  Whenever I try to use Cinema 4 d Lite, I agreed to the request, but cannot make changes without crashing. I tried either by creating a file using file > new > Maxon Cinema 4 d file, or creating a 3d model in AE, Cinema 4 d Lite, export import and going in Edit > Edit original.   Hello everyone. I work on a project after effects CC and was reading about the integration of Maxon Cinema 4 d Lite. I wanted to try to make my diamond 2D in a 3D model and it seemed the perfect application to do. Unfortunately, every time I open the program (I have tried via file - new - Maxon Cinema... and layer - new - Maxon Cinema queue... and even once a file is created on the technical side, I tried to go to "first edition". I also tried to export something else like a Maxon Cinema file and then import to see if it would work), it does not work.

  Basically, since test #1 the program doesn't seem to be grateful that my mouse clicks. As soon as I click on a menu, as it goes. I can hold down the mouse button, but then I can't select anything on the menu. I did all the updates on all the software, rebooted, shut down, cleaned cache, etc. etc. There was one thing that worked, but it worked for one click at a time! I found that if I found the application file in my files program (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe after effects CC\Support Files\Plug - ins\MAXON CINEWARE AE\(CINEWARE Support)\lite)...if I have Cinema 4d open, and I double click on the.exe file like I'm trying to launch the program, then the program will recognize one mouse click.)   I had this error in after effects CC, as a result of an update.

  "Go in the effect controls panel and click Cineware Options

  Under the TCP CINEWARE PORT mine has been set at 5030 and I changed it to 5027, and now I see my CD4 layer in AE"

• Cineware abnormally slow Plugin - After Effects CC 2015

  Hi all, I wanted to start to learn the basics of the Cineware plugin and c4d layers, but I have a problem HUGE here, which I have found no solution online yet...

  Here's what I'm doing to encounter the problem:

  1. I have create a new publication, let's just 800 x 600, 10 frames per second, resolution on the quarter, no rendering drawn with RADIUS.
  2. I then proceed to create a NEW MAXON CINEMA 4 d FILE, save the file and it takes already some 40 seconds just to see the C4D splash screen (note that I'm working on a SSD drive, see below for the complete specifications). The sensors indicate ANY ACTIVITY CPU/GPU.
  3. Now, in C4D I just create a new cube, nothing complex and save the file.
  4. When I jump in AE, I get another 30 to 40 seconds of the spin of the wheel of the Rainbow, the sensors always indicate ANY ACTIVITY CPU/GPU.
  5. Drag & drop the c4d freshly created on the model file and guess what? WHEEL which TURNS once AGAIN, at this point I didn't even count the seconds, that's long enough anyway.
  6. Now I see my wonderful cube on the computer, but when I move the playhead anywhere else, I get an another loooong wait time.

  I tried with parameters different comp, tried all the settings in the plugin cineware, tried on CC2014 and CC2015, tried to wipe the preferences, update Lite Cinema4D. All I get just by turning balloons Rainbow beach.

  This who can I try to fix this?

  Here are my system specs.

  

  Update to Mac OS x v10.10.4. Apple has fixed some bugs of TCP connections in this update.

• Trying to work with C4D Lite and get an error on the size of the layer

  Although I worked with AE for a few years, this is the first time I tried to work with Lite C4D and obj. When I try to work with a C4D file I get this error: size of layer must match Composition and use default values for transformation.

  Here are the steps I take:

  1. Create a new comp (1920 x 1080, square pixels)
  2. In AE, file > new > file of Maxon Cinema 4 d
  3. Name the file and it will open in C4D
  4. In C4D: File > merge
  5. Navigate to and select the file OBJ, which appears in the interface of C4D
  6. File > save
  7. In AE (window project): drag the file C4D for the button create new Comp
  8. When I try to do anything with the comp I get the above error.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  You can set the resolution in the C4D render settings. By default, it is set to 800 x 600. Read the help.
