Media Player is insensitive to chance

original title: I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit OS and WMP12.

Recently, my Media Player acted irratically, (does not at once) and the mouse seems to do its own thing sometimes. Also, I can not burn CD more and there are unknown titles popping up that I can't remove. Is it possible to uninstall and reinstall a clean version of the media player, because if so, I have not found.

  • Absent Express Media Player series M100

    Hello
Can someone from Toshiba help me? I bought Satellite M100-164. The main reason for purchase was Express Media Player (EMP). I was very surprised after the Windows loading, whem I have found no sign of EMP. First, I checked the EMP button assign, it was OK, but there was no such an application called EMP. So I checked the assigning HARD disk partitions, there would be no indefinite parition for EMP Web site. says "don't Enjoy the EMP button, for playback of DVD/CD immidiate", it is in the description in all series of M1OO products! What does that mean? It is very annoying for me. The next thing that bothers me is the technical documentation. Toshiba says: (I dislike this asteriks) "The EMP is available on some models", but when you want to know that you, you have no chance to find, web site or documentation! Toshiba tips their client? Could someone tell me what series M100 product have a preinstalled EMP? Thank you very much

    Hello

Each M100 is not preinstalled with EMP and your unit is one of them. Usually your local dealer should have some information about it and know exactly what he sells.

Obviously you didn't understand what is EMP but I will try to explain in a few sentences. FAST media player is small application based on Linux that allows you to watch DVDs or listen to audio CD WITHOUT operating system startup. Because of this, you will not be able to find anything in Windows Explorer. Second interesting thing is that EMP is preinstalled on small space not partitioned on the HARD disk and for Windows, it is not visible.

I hope that you are satisfied with this short explanation. If you have any other questions you are welcome at any time.

    Good bye

  • Vista on Qosmio F20: SD card reader and Media Player keys do not work

I recently updated my Qosmio F20 for Vista.
I got most of the job functions, but my SD card reader and fixed keys for media player still haven't.

I can't find the drivers for them (I don't think they exist for a F20) so I was wondering if anyone had a solution.

    Thank you

    Hi faarn

You can't find the Vista drivers as Vista don t drivers is on the page of Toshiba. Some people have posted a link to the official document on the units of Vista support and the Qosmio G and F20 was not on the list.

But another clue. Check the drivers in another series as F30 or G30. But the chances are small that the pilots will run

  • Open a URL in Windows Media Player

Is there a chance to open a url directly from youtube in windows media player?

    Let's go into the details.

I have the old Matrox rt.x100 video card (full screen on an external monitor only with windows media player + live show video plugin), so if I want to open a livestream of youtube video and play on external monitor through the Matrox card I need wmp.

Beacause it, is there any chance and the possibility of open url directly in Windows Media Player?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Stefan

I don't disagree that VLC can, but it's obviously research any HTML content on the page, to jump beyond all the toolbars, comments, announcements, links and... then find the video, determine the FLV or a video that is wrapped in the HTML5 or Flash wrapper, then play the open content.

This will never come to WMP.

  • Windows Media Player does not work on Windows XP.

I was still having problems with my windows live messenger I did a clean through my computer of viruses and and anything that may be damaged and then I let a friend 'fix' that believe him when he said he could. Windows Media Player worked well before he touched and now it will not respond the same way. I also use Firefox as my main browser, only then if someone else who uses the engine might be able to help or whatever at all for this player. He worked 5 hours trying to get it working right again, but eventually gave up. It also seems that all sites that I thought could help ended up being for vista or windows 7-8. windows media player doesn't work I have to do a lot of, click on this and that and then play. I want to just back to normal. thx for the advice

Original title: How can I fix windows Media Player so it will automatically play CDs or DVDsit stopped after I cleaned my computer.

Thanks for all these possible methods of fixing. We did in those 5 hours trying to make it work related things. my friend had installed all sorts of uprising "Tune Up programs (which I told him not to do so), but after he did this." It is when I have a few things that worked before orders also. as well, it didn't speed up my computer nor in any case. then after I uninstalled all his *, ran all cleaners and antivirus programs, cleaned the Vincent of cookies that have been in my wall of cookie and don't have a boot scan system. and then passed through a finger and put a cd in and I heard run and a list of options appeared with the selections as game cd on Media player so I high informed that clicks on the box on the bottom, saying always remember this clicked on ok. and easie peasie it worked. I remember now that the way back in 09 when I got this computer, this option is given then to so I do not know that are a little devil programs Sotah but thank the Lord that I found myself in the end fixing. Unfortunately, it was after I went to the community for help when I decided to give him another chance to just put a cd and see if I had to go through files and click on the media player, and then click in the list of play but I had that pain in the butt. I don't know if faith had anywthing to do with my luck but I prayed for help earlier and well I got it! Thank you for your time giving these great options of measures to take. may blessing come your way Lori

    send email to customer support

I must say that Windows, XBox, Zune, etc. has the WORST customer service I've ever seen! I have NEVER had a Web site that wouldn't be not to remove my credit card on internet information - you are a rip off! I'm calling to cancel the XBOX and I'll send a copy to the Better Business Bureau. Then, I had a problem with my Windows Media Player - I have tried EVERY single "difficulty" or "repair" and uninstall then reinstall, and I still can't use it. I have that either get the original mistakes a lot of people seem to get 8007007E and/or C00D11B1, then after trying to erase these error messages, I get an error message that says "module not found". I'll just use iTunes or cloud player or Jukebox yahoo music or all that I can to avoid these errors. I bought all the songs over the internet or a cd in the store, and I can not play 1 song on WMP again. I just wanted you to know that your customer service is * and the next time I buy a computer, there is no Windows on it! If there is a problem I do not know, send it, or just forget about it, and regarding the XBOX charges on my debit card, I will file the complaint in a letter written to MicroSoft and the BBB. J. • Unable to play wmv attachments only get XP Media Player 11 audio system Details

I rebooted Media Player 11 to ensure that all codecs are correct, but still only get audio, no video when I play mail electronic wmv attachments! Any help on this please?

    Hello

First download the attachment file and save it to the desktop. Open the downloaded file and check if he plays well.

Windows Media Player 11 supports the .wmv file format. If you are not able to play the .wmv file, then the chances of file corruption is possible.

To check the cross, try to play the same file using any other media player.

If you are able to play the file with another player, then download and install the codecs and check the result.

  • I had a virus that changed my .exe files to open in Windows Media Player.

I have Windows Vista.  I tried several ways to correct the problem without success.  I even created a file of commands from another post, and when I try to open the batch file, it appears a black screen for a millisecond and closes just as fast.  I read that some users successfully and temporarily solved the problem by putting their programs at all open them in adobe, then deleted adobe on their computer.   I don't know how to do this.  I thought of one alternative might be to uninstall Windows Media Player because it is not cited as an option.  I think it came as a microsoft bundle package when the computer was bought in a refurb from Dell.   Up to Date help much appreciated!

    Hello

Did you ever remove the Malware?

Scan of Malware in Safe Mode with network.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-start-Windows-in-safe-mode/#Vista

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with the Boot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode with networking with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

Once in Safe Mode with network, download and run RKill.

RKill does NOT remove the malware; It stops the Malware process that gives you a chance to remove it with your security programs.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/

Then, download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware in Mode safe mode with networking:

    See you soon.

  • No sound from rear speakers during playback of media player

Even if I tested successfully through Windows and Creative own console, rear speakers have suddenly ceased to play a sound when playing music or media from the media player or Internet.  I removed all the cables and put back them in.  All tests for separate speakers work, including at the back and I checked all the settings, but those rear fails during playback.  Any suggestions please?  A system restore does not resolve it.

    Hello

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

According the description, I imagine that you use a multichannel speaker system. In this case, have you checked that the media you play have multichannel inside? The chances of no sound is more when there is no channel available in the audio file.

  • Media Player gives error COODOFD6 code

Help, please! I'm not particularly computer so would appreciate any possible solutions to lay mans terms. Thank you.
The above code has come with a message indicating that any 'add ons' has been disabled, probably because of a damaged add on. (not exactly worded, but it is essential)
I tried to copy music from Media Player to a SD memory card in time.
Now, when you insert a card, it nothing happens. The computer does'nt answer at all. Although I've tried have'nt, I assume it will also have disabled the USB ports.
Can someone tell me please how to re activate the ports 'Add '. Thank you.
    Phil

    Hi again,
I don't know how, but the problem seems to be resolved. If it's something I did by chance, maybe I don't know, but thanks for your help anyway.
The only other minor, problem I have (whilest I'm on) is the function of "Narrator", which, for some unknown reason, I turned on earlier, will not stop. I checked the appropriate box when I finally tried, but the Narrator comes again every time I start. No problem, but more frustrating than anything. Any suggestions as to why it won't turn off?
    Thanks again

  • Windows Live Movie Maker cannot read a particular DVD title while Windows Media Player and VLC can.

I use WL Movie maker to convert DVD titles/chapters/files .vob in a readable WMV format for consumption on my Windows Phone for later viewing. The DVD is open and has no right of use of media and every other title/chapter on the disk except for this one, I've converted using Movie Maker.

Windows Media player and VLC Media player can read without problem. Can I also hidden the specific section (and high school) with Divx Plus Converter in Divx format, but Movie Maker can not identify/read the article and simply extract 14-minute shows with nothing in it, even though it has about 25 minutes. Video player can read more about the chapter that is the second vob related file in the section.

I feel it is a problem with Movie Maker and its algorithms have encountered a scenario where he lost his mind, because I have to kill the Movie Maker, because never happens to expire.
