldFilm.AEXOLD.

So, please watch that, leave the check mark next to fit content space (if 8,00 Mbps is much less than 8.00, consider a Double DVD face single-layer (8.5 GB / 240 minutes, 7.95 GB actually).)

We will follow your progress. Any necessary clarification, please ask.

    Thank you.

I have a Portege M100 - and the CD-ROM drive does not work.

Whenever I put a disc in I can just hear the motor turn the disc, but the computer is not picking up the drive. Device Manager picks up flawless.

It doesn't seem to be any firmware for this sorting (or am I wrong).

  • WMP and VOB files through the web site

I created a web page that lists all my DVD backed up that I have on an external hard drive cover images and images of each cover is related to the first file VTS_01_1.VOB for this DVD.

I test page to see how it works for each device I have.  The page works perfectly with my tablet from Samsung, the player on the Tablet, I installed automatically go VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB and so on until the movie is done.

If I use my pc Windows 7 & IE, WMP will open and play the VTS_01_1.VOB and stop at the end of this file, how can I me WMP to continue to the next file automatically?

I tried also placed the file VIDEO_TS. IFO and VTS_01_0.IFO in the link, then my tablet will not play it and WMP will not open and it also plays.  When I use this link in IE I get a dialog box asking if I want to record or I opened, select open and WMP opens and then give me a message "the selected file has an extension (.)» IFO) that is not recognized by Windows Media Player, but the player may still be able to play. Because the...  Do you want the player to try to play this content? YES / NO.

I select YES and then I get a dialog box "WMP cannot play the file.  The player might not support the file type or does not support the codec used to compress the file.

So why WMP works if I double click on the file on the pc directly in the folder and not via the web page?

  • WMP will open the VTS_01_1.VOB and stop at the end of this file

I don't know if this is the place to post this question, but it's here.

I created a web page that lists the cover images all my DVDs that I have on an external hard drive and each cover image is related to the first file VTS_01_1.VOB for this DVD.

Personally, I would check the source code of the Web page of the first.

Paste the full path to the video_ts.ifo file in a new MS Word document and save it as htm.  Then run the file [it should open in your default browser], then right-click on the page and select view source.  Find the link - it should look like

    href ="... / SomeFolder/VIDEO_TS. IFO "> D:\SomeFolder/VIDEO_TS." IFO

assuming that D:\SomeFolder/video_ts.ifo is the text that is displayed for the link

Then go to your actual Web page and discover its source to verify that the link contains this model.

If the solution is not as simple as that, then you will need to post a question in the section Web & networks of this forum I don't know enough about writing for the Web page.

To increase the chances of getting there help please include a description of what happens when you try to click on the link - rather than 'will not work.

  • Pe11: DVD burning: bitrate?

Here, I noticed that you can't choose a flow for burning to dvd format (this is also my experience).

But is the bitrate PE11 uses?

I assume that's what variable so if the sequence is long bitrate will be lower?

But wat is the bitrate if you have Te footage of only 20 minutes?

    fredowww66

Premiere Elements has always had a setting flow max 8.00 Mbit/s in the dialog box burn quality area. This isn't my answer or an answer from someone else. It is the answer of the program.

This max 8.00 Mbps is for DVD 4.7 GB / 120 minutes, as well as if you use DVD 8.5 GB / 240 minutes. I can get into more details in this regard between and with "good content to the space available.

Here is the reading of properties watch MediaInfo of a typical DVD-VIDEO to DVD disc that I just created in another goal. I did not exceed the capacity of the disk, so the max flow showed burn 8,00 Mbit/s in the field of the quality of the dialog box before they hit the burn button. Note the display of bitrate for the video stream of the DVD-VIDEO. The results are typical and are less than 8.00 Mbps. try it. MediaInfo to make one of these readings can be obtained from

    http://MediaArea.NET/en/MediaInfo

The flow values indicated by MediaInfo are in Kbps (kilobits per second) and not Mbps (megabits per second). So to put it in perspective:

    7813 Kbps = 7.63 MB/s

    6955 kbit/s = 6.79 Mbps

Still, there is no possible throughput Mbit/s max 9 possible for DVD-VIDEO produced by Premiere Elements (this is stated in the dialog box burn quality area to burn to disk, or in the final product in which you can see using a variable bitrate).

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Variable_bitrate

Please consider and prove to yourself with the easy verification that I have suggested.

    Thank you.

  • Import of DVD

    Hello

I am trying to import some movies off DVD 10 PE home and I get an error message saying "the users have sufficient privileges to write to the destination folder or the folder is read-only.  As I am administrator on my PC and I am able to write other files in this folder I do not understand what to do next.  Any help would be appreciated.

Two good reasons to copy the VIDEO_TS folder with VOB files, is that playing a DVD in the Multi-lecteur much, much slower and also, because imported files are done via absolute links, DVD to be inserted, or VOB files will be shown as Offline Media.

In addition, while PrE will import 100% compatible DVD VOB, if this DVD was written by another software, or was performed on a DVR unit, then the first VOB can be incompatible DVD and it must then be ripped, use other software first.

  • Unable to Rip DVD

    CS4 under Vista

A friend asked me to make a few minor changes to a basketball video of his daughter who was made by his high school coach.  A couple of college coaches have asked for the video game.

I agreed to do it.  However, I was not able to get a usable out of the DVD file.  I tried to work directly with the VOB files but they either come into CS4 with the audio or the first VOB appears in the sequence than 15 second video.  When I look at the file on the hard drive, it seems to be a normal VOB to a DVD.  So, I tried DVD Shrink, DVD decrypt, Flaskmpeg, all without success.  This is the first time that I can remember not being able to get a file on a DVD.  I've probably done more than 50 of them in the past.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Dan

    Dan,

Thank you. That's what I assumed, as you had made no mention of "miniDVD" and have been very complete with your posts, but I just wanted to check.

That you have been successful with the DVD, but not the other, indicates a difference any. Maybe a different software was used for each? As there is not ONLY a lot of parameters available in the DVD authoring software, there are not many that the Editor could do to change things and always get a DVD-video. However, different authoring software can give different results, according to the strict how they are with the DVD specifications. If an employee and Roxio for one, then CyberLink for another, records resulting may be different, with different problems. Note: I just pulled these names for the space for example and have no direct experience with either. The two pourraient meet the DVD specifications. 100% - but not all programs do. If a DVR machine has been used in the workflow, and then they usually do not cause issues.

    Good luck

  • MORE THAN 1 DVD TO ADOBE PREMIERE PRO CS4 IMPORT?

WHEN I IMPORT A DVD VOB FILE (FOR EXAMPLE THE NAME OF THE 1ST FILE IS "VTS_01_1.VOB") SINCE A DVD EXISTING TO ADOBE PREMIERE PRO CS4, THIS I MUST LEAVE THIS DVD IN THE DVD PLAYER ALL THE TIME I'M CHANGING MY PROJECT?

THE PROBLEM IS THAT I HAVE 3 DIFFERENT DVDS AND THE TIME AFTER THAT I IMPORTED THE DVD VOB FILE AND THEN OPEN THE DRIVE TO PUT THE NEW DVD IN THE NEW FILE I NEED, THE PREVIOUS VOB FILES ALL DISAPPEAR AS IF THEY ARE DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE FIRST DVD WHERE THEY COME FROM.

CAN ADOBE PREMIERE PRO CS4 "REMEMBER" THE VOB FILE OF THE DVD THAT I IMPORTED?  THANKS FOR ANY HELP ON THIS...

One thing I note is that when you import assets into a project, they have not imported from this asset, but only to put in place a link to it, where she resided, when importation was made. The project file (PRPROJ) is only a database of XML links and instructions. There is no active (media files) in it. They must be available for the system and must be kept in the same exact spot on the system, i.e. do not move, rename or delete multimedia files, until you are sure you have finished 100%.

Good luck and just copy all the VOB on HARD disk before importing. Import these copies and keep them in the same place.

  • VOB files - CS4 v 4.2 (Windows and Mac)

We have a situation where we must support the workflow of the customer no matter how much we recommended different cameras.

Consult us for a major research company.  They have equipped their researchers field - with cheap video directly to the camcorder DVD to save their data in the field.

They send these DVDs or the office, who wants to download the images so that the timecode can be superimposed, then returned to seniors who will use the timecode to dictate change decisions.

My client bought CS4 at my suggestion because of the timecode filter, its integration with other Adobe products and export Flash capabilities.

This morning, we tried to import a vob file of 3 minutes of a Video TS on a superb record in first.  Only 6 seconds of this 3 minute file came in.

It was on the Mac platform - my liaison officer at the client level has had the same experience with the version of Windows.

Using the same file, I downloaded and installed first Elements 8 - trial version and he correctly read the clip in a file of 3 minutes.  I could not export well, and I guess it is because it is the edition of the trial and not complete.  Of course the elements will overlap not timecode if it is not a complete solution.

CS4 claims to support VOB, I think maybe that is not, at least not entirely.  Am I missing something?

I also converted the VOB file, successfully with Mpeg Streamclip, then imported into CS4, successfully - but, my client is very adamant that they do not want a workflow with another application between the two.

They use the wrong with a wrong size equipment, and we try to find the least complicated way to support them.  They will not reverse their located on the camera because they are inexpensive.

Any suggestions are appreciated to work directly with the vob files, even if you reinforce what I already have.

Here's something to try with MPEG Streamclip:

    1. Rip your VOBs off the DVD and open one in MPEG Streamclip (in fact, you might not even need to rip; just use the command "Open DVD")
    2. Loading the VOB, go to Edition > difficulty timecode breaks, or press Cmd + F (I think it's Cmd - I'm on a PC, and it's Ctrl here)
    3. Click on the checkbox "do not skip any image" and hit continue. Wait until the process is completed.
    4. You have a few options on how to handle the file from here, but for now, select file > convert to MPEG format. Name your file and click Save. Despite the name of the command, avoid any 'conversion' which passes - it should just wrap the VOB as a MPG.
    5. When all this is done, try to import the MPG in the first and let us know what happened. Another thing, you can try in MPEG Streamclip, if this does not work, is to go to the window > Preferences, check the box "Fix streams with data breaks" and then try to go through the steps above again.

    Hi, bobfromhampton berries!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. After reading your post, I understand that your MacBook Pro is not on as planned; the MagSafe power adapter displays a green light, but the computer itself will not feed. I rely on my Mac every day, so I definitely want to make sure that yours does not work as expected.

Reset the SMC has been a great step in this situation. Since it did not help to get power from the computer, I recommend you put the computer in a service provider authorized Apple or Apple Retail Store for an inspection. Hello

The speed of combustion depends on different factors.
Of course, eventually the reader is able to burn some 16 x media but in my opinion, it is not possible to burn with 16 x media.

You must discern between the + and the media, Rom, R and RW.
In addition, the various media from different manufacturers also supports different burning speeds. As applications of combustion control the burning speed and detect the optimal speed.

As you can see the burn speed depends on many factors.

In fact... Since all you have is the DVD finished... it
may be easier to recreate the whole project.

For re - edit the best bet is the project .mswmm file.
It is created when you go to... File / save project.

Second best would be to publish (save project)
in a folder on your hard disk in the the.wmv or .avi format...
This could be re-imported in Movie Maker in video format.

In this case you will need to convert the. VOB files into one
