Management podcast

Hello!

I mainly bought the Clip + for its characteristics of podcast, I listen to a lot of podcasts... I used an iPod Touch, but the battery is crap and not reliable (after almost 3 years of good service however...), so I had to find an alternative and the Clip + is a cheap...

In any case, I was able to download all my podcasts with MediaMonkey and synchronize them on my Clip +. The only problem I have is to remove them when I listened to their...

I tried to delete the podcast on the Clip +, but MediaMonkey puts when I sync. And there seems to be no way to tell MediaMonkey (or any other program for that matter...) that I listened to this podcast (something like the blue in iTunes point).

Is it possible to manage podcasts in iTunes/iPod way with the Clip +?

Thank you!

I have, also, I'm a big fan of podcasts and other audio entertainment. I was in the same boat as you, iTunes used for the management of podcast with an iPod. Then after 2-3 solid years of intensive use, my 2nd gen iPod nano launched the bucket. It was so very sad, but I moved. I like my Clip + and my NEW podcast Setup much more now. I would like to share with you my podcast management configuration. I use juice to download podcasts and Synctoy to synchronize podcasts with the Clip +.

The great thing about Synctoy is clever how it is, how it syncs both ways. It will add a new podcast to my Clip + and then when I remove the podcast directly from the device more late Synctoy is smart enough to then delete the podcast on my computer when I plug. This isn't re - sync a podcast I listened to.

In advanced juice options, you can set it to run a command once successfully downloaded a podcast. In my case, I have it set to run the SyncToy light Guest session:

"C:\Program Files\SyncToy 2.1\SyncToyCmd.exe" r

This way if you have your Clip + is plugged in, he'll automated to synchronize with the new podcasts as soon as they are downloaded.

Another good idea is to put the command above in a text Notepad document and save it as synctoy.bat and put it on your desktop. In this way, you can call Synctoy to synchronize whenever without launching the main Synctoy program to do or waiting for juice download another show.

Don't forget to put your Clip + the USB Mode "MSC". This will not work in the other USB 'By DEFAULT' mode.

Why podcast app using 1 G of storage when I have nothing loaded on this subject?  How can I know what 1 G of things is on the app? I had to/Import/Storage settings / manage and it lists apps that I have and how much storage it uses, but when I click on the podcast app it tells me only that I have 1 G of documents & data, but he didn't tell me what data and documents.

I don't have 12G on the ipad and this app takes a lot of space

    Greetings charlymishu,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. After reviewing your post, I can tell that you are wanting to know why the Podcasts app uses 1 GB of storage. I know have sufficient on your iPad storage space is vitally important. I will be happy to provide information on this.

If you do not already done, please close force Podcasts and settings on iPad apps and reboot the device. When he's back on the homescreen, please go back and check the amount of storage and see if the amount has fallen to a more reasonable level. If it is not, and since it seems that you are not actually using Podcasts app, one thing I can recommend is to delete the app from your iPad Podcasts. Again, it's something you can do with iOS 10. Once you delete it, you will not be able to use the Podcasts with CarPlay app, but you can reinstall the application at any time, if you wish. See remove the apps Apple integrated from the home screen on your device iOS with iOS 10 for more information.

Force a nearby application on your Mac.

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    See you soon!

  • Downloaded ITunes podcasts

Sign up for a free daily podcast. I'm usually very behind listening to, but I download them. ITunes (v.12.3.3.17 on a PC with Windows 7) no longer displays podcasts (that they be heard or unknown) after about a month. I don't know where the old podcasts are. I can't even find in the ITunes folder to download. Are my podcasts always in my computer? I clicked to view the file in Windows Explorer and I see old episodes in the folder. But how can I keep them in the ITunes display? Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hello ajw1000,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

  • Lack of Podcast episodes in iTunes Store

    My Feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/providenceaustin/sermons

I manage the podcast of our Church, and I'm having a problem with some missing episodes. I checked my stream for errors, but I have not found any, and episodes are missing through the iTunes store (they appear if you look at just the stream itself, or if you pull up the stream to help another customer podcast). But many of our users go through iTunes, so I understand what the problem is.

So far, I noticed two missing episodes in recent months. They are both of the same itunes:author (we have several authors on our flow), which is the only resemblance, I noticed. But there are correctly shown episodes of this author. Other than that, I don't know what is happening. The episodes in question are the most recent episode of this past Sunday, June 5, 2016. And the other is from March 20, 2016.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You have probably fallen on an intermittent bug in the store where some episodes do not appear, even if all episodes appear when you subscribe. Go to the Podcasts Connect, log in, choose your podcast and click 'Refresh Feed'. Give it time - the store can take a day or two to update. If that does not work, contact support and ask for a re-indexing: who can solve it. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click on the link "Contact us" at the bottom of the page.

  • How to load and remove the iPod nano podcasts

Since the new 12.4.0 iTunes I am unable to load new podcasts or remove the "old" iPod nano...

I am able to delete podcasts played in my library, but there are some podcasts I want to keep (This American Life, etc.), even if I listened to them. However, with the new version of iTunes, they played podcasts seem to be automatically loaded on my Nano, even if I manually manage my content AND have said to delete played podcasts from the nano.

Help! It is a very frustrating version of iTunes.

  • Can not remove the iPod with itunes Podcast

It seems that I can delete is no longer my ipod via itunes podcast less 12.4. I have a 3rd gen ipod (no, I'm not buying a version more recent one it still works fine) I have manually manage my music and podcast on. Before I could just put all my podcast in a playlist "podcast" and once I am done listening to them I could + option + delete them both the playlist and my ipod. Now when I do that, they only deletes the list of reading (it's not free all the space on the ipod just do 'orphans' podcast on it). Anyone have any ideas?

What happens when you manually delete the podcast episode of list of Podcasts from iPod (instead of the playlist)?  This response is for the original poster mikonic26.

  • "Unable to download the podcast" on the iPhone 6 - iOS 9.3.1

Hello. First of all, I know there are similar positions, but none does not appear to have raised no interest so I thought I would try another thread.

I am on iPhone iOS running 6 9.3.1 and for the past 2 weeks, I have not been able to download a podcast. I have only one that automatically downloads, but I also sometimes manually download other podcasts (for example before a flight).

I can no longer do and noticed that the one who is supposed to automatically download is. I get the following error message: "unable to download the podcast" with the description of the episode, then 2 buttons ('done' and 'Retry'). Which none gets me anywhere.

For good measure, that I restored 3 times, nothing helps.

It happens regardless of the source of the podcast, so I don't think it's related to the issuer either.

    any idea?

Finally managed to solve this problem with an authoritative restore of the entire operating system and restore a backup based on other forums suggestions. This time, he solved the problem.

  • How can I get my YouTube video podcast in my iTunes RSS feed?

I want my video podcast on YouTube to show up in my stream iTunes, but how? All links in this forum for what appear to be old.

Welcome to the tips, thank you!

I know it's possible - see Ricky Gervais hosted example attached - but where the video download (used to YouTube nothing for this?)

You cannot use YouTube videos in iTunes. Videos must be one of the following specific formats: .m4v, .mov or .mp4 (no Flash, Realvideo or WMV). In the Ricky Gervais podcast files are mp4. Files can be hosted on an ordinary web server, but it must be able to manage "byte range requests", something you would need to check with the people who run it.

  • How to erase the storage of old podcasts?

Recently changed my approach to the Podcast subscriptions I do have that video podcasts on the iPad. I cancelled registration of all audio podcasts, and then removed from the list of my Podcasts.

Unfortunately, despite the reboots, resets and iOS updates that involved restores from backups, I do not use all the storage space occupied by the now deleted audio podcasts.

What else should try to find storage space?

Try to go here and see what is too much space.

    Hiya,

I started a podcast and would like if possible to upload it to iTunes. When I try to download my stream - http://feeds.soundcloud.com/users/soundcloud:users:223406935 / sounds.rss -I get the following two notifications:

Cannot download episodes of your workflow.

Podcast work must be understood from 1400 x 1400 to 3000 x 3000 pixels, JPG or PNG, in the RGB color space and hosted on a server that allows HTTP HEAD requests.

Is it possible someone could give me advice on this?

    Thanks in advance,

PS - I have finally managed to get my work to the correct size in pixels, but still get the message of not being able to download the episodes.

  • Podcast app crashing, madness download

Today, April 20, 2016, my podcast app in my iphone 6 more is crazy, almost all my podcast comes from AfterbuzzTV, and all keep download and even older month I already listen to (I activated the "delete played episodes"). I used to have "only download new" but hundreds of podcasts keep you download. I don't know what to do.

Just now, after more than an hour deleting every episode, I managed to make their stop, do not know exactly how. Everything is off, I'm afraid that if I activate "Download new episodes" and "remove played episodes", what download madness again.

    What happned?

    What can I do?

    Thank you!!!

It's something wrong with the power of Afterbuzz - I've had a bunch of Afterbuzz played episodes download twice now in the last 12 hours about, and I have deleted both times. But in my case, it's just a show, so it's not a huge deal.

These food kind of hiccups occur from time to time and I don't know why. If he continues to be a problem unsubscribe me, and if I remember, I renew a few days later, when things are if all goes well installed.

Oh and if you are on a bandwidth cap, make sure that you are ready to download on wifi only.

  • Impossible to copy with the new version of Itunes podcasts

Can't see how to copy podcasts on my Ipod classic frofm Itunes version 12.3.1.23. Podcasts in Itunes are grayed out. I don't want to use the sync option and lose the podcasts that are already on my Ipod.

You may be able to manually drag podcasts to the device if the music section is already ready for manual management. Others see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device. Probably best to retrieve all content anyway. Your iPod could be lost, stolen, damaged, or in need of restoration.

  • Went podcasts

I am running Yosemite 10.10.5 and itunes 12.3.3.17. Just updated. Now all my podcasts are gone except the ones I use on my iPad. Where are they? How can I see them? I need to manage my iPod.

him are stored in this path

    mine are 'shared '.

your of may in your users folder but the same path

(the default value is name of you Macintosh HD/your folder name of the podcast)

If they are not there you can get if you've used Time Machine before you update

but they should not have been erased by the upgrade

they could be deleted if iTunes has decided to remove them after you played them.

If they are there you can drag their return in the podcast channel on iTunes for this podcast

If this isn't there, you will have to resubscribe to the podcast until you can drag their return

If you do not already have a backup, you must back up now.

If you go to your list of podcast at the bottom of the left column is a button that says 'default... "- he has these options

the last of them is placed so foolishly in my humble OPINION and detrimental to all those who these for editing archives I don't understand the logic of its location.

  • Hundreds of old podcasts with dead links will not ERASE. Help, please...

    Hi people,

I have subscribed to podcasts for a long time and have updated iTunes and Mac OS X several times over the years with my iTunes data moving from one to the other and never getting a 'new start'... and now I'm cleaning up my library and using the application of Podcasts on its own, instead of iTunes to manage my podcasts. The problem is that even though I EMPTIED my iTunes from podcasts on site, I still have VERY OLD 734 podcasts appear on Apple TV, even though they have long since been removed and more even more exist on the internet, and even less on my Mac.

This seems to have been a problem for a handful of people, from what I can tell by looking around, but there are not many answers. I saw a person problem solved by a script of some kind, and tbh, I'm not sense enough to understand how use/run a script. I followed the link to one mentioned, and it is not the same instructions. I need help from someone knowledgeable... and I hope that I can get out these old decrepit podcasts my system somehow without doing anything weird. Can I simply delete or rebuild the library somehow? I wish I could just delete them, but it doesn't seem to be a way.

I am able to see them in iTunes after making a smart selection and setting the status to iCloud for 'is' and 'error' and Media type = Podcast. I can't delete a list of smart playlist, so I'm stuck. But these are podcasts of old, missing same long appear on the Apple TV in the section computer.

Someone help me please clean it. Someone has an idea of the best way to do it?

Thank you very much in advance...

    Anyone?

  • Is no longer possible to publish a stream in iTunes you and in the podcast store

    Just a heads up-

We spent several years some of our streams iTunes U published in the regular iTunes podcast store often use the same RSS feed for both. Since the recent launch of iTunes Connect (the new quote and service management of content from the iTunes store), however, it seems that it is possible to submit an RSS feed in iTunes you and the iTunes podcast store. I get a message that says "status: Validation failure ' and 'cannot submit your feed. Your feed had already been submitted. »

I submitted a ticket to Apple support, but some trial and error tests suggests that there is a workaround. If you have already submitted your feed to iTunes U, you can submit it to the iTunes podcast store but you need to replace the feed URL and the title of the podcast. I don't know if cela a new policy from Apple or a glitch in the new iTunes Connect service.

Another work around could be to send the stream to the podcast to iTunes store first and then submit to iTunes U public site manager using-, but I have tested this theory yet.

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

As I KNOW you're not supposed to do this in the first place. (It's what we were told in 2009).

I guess Apple is simply start applying this restriction.

    Best, Erik
