MC Listbox Visual drag-and - drop your comments

The first part shows a VI editing mode (only not running).

Notice how the target Listbox displays a gray line highlight between the rows, where the new lines will be inserted.

IT IS FEEDBACK VISUAL I WANT.

However, when I RUN the VI, I can't this visual cue.

I can drag a NUMBER or a STRING or a LISTBOX ELEMENT to the target Listbox.

I can do the code do what I want, but I do not see how this visual effect.

How can I do?

What you notice is something that many people have found problems with in the past.  If it is not possible to directly program LabVIEW imitate what you see then in the mode of development and does not work, it may be possible to programmatically determine the end of the transaction slip.  Here is a link to a knowledge base that describes this better:

    No, I'm afraid there is no magical flag

    That said, I think it's a little better than what you have outlined. If you use the MDRI * set of objects, you override just Track (tracker IADMTracker) on the IADMHierarchyListEntry (as opposed to the IADMHierarchyList). If you do not, it'll still be the proc Track() on entry, not in the list, so that you always know which entry of the event began-the easy part. Everything else, basically to do yourself so, Yes. Here is roughly what I do:

    On mouse down, use PickLeafEntry (click) to figure out what clicked. I do a quick check at this stage to ensure that the click is not on the arrow of the expansion, but you probably haven't this problem if you use this for a straight up list box. Determine if the user has clicked entry is draggable; If so, set a flag that says "drag underway".

    Then, when intercept you the moving events, make something similar and determine which input you are hovering above. You can do things like set a flag on this entry when his drawn it looks different. Just make sure that when you hover over the following keep you a reference any to it so you can clear the said flag when you hover over again somewhere else, you want to probably check whether or not the entry in question is a viable drop target and you can attract once again, the entry on different.

    Finally, you enter the high action. Once more, I uses the location of the click to determine who it is and if it is a viable choice (you can always bail if you must!). Can I get a list of selected items and it's my list slipped.

    Now, if you do order it again, you will need to find tune elsewhere a little, since you will probably want to choose your "target" as "seams" between the elements, rather than elements, and you can not use the PickLeafEntry to do it - you can always convert the click for global or local coordinates and use it to know exactly where you are compared to the borders of the entry (for example within 5px or not).

    One last note: scrolling. Ugh, it's a pain in the *. In the action move I determine if I am near the top or bottom of the list and so I begin to scroll in the appropriate direction. I begin to scroll using a timer. I put the enum direction and activate the timer. In the callback, I check the direction and move up to an entry. The thing to do to go faster or slower is to adjust the length of the timer, based on how far above or below the mouse is the edge of the list box. I have a maximum and minimum range for the period, and whenever the scroll of the pulse timer, I recalulate his period and restart (after scrolling). In this way, it speeds up or slows down while you adjust your position. Yes, it's a lot of work, but I must admit, its pretty slick when its right.

  • Schools in class drag and drop printing patterns, not allowing me to drag-and - drop!

    I have LR 5.7 and bought print templates of Coles in class, a Communicator, respected and well-known photography on the web. The models are supposed to be drag and drop (from the film). then when they are installed and you choose a template in the print Module in custom templates, you can simply drag and drop your images directly in the model in the main window.

    Unfortunately, I can't do it. Models are there, they are installed properly in LR and I can click and bring up all the different models (there are many). But I can't seem to pick up and drag images into the model of the film, as shown and described by Cole in his video tutorials. It seems there was little problem of anyone with these models and it is a problem that Cole himself has never met before. He said 'turning normal and turns off again' what I did and had no effect. I uninstalled and reinstalled the models and it has no effect. I cannot yet pick up and drag images from the film on the bottom in the model.

    I have not tried a huge amount to remedy this that frankly, I don't really know where to start. But just try to find the problem, I found that when I clicked on the Picture Package, at the top of the column on the right in the print module, ALL of my images from my collection have already been put in separate models for each image. As I've never really used before printing module, I don't know if this has an effect on me to be able to drag and drop in a different package and so to stop me to do?

    These models were expensive and it seems I'm the only person who seems to have had this problem with them. Is there something I need to turn it on, or move or change for me to enable drag and drop images, or am on a loser with this one?

    Sorry for the long post, but to a loss complete as to what this might be?

    I don't know about your models, but in general, you need to drop by the image , not its surroundings of the border.

  • Drag and drop query

    I wonder if someone can help me with my dilemma.

    I make a movie that allows the user to drag a huge image around a small stage. My problem is that I don't want the image of being dragged off the stage.

    I tried to add arguments to the startDrag() function by putting in coordinates, but is not at work. I think it is because the image is much larger than the stage. Any suggestions

  • Captivate 8 Drag and Drop several legends of text for your comments

    I am creating an interaction with an element with which the learner can drag for four different images representing the different categories of data classification.  The idea of the interaction is for the learner to discover each of the four different categories, by trial and error.    I want them to provide comments through text captions that the answer is right or wrong, but each piece of comments will be different and the user should be able to drag the item several times until they found the right answer.  I can't fwork how to do this.

    I just upgraded to Captivate 8 week last, after having previously used Captivate 5.   Therefore, I've never used the installation drag - d├⌐poser and I don't know if he's going to do what I'm trying to achieve or if it's something I could achieve with shares advanced instead, or if it is not possible to do. I tried searching for similar topics, but either did not understand the answer or scenarios seemed different.  I don't really know where everything is still 8 Captivate, and while I have used certain actions in Captivate 5 tip, I'm not that comfortable with them, so simple is good.  The interaction doesn't have to be reported on.

    Is anyone able to help me please?

    According to my understanding, you have a source element that can drag and drop on 4 different targets (different images). For every drop of a sort of legend should appear on stage the feedback to the corresponding user from the target source. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

    This can be achieved with Drag and drop interaction.

    1. Insert the source 4times and overlap each other (since you can drag and drop 1 number 4 times, you must have this element to work as a source of slippage 4 up to 4 items).

    2. make the 4 elements as drag source and group them into a single type. (With the help of add option)

    3. you have your 4 images on stage and Mark as targets of drag.

    4. Insert the rear power legends and put them near their targets. Disable their 'Visible output' flag on Bill pro forma.

    5. now match the Correct ANS on stage.i.e of one of the source type to a target correct years.

    6. Select each target and open their box "Actions of the object". (from Panel drag / move)

    7. uncheck the ' accept all the ' option and the value of count 1. Add the action of 'travel' to show their legends of Feedback now under Drag source Type. (which were hidden). This should be through "Advanced Actions.

    8. now after for each target open the dialog box 'Good years' drag and drop the Panel. (it will be under options and so visible from the source or target is selected)

    9. here under the table, you can see that the value of count is 4. This is to reduce the value to 1. (double-click to change)

    Interaction is now ready. Please don't answer if that's what you wanted to achieve and if you do all the steps above.

    It is not unstraightforward.  Shift register keeps the value of the listbox on departure of drag (ie. the index of the item).

  • Text comments for support of Drag and Drop Interaction

    I developed a drag and drop interaction that works well, the problem is with the behavior of the reset button send.

    If the objects of slide 'proper' are on the 'right' target - no problem

    The problem is if a combination of drag-and-drop 'wrong' is selected, displays the text 'wrong' feedback and the reset button moves all drag the object to the starting position, but once that the 'good' drag drop combination is submitted, the 'wrong' feedback text appears.

  • Several monitors, drag and drop questions

    Windows 7 Edition Home Premium. Running two monitors with extended desktop. With several windows open, I try to drag and drop items between windows, to move files or to copy text from one place to another, for example. After that selection is made, as soon as I move the mouse to drag, all windows size, shift to different areas of the desktop (s) to decrease and darkens slightly. The mouse arrow becomes a crossed circle.

    I tried using a non Aero theme without effect and am unsure if this is a windows problem, a problem of mouse or a monitor problem. I also made changes but advanced Visual effects, that does not work. In this screenshot, the Firefox window is full-screen on the right monitor, Thunderbird is full screen on the left and the other windows are different sizes on both. I am trying to drag and drop a few folders and that's what I have.

    I was able to troubleshoot and resolve this problem on mine. He was unrelated to monitors, etc.

    The unusual behavior occurred during left click drag and drop operations. Using a different mouse, I found normal operations. After some research, I found a dark environment on a Logitech mouse. Using setpoint, I disabled the application switcher function and monitor / several window performance and behavior returns to normal.

  • Drag and drop the LARGE icons

    When I drag and drop a file or a folder in an Explorer window, the icon attached to the mouse pointer is HUGE and gene to see where I am a fall! Is it possible to change this behavior?

    Thank you, Andre. What seems to do is change the appearance of a window of the Explorer when it is moved - it makes the contents of a window disappear until you drop it somewhere. I am concerned mainly with the HUGE icon that appears when I right-click on one or more files and then try to have them slide somewhere. The large icon, it is difficult to see where I am dragging to. For example, if I want to move a file in a specific folder it makes it difficult to read the folder I want to put the file.

    Using your tip, I found a solution that works for me, but maybe not to everyone's taste. If you go to advanced system settings > performance > settings then uncheck "Use Visual styles on windows and buttons" makes things look more like Windows XP. I prefer the simple XP look in any case so that the solution works for me. The icon HUGE should simply be part of the visual style Windows 7 - I couldn't find any other way to change this.

    Organize and rearrange the images in a folder named as in XP. You could organize by date, size, etc. and do drag and drop all in a folder, it is not possible in Windows 7

    You can't manually rearrange files/images by dragging them in the folder in Windows 7. This change is design in Windows 7.

    If you are referring to the reorganize by date, size, etc. then you can always do than simply right click and selecting the option of sort by in the drop-down list when it appears in the photo or file folder.

  • Prelude, drag and drop from the Finder

    Would be nice if we had the ability to simply drag and drop a file in the dialog box to ingest finder to automatically point to this folder.

    Most mac programs have this feature, but I do not see it in the prelude.

    This would save a lot of time since the workflow that some of us uses have subdirectories after subdirectories which end up hold our images.

    If I understand correctly, you are browsing the necessary files/folders with finder and then I want to drag-drop to Ingest window and check the files in the capture Panel.

    The same browsing experience is available in the window to ingest itself on the left side. You can browse all the files on your Mac with this and check files for ingest Ingesting/biased.

    Although it will be interesting to see the folders being directly drag after search in the Finder, but overall, it would be more or less even if the navigation is to ingest.

    This slide drag & drop is set up as a question slide? The variable cpInReviewMode system is generally set to 1 for the quiz, when the user clicks on the review of the score slide.

    I suspect, didn't check that the Pause command is causing issues. This means that the read head stop on enter, maybe no time to show the hidden comments. I guess dd1's "feedback" that has been configured to be invisible in the output? You can try taking the Pause command? You can increase the duration of the slide or add a button with a break at the end of the slide. Of course, if you do not want to have a double Quiz time pauzé, this pause should be at the same time as the normal Submit button of D & D (1.5secs is the default value), and the next button can be made visible during the review with your conditional action.
