Media Encoder has stopped

I export a timeline of 1 h 14 min 24f 1080 p which was there in SD and using the plugin Red Giant Instant HD up to res. Media Encoder is sitting at 17 seconds from the end to go over an hour now and won't be finished. He is still using CPU and memory resources, but not much. If I stop the process, he won't show in the log that the user stopped it. not that the newspaper is generally useful anyway. So after 11 hours enough to just kill it and restart it? And then it happens again? Frustrating. Win 8 I7 processors 18 GB of ram

Strange update. I clicked on pause and then play again to continue encodes it and BLING it's done. STROLLER!

Ok... I managed to solve this problem. I had to completely uninstall my graphics drivers, restart and it works!

I think it must be something to do with the graphics card week, but I'm not technical, so I don't really have any idea. I don't think I dare reinstall the drivers, but it seems to work very well in any case. A really weird.

  • Media Encoder has stopped working. Need urgent help.

I have a project that I'm trying to make. There are a lot of clips of old DV camcorder, I managed to copy mpg2. They play very well, and I can put a few together and make it very well. I put them all together in a final movie of 2 hours. Whenever I try to make it I get the message "Adobe Media Encoder CC 2015 has stopped working" and it closes. There are no model when it arrives, as 15% and sometimes more than 50%.

I try to restore to the format h.264 with all default settings. This setting works very well with some clips so I don't think it's a problem of encoding/formatting.

I tried some things that I found on the removal of preferences and cache cleaning and also turn off encoding GPU, and it makes no difference.

Help, please. What is the problem or what I am doing wrong?

Sorry, I forgot to answer that. I managed to make it work by pointing a fan of the vents on my computer. Then it must be an overheating problem. I guess I should do an interview

It sounds drastic, but do a clean install (looking for something that said adobe and delete it, as there is a SOUL file hiding somewhere) will take a few hours while you are if all goes well do something else. Also update quicktime and windows MediaPlayer.

Go to another editing system will give you just another set of headaches. Complex programs all have problems.

  • Error: "Windows Media Center has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution. "when tried to open it after installing the KB983590 update

Original title: WMC no longer works after update of August 10

Windows Media Center has stopped working after installation of my Windows 7 Professional pc all 11 updates gave me on August 11, 2010. I used system restore to the day before the updates, and install them individually. The first 9 no trouble with WMC. But the IE8 KB982664 for Windows 7 compatibility view list caused my action center to report that I needed to check the undeclared solutions to problems. WMC would still start. But after installing KB983590 .NET framework 3.5.1 for Windows 7 x 86, WMC has stopped working.

After you uninstall update 2 above WMC would still not start.

After using the system again restore forward updates, I installed the other 9 updated with, so far, no problem with WMC.

  • Click recorded TV, it says that "Windows Media Center has stopped working, seeking resolutions... »

I'm having a problem with Windows Media Center. It starts no problem, but when I click on recorded TV, it says that "Windows Media Center has stopped working, seeking resolutions... "If I click on TV guide there is no problem. I tried a restore, but for some reason any restore function has been disabled.

(copy - paste from another thread - user has same question):

You has not, coincidentally, happens to record last Friday (I think it is?) episode of human target (what happened to be replaced by a House reruns), did you?
Reason I ask: it has been a little traffic on to thegreenbutton on the subject these days - and everyone who reported also arrived to try to save human target.  Somehow, the file finished with metadata is corrupted, what makes MC crash when you enter recorded TV (at best, it crashes when you select the program from the list.)
FIX: Open Explorer and go to C:\users\Public\Recorded TV.  Find and remove "human Target__"(exemple: «La Target_WDIVDT_2010_10_01».) ".
Start Media Center, and then try again.  Fixed?

    B. I also suggest you to rebuild the Media Center data store.
To do this, follow these steps:

    C. I also suggest you to check the boot and if you are able to access the Windows media center.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. Boot stops interference with other third-party software on the computer.
Steps to perform the clean boot:
    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
    3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
    5. click on OK.
    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

If the problem is solved, check what is the cause of the problem, referring to the link given below:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue. On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.
