Media Encoder CC made adjustment layer separately

I just bought a new Mac Pro with all the goodies there were available and I now want to use as the central Mac to export from Premiere Pro sequences.

We work from a central server which has all the projects on him. Our different staff here to sit behind their Macs and open projects from the server.

I have set up SOUL on the Mac Pro to check a record shows Final Cut XML which my colleagues export from their Mac the problem is that every time that

It is an adjustment layer in a sequence... SOUL that exports separately from the rest of the sequence. How to export only the sequence with

the inside adjustment layer?

Thank you!

Adjustment layers are not supported for XML FCP so it would never work unfortunately. I don't see the problem you describe well how the adjustment layer is interpreted varies depending on whether you have exported the sequence or the project However, the point is irrelevant since the adjustment layer will never properly no matter how export you the XML file.

  • Adobe Media Encoder Cup video when layer effect of Ultra masking is applied

I work on a Mac (10.8.5) using the latest version of first Pro CC. I use the Ultra key to remove the bottom keys of saturation of the layer of "talent" and adding a new "background layer" behind the video layer of talent. When I export directly from first, the sequence of exports as expected. However, I have several sequences and wants to speed up the process using Adobe Media Encoder. When I export the same sequence using Adobe Media Encoder, half top of the layer of "talent" is completely cut off:

    Screen Shot 2014-02-03 at 3.21.33 PM.png

The question has something to do with the Ultra key effect because when I remove the effect of the layer of "talents" exports in tact (with a key background chroma, of course). Adobe Media Encoder CC is up-to-date are there the known bugs with Media Encoder CC and the Ultra masking effect in Premiere Pro?

I have a problem with Adobe Media Encoder.

I tried rendering on a 03:14 video .mp4 (Youtube 1080 p) and Facbeook 720 p presets and is not make properly. The audio is always completely silent, and among the adjustment layers is rendered.

So, it looks like a bug with the race on text rendering in Media Encoder:

    • OSX

    • Media Encoder 2015.0.1, build 9.0.1.29

  • 'Error compilation film unknown error' made or export in first or Media Encoder or

    Hi all

I'll have made troubled and the export of which certainly is a sequence quite complex 2.5 hours of first CC 2015 and Media Encoder. I'll describe the problem, then provide my card, then describe my attempts so far solutions:

    1. The problem: try to make my outside sequence gives the error "error compiling Movie. Unkown Error"at irregular intervals, sometimes after 10 seconds and sometimes after 10 minutes of rendering. It occurs also when rendering of three subsequences that he content and when expporting media first or Media Encoder.
    2. My specs:

Material - I am on Windows 10 x 64-bit on a desktop computer custom built with MSI AM3 + configuration motherboard with an AMD FX6350 3.9 GHz processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 2 GB AMD Radeon R9 380 graphics card, all current drivers.

Software - creation and Media Encoder are defined to use the reading Mercury (GPU acceleration) engine and the composite linear color, and are both set to update to version updated for release 2015 CC.
Sequence - I'm editing in square pixels of 1080 p AVCHD, 29.97 frames/second, 48000 Hz sampling frequency, using the only i-Frame MPEG video previews. My sequence has three subsequences, all of them contain a multicam pulling three video sources synchronized sequence (it is a composite event that was recorded live). I export in H.264 MP4 @ 10-12 Mbps with 'Match sequence settings' for the framerate, bitrate and size of the image.

    3. My attempted Solutions: , I started with the basics... Clear your cache of media, delete make files and files video preview, flatten your blocking sequences, export each subsequence individually, create a new project and import the old sequences, all this, trying to render and export between each of these steps. Frankly, I'm bad-shot in the gut. I desperately need to export this sequence successfully and there deliver my video to an audience online and from there, also create versions for DVD and Blu - Ray.

I'm just wishing so bad for an error code, a clip defective to be identified somewhere, an Executive responsible for headaches, something. Something besides, 'film compilation error. Unknown error. »

Grateful for any help offered by the community of users of wonderful to Adobe Premiere Pro.

    Hi Nathan,

Sorry for your troubles. Looks like you have a sequence that should be able to be exported, but can't. To add to your frustration, the warning dialog box has no clue as to what is the error. With what is happening at random intervals, it is really difficult to solve.

For the latter, the next release of Premiere Pro's warnings more explicit. This update is coming soon. In the meantime, let's work on the export of this sequence.

Firstly, log a case with support. Here are the details on how to contact them.

The first thing to look at is your system, I would say. It looks up to the requirements of the standard, however, it is quite a long sequence. If you have lots of GPU based effects and/or Lumetri effects, your VRAM might be out of memory, cancelling export and crashing with error compilation Movie.

If it was me, my prime suspect. How do you work around that? Avoiding the GPU? In fact, Yes. It will take time for export, most certainly. This could take days. Not much you can do, unfortunately, unless you muscle your hardware. Currently, my guess is that your GPU is probably not powerful enough for what you want to do. In the project settings > general switch to software only.

Can you avoid this in the future? Yes, with a different workflow what smart favours rendered instead of make or export at the same time with GPU based effects.

This means that you'd have to transcode the AVCHD video to a codec chip to make and restore the effects along the way in this same codec. At the time wherever you export, you are not typing the GPU because you use files preview instead.

  • Random audio added at the end of the videos made in Media Encoder

I am facing a problem with Media Encoder.  When I export first to Media Encoder it is a random audio presentation of the timeline text ends at the end of the video when played. First of all, it happened to me while he was working as an editor in a production House last week. I had to export directly from first thing this text of presentation audio random in music or talk would end at the last second or two to make it final. They were running the latest versions of first and Media Encoder. Now, work at home on my desk, I find the same thing is happening on a completely independent project. AND it started a few days ago when I updated last update as well on both programs. If I export directly from first, the video is very good. If I export with Media Encoder, the audio presentation text is at the end of the video most of the time. Anyone who knows this?

One of the things I love about CC is the ability to export all working. Something you could not do with the suites of the FCP and Avid, I had worked with in the past. But now I can't export and continue working because Media Encoder does not work properly. I repeat that this is not an isolated experience, because it took place on two separate Macs and age different OS systems.

My problem seems to be resolved once make the updated Media Encoder AND rebooted my system. I would log in your Adobe Manager and check to ensure you have LATER I have although I did, but didn't. Even the 'compilation error' has disappeared. Don't forget to restart. I know that many stores never turn off their workstations. I do it every night. They ARE machines after all and wear if you let them all the time. But it is another forum that I will go down. Laughing out loud!

  • Adobe Media Encoder problem suddenly made with CL open

After update for first Pro CC 2015.1 - 9.1.0 (174) man and Media Encoder 2015.1 Build 9.1.0.163 I am facing a problem of rendering to H.264 format. I get the message "error compiling Movie - unknown error". However, when I spend "Mercury Playback Engine (OpenCL) GPU acceleration" to "Mercury Playback Engine software" only the same images makes it flawless. Of course, it takes about twice as long. Even abroad, the same images will make to ProRes using GPU acceleration. Here's my hardware features:

iMac (retina 5K, 27 inches, end of 2014)

Intel Core i7 4 GHz processor

    Memory 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics card AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB

    OS X 10.10.4

I tried rendering on another drive and the same failure occurs. I tried to export directly from Premiere Pro and the same thing happens.

    Any thoughts?

    Workaround solution discovered!

I went through the clouds creative and found that I could turn the clock back to the latest version (December 2015) SOUL the previous SOUL CC 9.0.0.222 CC. (It's a bit buried in 'Previous Versions') Automatically downloading trashes newest version and install the other oldest.

I threw the last first Pro CC - 2015.1 9.1.0 174 (Build). I chose the same piece of the timeline to compress with the same parameters of H.264 which had been at fault, he gives and launched SOUL 9.0.0.222 changed the rendering engine to the Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration, started the render and crossed my fingers. (I didn't hold my breath.) I was 39 minutes of video).

    And it worked!

I had not changed anything else. I'll do some additional testing, but for now - because of the length to make it - I'm sure that this workaround is solid. The tricky part is to find the old version of SOUL on creative cloud.

  • Made in Media Encoder from After Effects is 8 x slower than to Premiere Pro

Rendering H.264 of AEX by SOUL is round about 8 x slower that make the same file (wihtout any effects applied) of the BODY through Media Encoder with the same characteristics. I can monitor that there is a significant difference in the use of the processor between the two methods. Any tips?

  • Media Encoder gives "error screen" -?

I am somewhat a novice with AE, but I use it to compose 3D makes in simple animations of DPX 16-bit sequences. I've done this hundreds of times, with no problems whatsoever.

Today, I encounter a weird error for the first time, with Media Encoder.

I have two sets of sequences, placed in the AE on separate layers. It has previewed perfectly.

But when I go into Media Encoder, the second sequence does not appear in the final rendering. Instead, I get THIS SCREEN:

    Screen Shot 2015-11-20 at 8.53.06 AM.png

(Note the AI 'After' insert makes it very well, but the animation itself is MISSING). I know the dpx sequence is there, because I made via Media Encoder a few minutes before it happened. I tried to re - make, but I get the same result every time. The "tmpAEtoAMEProject", said that the second sequence is missing. But it IS in the composition of EI.

I deleted the second sequence and reloaded it in AE, place it in the same layer as before. Yet once, as usual, he presented in preview at AE perfectly. But when I make it in ME, I get the SAME ERROR!

I have scanned the manual Ref 2015, but so far have not been able to find out what goes wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  :+)

    Thank you.

    I never give up.  :+)

  • Media Encoder CC 2015 not rendered effects Lumetri

    Mac OS 10.10.3

    Mac Pro 2013 2.7 Ghz 12-core

    64 GB 1866 MHz DDR3 ECC

    AMD over-pants D700 6144 MB

Ive tried the following with Red Raw, Pro Res and sequences .mp4.  If I add a color Lumetri effect to a clip or the adjustment layer and the timeline for Media queue encode, no effect of color do not appear on the final compressed file. The only way to achieve the effect of color is displayed is around compressor media entirely and export directly from first, which would prevent me from working on the front. It's one of the many questions, I had with this VERY buggy release. Anyone else having this problem?

  • Exclude the track (s) of the adjustment layer

    Hello world

I use Premiere Elements for many years and am now test Premiere Pro to make the Decision to change to pro or not weather.

So I try a few things and have mor than one question

1: I wonder if there is a method to bind an adjustment layer to specific and not too ALL titles follow below.

Problem: Using the green screen images and make the entry in the adjustment layer (because the film changes with every project, but the entry parameters are always the same - so an adjustment layer is ideal to keep the settings) means that the effects of adjustment layer of her down the track with background images that I want to insert. So I'm looking for a method to warn the adjustment layer one who tracks it has to work on... and which should not.

    Is this possible? and how?

2: in Premiere Elements I liked the simple way to insert a fade-in or melted to the video and audio tracks just right click on the item in the Assembly of witch and then choose 'Add Transition' with the options "Audio fade-in ', 'fade-in video', 'Fade Audio', 'video Fade-out' that adds the length preset for transitions to the clip. Tool me about one second.

In Premiere Pro I cannot find this feature in the list right click options. So, I really need to I add each fade in and fade-out manually by using the effect options and setting keyframes manually from 0 to 100? Seems odd that Pro is less intelligent than the elements...

Or how to do that in Pro?

3: in the window "Export media" I struggle with the adjustment that will be made, which means that litte drop-down menu with 'all' or 'working space' - I hope you know what I mean?

Problem: This setting always jumps back on 'working space', even if I used the last time that "everything." And 'all' is the way I went my projects to 99%. So I wonder where I can edit the preset of this option to 'all '.

Thanks for your help in advance!

    Kind regards

    Lutz

1 No., the key effect does not work on an adjustment layer, it generates no alpha channel.

It must be on the clip, but you can save the settings as a preset.

You can't say to an adjustment layer which layer to use when they are stacked at the top.

    2. in the preferences, you can set the default length of transitions.

The default transition is Cross Fade, for constant power audio for video.

3 workspace is the default when you use the work area bar in the timeline.

If you put default WAB to the output sequence.

  • script: Add to the adobe media encoder

    Hello guys!

Tout d’abord félicitations les nouveautés et le badass look d’After Effects. I really enjoy!

But I'm really disappointed to see that the function of rendering h264 has disappeared. Who really destroyed my workflow boom!

Because I have a lot of jobs for a show room, where I very often do 360 degree projection mappings and the overall resolution there are approximately 26 000 width px. What we do, because we're using watchout as reading system and the management of all the projectors, is splitting h264 movies to their maximum width resolution. The things is that for example for an event we have around 20 to 30 animations and 1 animation is divided into 6 movies... What we did usually - we wrote a little script that automatically splits the film in 6, dial before all, align them all and returns all videos with predefined parameters h264. So... my question is now... How can I modify my script and configure it to send all the comps pre composed, resized, aligned, new to Adobe Media Encoder and use a h264 predefined make the adjustment? I couldn't find any more info on the bridge between AE and Media Encoder script.

    See you soon,.

    Marin

PS: I know that we can use Final Cut Pro or Motion for resolution of the h264... but it's a kind of workflow I had used to work... everything happens in a single application... and no annoying hundred times save slot, not made in the form etc.

    Hello sailor,

It is true that it is a pain to manage outside EI h.264 encoding.  You can write a script that calls the app.executeCommand () function and passes the code that calls the "add to Adobe Media Encoder queue... "under menu Composition of AE.  OK, digital, code for this command is 3800.  So you would simply browse the comps you wanted and then open them in the main Viewer using the method. openInView() that brings them into focus for say.  Once it is open you can then send the SOUL model with app.executeCommand (3800).  On the side of the SOUL, you need a default template to render output parameters you want.  When your script adds a model to the queue of the SOUL, it will take these parameters.

Now, you could do all this, but have you seen AEmpeg than aescripts posted yesterday?  It allows you to 100s of codecs using ffmpeg right of AE.  While it costs money, at least it will open the door to a streamlined workflow and a variety of codecs you might need.

  • Export of media in Premiere Pro CS6 ONLY produces an Audio file in Media Encoder

First of all, all the System Info:

Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1

Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics card

    I use the first Pro CS6 Version 6.0.5 (001 (MC: 264587)) «Mighty Kilt»

    Version 6.0.3.1 (64-bit) Adobe Media Encoder cs6

Other Adobe applications: AIR, creative cloud, Download Assistant, Encore CS6 Library, 12 ActiveX of Flash Player, Flash Player Plugin from 12, Manager help, Premiere Pro CS6, Premiere Pro CS6 functional Content, reader XI

I ran on Premiere Pro and Media Encoder updates and everything is up-to-date

I produce a two disc double layer DVD for 100 families of my sons of fanfare.

I have half an hour "masterpiece" of interviews, segments of performance, rehearsal sequences, credits, etc. that I edited complete set with sound, etc.

I also have various other video segments of the season, a high quality (1920 x 1080) and a decline in quality.

Rather than import in yet and have yet to transcode all the same quality, I wanted to make sure the piece of half an hour and some other segments were transcoded in highest possible quality and given the large size of the files that I could and then transcode other segments at lower levels of quality as it is necessary so all the space on the disks.

The company I use to duplicate/replicate the 100 DVDs of my DVD Master advised me to encode them FIRST in Premiere Pro as you wish and THEN import these files into yet.

I used Adobe Media encode a lot to export the individual segments in the files, I could upload it to Youtube and have had no problems for several months.

    But now, two things happen:

    (1) SOUL automatically designates the file 'exit' with an extension .aac (see table)

    (2) when I do a file "import under" soul encoded in still won't load an audio file (obviously)

    Huh?

Here are the settings I use in my export media dialog in Premiere Pro CS6:

    Format: MPEG2-DVD

    Screening: NTSC widescreen high quality

Out of name (and the file type): _ name with like kind of video Files (*.mpg) «»

Boxes to "Export video" so much "Export Audio" is checked (see attached screen print)

The filters tab: on the left as is, don't do anything here

    Multiplexer tab:

    • Click on the button "DVD" (vs. the "None" button)
    • Bitrate type: left as Variable that matches what is selected by default

    Video tab:

    • Codec: Reads MainConcept MPEG video
    • Quality: increase it up to 5
    • TV standard: NTSC
    • Frame rate: 29.97
    • Field order: no (progressive)
    • Pixel Aspect ratio: screen 16:9 wide
    • Go to maximum depth box checked
    • Encoding Bitrate: I choose CBR for my high quality segments and VBR 2 pass for my segments of lower quality
    • Bitrate: kick up to max to high quality segments, adjust as required to obtain the size of the file that I want for my lower segments of quality

    Audio tab:

    • Audio format: Dolby Digital
    • Codec: Dolby Digital
    • Bitrate: 320 at least, sometimes higher for segments, I want to be the highest quality

I check the box of "quality to make Maximum usage.

I chose 'Tail' for everything and then let it run all night

And Yes, the original media has TWO a video track and audio track that works (see screenshot)

So... What am I doing wrong, useful experts?

A - ha! MPEG2 export formats missing in the SOUL is the key to the riddle. You have a license problem, possibly the one discussed here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4401451.

I'm not familiar with this issue and has not taken the time to read the pages that links Todd to-instead, I wanted to get the link for you as soon as POSSIBLE. If you have a problem directly solving the problem, I see two immediate options: 1) encode "in-process" by Premiere Pro by clicking 'Export' in the dialog box export settings (as opposed to the queue, which of course sends the job of the SOUL), or 2) to install the trial version of CC (aka 7.x).
