  You can import new items as specific items, and later, when you update your sidecar.xml you put in an empty folder with nothing else inside and then import "several items" on this issue. It works fast, no crash at all.

  There is nothing built in DPS in support, and no fact sheets or articles on the local device are available. You must maintain your own searchable database, and access them from your custom store. For example, you might have a database with metadata on your slips, articles, authors, etc. and can return the results of the search drive.

Question is how we can reload items in "folio" Android? I mean without the buttons dedicated inside articles. Is this possible?

  This is not possible with Android (or Windows) viewers with Digital Publishing Suite. In 2015, DPS, you can build an application and set on each collection if you want the playback position of items to remember. If you need to disable the memory of reading position I suggest creating an application of DPS 2015 instead.

  I'm creating an application with 10 items as part of a folio.  Nine of the items work very well in 1024 x 768 (snap style) several sections of the page.  However, an article would be easier if it is a good article vertical scrolling.  Possible to have both types of items in a folio?  When I try this and try to update the article on the ipad, the folio will never update.  For example, I create article smooth scrolling in InDesign to 1024 x 3500 pixel, save and add an article.  The article is added to the constructor of the folio on display as well as the producer of folio online, but I can't see the article on the ipad. Y at - it something I am doing wrong?

  My guess is that when you use the Add button to create the article 1024 x 3500, InDesign is treat as a layout portrait because it is wider than high. To work around this problem, use the import command to import the stack of smooth scrolling.

  The Viewer does not download a single file, which is a folio in one package.  The .folio is just a bunch of containers used in the publication process.  Download of real content, viewers download the content of the .folio in some regions, separate download which are reassembled when rendering on the Viewer.  That's what makes it easy to display a Folio, while the download is running, with other items of the folio that appears once the parties have been downloaded.  There is no file extension 'magical', you can monitor your network traffic.

  Oke, thanks. I think I need to manage pages in another document (book), so I can export it as an interactive PDF. I loved the movement of pages by using folio Builder. By chapter, I can go down and the next chapter is right. Is it possible to have that in an interactive PDF? And you know an easy way to copy and paste objects in the statutes of the folio to a new document. Items of the folio are much larger than a normal A4...

When I look at the magazine in the content viewer that everything works for all devices; but when I publish, I have a problem, whne I open the application and download the content on tablets Android and smartphones.   I made contact with Flavia and tested it. For the benefit of all, it seems to be a specific problem of the 31.x. We tested this in the last spectator Android 32.4 and everything works fine.
