Maximum length of the Member

Hello:
Please, I need to know the maximum length in characters for a member in Essbase 6.5.1. The manual States 30 characters, but the contour seems to accept 80. Can I find any problem if I use more than 30 characters?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Joaquin Castellano

Hi KIM,

Member max length is 80 char, so that you can give more than 30 tank but shall not exceed 80 tank.
hope you guessed it.

    Hi Srikkanth

    It should be the reverse - find the length, not the length of the maximum value. Maximum based its value on the fate of the ascii, not the length...

    CREATE TABLE dt_TEST
    (text VARCHAR2(100))
    /
    INSERT INTO dt_test VALUES('AA')
    /
    INSERT INTO dt_test VALUES('z')
    /
    SELECT LENGTH(MAX(text)),max(length(text)) FROM dt_test

  • Maximum length of the SQL command

    I created a MySQL database and a LabView 8.6 application that inserts data into the database using the SQL Toolbox.  I have a problem very long character data insertion in a LONGTEXT field.  I determined that the problem occurs when the SQL command is more than 1 048 574 characters or the length of a particular field exceeds 1 048 326 characters (cannot say who).

    The error I get is "error-2147467259 occurred at NI_Database_API.lvlib:Conn Execute.vi.  "Exception occurred in the Microsoft OLE DB provider for ODBC drivers: [MySQL] [ODBC 5.1 Driver] [mysqld - 5.1.35 - community] MySQL version disappeared in NI_Database_API.lvlib:Conn Execute.vi.

    According to the MYSQL documentation, a LONGTEXT can 4294967295 characters, so length shouldn't be a problem.  The documentation also indicates "the effective maximum length of LONGTEXT columns also depends on the maximum packet size that is configured in the client/server protocol and available memory", but I don't know how to configure the packet size in LabView.

    I enclose the code example that reproduces the problem, although it is based on a special run table structure effectively.  The table definition is included on the diagram.

    This setting must be configured outside of LabVIEW (UDL or DSN).

    You must configure the server and the client:

    I found this link while searching on stackoverflow

    http://dev.MySQL.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/packet-too-large.html

    You may need to select/Configure a specific vendor (different) in order to set this variable.

  • maximum length of the PDM file

    Hi amazing if I could be a good idea, really cannot relearn the hard way!

    If we record to 500kS/s PDM file, is there a length/size, after which data are not added in the PDM columns more? Or he keeps the connection until windows launches the message that the system is out of memory?

    Thank you very much

    I guess it's the limitations of file system. For example, you use FAT32 if 4 GB maximum file size. If you are using NTFS, it should be 16TB (!).

The issue I'm facing is that first, the length of the string is zero and the condition never gets satisfied. Ideas and help is appreciated!

    For some reason, when I try to put a select statement for the cursor, it won't let me save the message. Very strange. Anyway, is a simple query for the select statement.
    declare
      t_student_info_exists     varchar2(1);
      t_student_id              varchar2(1);
      t_student_id_concat       varchar2(200);

    begin
      open  c_student;
      loop
        fetch c_student_id into t_student_info_exists, t_student_id;
        exit when c_student_id%NOTFOUND;

        if length(t_student_id_concat) <= 200 then
          t_student_id_concat := t_student_id ||'/'||t_student_id_concat;
        else
          t_student_id_concat := substr(t_student_id_concat, 1, 200);
        end if;
      end loop;
      close c_student;

      return t_student_id_concat;
    end;

    if t_student_id_concat IS NULL OR length(t_student_id_concat) < 199 then

    should do it. Please make sure you are using < rather than < =.

  • Length of the cable antenna WAP200E

    Does anyone know the maximum length of the cable rg-58 50 ohm for a WAP 200 E for an antenna HGA9N? I would use a length of 50-65 ft in the air. The room of 5 ' that comes with the antenna works well, something more provides no signal to the antenna and does not seem to turn off the internal antenna.

    With the configuration of e-mail for notifications, be warned with the 5 ft length is connected and disconnected, but not with the length of 50-65. Cable was out ohm, double checked, had a talking too, etc.  Have updated the firmware on the WAP200E to 1.20 also.

    Have I run a length of cable, or do I have to climb the WAP200E and HGA9N with the length of 5 feet and run say a 50-65 ft cat 5 to the router? (wrt54g2).

    As I understand, WAP200E was designed for working outdoors. You need to mount this outdoor access point and simply run cable to your router. In this case, you can directly connect the antenna to gain high directly to the access point.

    In short, no need to 5 ' or 56 ft RG 8 cable. What you need is a 56 ft (CAT-5) ethernet cable to the access point in the network.

    Another thing you can try, you can avoid RG8 5 connecting cable and instead connect your antenna to gain high directly to the access point. This would reduce the loss of signal that will perform in a cable RG8. You can only add additional 5 ft cable CAT 5 for a total of 61 feet of CAT 5 cable to meet your requirements.

  • Field in the data file exceeds the maximum length - CTL file error

    Hello

    I suspect it's because of the construction in default length of character in sqldr data types - char (255) must take no notice of what the definition of the current table is by default.

    Try adding CHAR (2000), to your controlfile so you end up with something like this:

    OPTIONS (SKIP = 2)

    DOWNLOAD THE DATA

    CHARACTERSET WE8ISO8859P1

    INFILE '$FILE '.

    ADD

    IN THE TABLE "XXDM_DM_17_ONACCOUNT_REC_SRC".

    WHEN (1)! = 'FOOTER ='

    FIELDS TERMINATED BY ' |'

    SURROUNDED OF POSSIBLY "" "

    TRAILING NULLCOLS)

    ,

    ,

    COMMENTS TANK (2000).

    ,

    )

    See you soon,.
