MediaMonkey and podcasts

Currently, I use itunes to sync with my ipod. I would also like to synchronize my Clip, using Media Monkey with my podcasts only. I selected podcasts in Media Monkey and added in my video, but they will not sync.

I don't want a Media Monkey to download new podcasts simply to synchronize selected already downloaded via itunes podcasts.

With success, everyone do that?

Thank you

Empire says:
I am OK using slide it / move, but hoped to automate updates somehow. I listen to podcasts about 10 every day and really want to update the podcasts in itunes and then use Media monkey to sync them with my video automatically.

If you already have MM, it would be interesting to try to use it to download the same podcasts... would make everything much easier to automate. When I went to iTunes to MM for my podcasts, I was able to find almost all of them. But for what you ask... I think you need the full version of MM, which would automatically monitor folders and update. With the free version, you will need to use the tracks add/analyze again to your media library to add podcasts to MM first and then be able to sync them. That why I think "select all" and then drag-and - déposer would be just as easy.

But he must once again, make sure that they are not in a transfer of beforeyou size alone Apple them. iTunes and MM can do the conversion. I have one that whenever it loads in, I use MM to "convert to new destination" (which is my Sansa), of m4a ogg vorbis (because I have the free MM and cannot convert to MP3).

They are treated differently on the "rocket"?

At the end of the PC, the difference is probably only in how works the subscription service.  Podcasts can get updated automatically and old versions deleting automatically with itunes, mediamonkey, etc...  On the "rocket", audibook bookmarking features may work differently, but I have not played with them.  the "rocket" can read DRM from audible .aa files but your rocket must be bu Audible 'authorized' (what happens when you connect the "rocket" to your PC and run the Audible Download Manager).  I never heard of podcasts with DRM, but that's neither here nor there.

  • Why is my friends and Podcasts for iOS 10 appear in my updates?

I have iOS 9.3.2 on my iPhone and OS X.11.5 on my computer, using the latest version of iTunes (12.1.4.6) software and when I update my Apps in iTunes (under Apps-> updates) I see also find friends and Podcasts. If I try to update I tells me they re iOS updates only (well, duh). If I search in the App Store on my iPhone for each application (which seems to be what I am told to do so by iTunes), nothing is found.

I see that these applications are for 10 iOS, which is not yet available.

Then why I see these Apps as updates? How to make this stop?

What in the name of the pizza was thinking of Apple (wait, don't answer that).

You should be able to get the latest compatible version of the app Apple Podcast and other apps too:

From when iOS 7 was released, Apple can now download the latest compatible version of some applications (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

Install the latest compatible version of an application on a previous version of iOS or OS X

"If I want to have the Clip + use the special treatment of audio books and Podcasts based on being placed in the records of audiobook or Podcast that I use just the main memory or can I have audio files and Podcast on the microSD so and records of these two places will integrate the Clip +?

YES. The player creates folders of audio books and podcasts on the card the first time, that it is inserted in the drive.

If the files are placed in these folders, the tag of the genre didn't need to be edited.

  • BlackBerry smartphones to organize your music and podcasts.

    Greetings!

I need a multimedia application for my desktop which will allow me to organize the music and podcasts, and then transfer them on my 8350i. Currently, I use a Zune and its software, but want to start using the BB for convenience.

I am running Vista and apparently its incompatible with the Media Manager (spent all day with technical support, no response) I can drag and drop individual songs from the Explorer to the BB, but not playlists or albums.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! (if you haven't guessed, I know squat about computers, the non-technical answers would be most useful)

If your files are organized on your PC: with all the songs of an album, in a folder and playlist from the album in this folder then you can simply drag-and - drop whole album. Then the playlist will be recognized by the appliance.

Alternatively, you can use 'appl itunes' or 'windows media player' on your PC and then use BlackBerry Media Sync 2.0 on your PC, allowing you to synchronize the music between iTunes/WMP playlists and your multimedia Application on your BlackBerry.

    Media Sync is free.

  • Audio books and Podcasts in the Windows Media Library

I have a lot of audio books and cd courses and have recently begun to download podcasts.

For now, all this shows mixed with my music files.  Many audio books / race have a number of CDs and they appear separated.  Is it possible to have separate for Audio books and podcasts... files and separate libraries as well?  For example, it has a music library, a video library, etc.  I would like to have a library of Audio books and podcasts, so that they do not appear in the music library.

Then, if this is possible and I get it set up, how to remove these things from the music library.

    Thanks for your help!

Hello!! :) Yes! :) Click Start, and then click documents. in the left pane, click libraries. Then up, click New library. An icon appears and it automatically allows you to type the name. Enter the audio books.

After you do this, it is said that he needs you to include a folder. leave it for now and click the icon of the music. then, click new folder. Enter the audio books. Then, in music files, find all of your audio books, according to the authors, how much you have, you may have to do it one by one, but drag them to the wire music, hold and then a list appears. Move it to audio books and he lay.
Keep this up until you're all done. Click on the new icon of audio books, that you created. Click on include a folder and find the folder of audio books. Double click it and it must insert them for you. :), hope this helps!

To delete audio books in the media player, go to the library and click on organize. then click on options. The box comes up and the first open tab is the library. in that list of checkboxes, find the on that says "remove files from my computer when it is removed from the library." If it is checked, uncheck it. If this isn't the case, then let him. :)

in this way, you don't remove them completely. Then, right click on audio books and remove it. I hope this helps! :)

  • Updated to iOS 10 on ipad and podcast app grabbed 1 G space

After upgrading to iOS 10 my ipad 4 podcast caught 1 G space and I can't delete it, even watch to see what documents and data take up this space.  I use my podcast every day and download talk, one episode at a time and have never used something close to 1 G memory. Now, all of a sudden I use 1 G?

How can I solve this problem?  How will I know what data on this App and how to remove that?

Podcast is an integrated application and can not be deleted, so I am at a loss as to how I release this space

Whatever that is would be helpful

p.s. I've asked this question before and don't know if I asked the right question and that's why I tried again

Podcast using 1 G of storage iOS 10

    Thank you

Try these standard troubleshooting steps. Restoration often clears hogs memory stabborn.

-Reset: hold the Home and Power buttons until you see the logo Apple (10-15 seconds).

    -Restore your iDevice: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184

If your backup is in iTunes, make sure that it is encrypted.

  • iOS 9.2 and Podcasts - any improvement or modification?

For those who still use the Podcasts app and have updated to iOS 9.2, nothing is better? Do not appear to it there are any change at all?

On my iPhone Podcasts app is still eating up to 2.8 GB of "Documents and data" and I can't get rid of it, even if I deleted all podcasts of this app and stopped using it well over a month. Which seems not to have changed - an app that I do not yet consumes more memory than any other app on my iPhone. All issues have been addressed?

Haven't noticed any improvement. Still no option to full screen while watching a video podcast on an iPad. Podcast Apple gets my vote for worst-c 2015 and the person who designed this shouldn't be the design of a - c

  • Is there a way to store your music, photos and podcasts in iCloud, until you need it on iPhone?  I'm running out of storage space, but have a lot in iCloud.

I received an alert from Apple stating my storage was used almost to the top (of course I should have bought an iPhone with the largest storage) so I bought more storage iCloud.  I can't seem to move something there well and then download what I need.  The iCloud icon was always there to use when I got my iPod.  How to make this work on my iPhone?

The iCloud is a synchronization mechanism rather wide storage unit - if you want to stuff the device turned off but accessible in the 'cloud' watching Google Drive or OneDrive

  • Management podcast

    Hello!

I mainly bought the Clip + for its characteristics of podcast, I listen to a lot of podcasts... I used an iPod Touch, but the battery is crap and not reliable (after almost 3 years of good service however...), so I had to find an alternative and the Clip + is a cheap...

In any case, I was able to download all my podcasts with MediaMonkey and synchronize them on my Clip +. The only problem I have is to remove them when I listened to their...

I tried to delete the podcast on the Clip +, but MediaMonkey puts when I sync. And there seems to be no way to tell MediaMonkey (or any other program for that matter...) that I listened to this podcast (something like the blue in iTunes point).

Is it possible to manage podcasts in iTunes/iPod way with the Clip +?

    Thank you!

I have, also, I'm a big fan of podcasts and other audio entertainment. I was in the same boat as you, iTunes used for the management of podcast with an iPod. Then after 2-3 solid years of intensive use, my 2nd gen iPod nano launched the bucket. It was so very sad, but I moved. I like my Clip + and my NEW podcast Setup much more now. I would like to share with you my podcast management configuration. I use juice to download podcasts and Synctoy to synchronize podcasts with the Clip +.

The great thing about Synctoy is clever how it is, how it syncs both ways. It will add a new podcast to my Clip + and then when I remove the podcast directly from the device more late Synctoy is smart enough to then delete the podcast on my computer when I plug. This isn't re - sync a podcast I listened to.

In advanced juice options, you can set it to run a command once successfully downloaded a podcast. In my case, I have it set to run the SyncToy light Guest session:

    "C:\Program Files\SyncToy 2.1\SyncToyCmd.exe" r

This way if you have your Clip + is plugged in, he'll automated to synchronize with the new podcasts as soon as they are downloaded.

Another good idea is to put the command above in a text Notepad document and save it as synctoy.bat and put it on your desktop. In this way, you can call Synctoy to synchronize whenever without launching the main Synctoy program to do or waiting for juice download another show.

Don't forget to put your Clip + the USB Mode "MSC". This will not work in the other USB 'By DEFAULT' mode.

  • update search for my friends & podcasts

iTunes tells me to update 'my friends of search' and 'podcasts '. Doubleclicking the icons on my windows computer displays the information to search for updates in the app store of my iOS devices. But there is no available for these applications udate.

So, how to update these applications?

    Thanks in advance.

    iPhone 6

    iOS 9.2.3

    Hi ervau,

From what you described, it seems that these two applications shows that they are updated to the latest version on your iPhone, but not in iTunes on your Windows PC. I would be happy to provide some guidance.

Regarding the application of Podcasts, it is in fact built into iOS now, so it will not need to be updated individually. For this reason, it is safe to remove the outdated version of the app of Podcasts in iTunes.

The application 'search my friends', I recommend the deletion of outdated since iTunes version, then follow the steps in this article to synchronize the updated stored on your iPhone on iTunes version:

  • Is there a way to tag audio files on an ipod nano 8th generation and iphone?

    Hello

I listen to audio long music mixes and podcasts radio, usually between 2 to 4 hours long. But many times, I want to set up. I would to halfway through listening to a mix of music for 2 hours, then to go to the podcast. But then I don't want to return to the mix of music later but at exactly at the same point in the mix where I left. Is it possible to bookmark this point in time in the mix?

Whenever I go to another audio file, it's always a pain in the anus to then navigate to that point in time in the first file I listened. I went through all the menus and see no option for this. This type of bookmarking functionality is available?

I use an iPod Nano 8 Gen and iPhone 5s and both are updated to the latest updates/IOS

In iTunes, select some of your audio files for a long time, get information, and then on the Options on the tab playback position check store. Sync.

  • can't update Podcasts or find friends in iTunes sync

A synchronization tonight there were six applications update in iTunes. Two applications (find My Friends and Podcasts) would update not give the message "(uniquement disponible sur iOS-faire une recherche sur appareil iOS). box"

No app showed up to date on the iPhone since the end of May. A search on the iPhone displays Podcasts. If I click on the app in the app store it will open Podcasts without updating. The search to find my friends brings to the top of any Apple application in the store.

    He just showed tonight.

I got it exactly the same problem until I tried the solution discussed here:
