  Camera filter gross was not with photoshop CS5.

  You have installed the camera raw plugin and not filter raw from the camera.

  You can open files in camera raw using of bridge or just right click on the image and choose open in camera raw.

  and the image mode should be 8bits/channel to access the Gallery of filters.

  I could swear that I had 'Gallery of filters' filters available (artistic brush strokes, sketches...) CS5 64-bit. But tonight I realized that I can't see them in CS5 32 bit, not in the 64-bit version. Is this normal?

  Please note that I am * not * talk to be dimmed because of the image in 16 bits. It's just that they do not appear in the menu, as they do in the 32-bit version. I tried to copy the gallery.8bf file version from 32 to 64 one filter, but it does not work.

  Thanks, I was sure that they should be there, but since I don't use them often, I was in doubt.

  I can't think of anything I did to remove the filters Gallery - I'm really intrigued on how he could disappear (?). I have assumed that the 32 and 64-bit version of the 8bf file would be different, but wanted to give it a try just in case...

  After having lost some time trying to find the 64-bit "gallery.8bf filter" online, I decided to reinstall everything CS5 and Yes, just as you say, now the filters are there. It's a good thing that reinstall CS5 somehow intact keeps your preferences, workspace and plugins 3rd party! I just had to run the Adobe update and everything is back to normal.

• LR4 Rectangle box missing in the Menu filter graduated

  Hi all

  First question in the forum, could not find any relevant messages to my problem...

  Windows 7 64 bit family Premium Edition 2009

  LR 4.4

  Try to improve the images using the graduated filter.

  Graduated filter settings box appears and I can move the sliders, but there is no way to select the area of the image to apply the filters. On the pages of tutorial, I see a selection box rectangle next to the word color in the menu of graduated, filter settings on my version of LR, this box is missing.

  When I move the cursor over the image with the GF menu open, I get the cross cursor, but when I click on the image goes completely gray (disappears) and I have to load an image duplicated library.

  I downloaded the latest version of the LR4 and reinstalled, but the problem persists.

  I disabled my accelerations of improvements and NVIDIA graphics cards.

  Any help greatly appreciated - I am really frustrated with this problem and have searched for a solution for a few weeks now.

  Another couple of things you can try:

  1. in the graduated filter Panel, click on "Custom" for the dropdown menu, select restore the default Presets.   Then again click Customize and select color.  I get a box of dark blue color.

  2. double-click on the label of 'Color' to the left of the where the box should be.  Normally, clicking on the label (for example an exhibition) it reverts to its default value.

  The assumption here is that, somehow, the current custom settings for color has an invalid value 'poison' that causes LR to travel upward.

  I used a dynamic list on one page, with filtering. One of the fields using a drop-down menu, and I discovered the drop-down list only partial match. For example, if I have values such as;

  in the drop-down list, select 'Widget' in the filter will match all three of these values. My thought is that there should be an exact match of no partial match.

  The following should be considered as experimental, like it s never been documented - however, when your dynamic list to switch to the Code view, you should see a 'filter' section that starts like this:

  $tfi_listwhatever2-> addColumn ("tablename.columnname", "STRING_TYPE", "columnname", "%");

  the "addColumn" thing comes with 4 parameters:

  1 tablename.columnname (no need to change it, of course)

  2 data type of the current column, for example STRING_TYPE or Type_de_fichier (no need to change this too)

  3 alias the columnname (Don t change it too much)

  4 a parameter called 'compareType '.

  The "compareType" parameter is default always the value '%', which is translated internally by MYSQL´s 'LIKE' function of string comparison, which of course prevents the you´re of accurate looking for string matching.

  When you look at the 'includes/tfi/TFI_TableFilter.class.php' file, it seems that the MEASURE is supported by 4 variants of 'compareType ':

  1. the default of '% '.

  2. "A %".

  3. "%A".

  .. .which all internally translates into a comparison of strings "LIKE". But West another predefined variant which does not only:

  4. "="

  That said, please try with the help of '=' for the respective column, as I think that this should give you the exact string matching.

  I just thought of it. The layer was not selected in the layers palette. Once I chose it, everything I needed was not dimmed more.

  Still, I can't help but think that a picture that has only one layer this layer selected by default.

• Menu of Photoshop CC filter does not display plugins

  I have Photoshop CC 2015 on a Mac. I have the set of filter Topaz and Nik plugins. Yesterday, they revealed all in the menu filter. Today, with no new update anything, none of these filters appear in the menu filter. I suspect inadvertently, I did something to hide or disable plugins, but I can't understand how to get back them. I tried to reinstall all these plugins, they are in the Plugins directory in the application directory Photoshop, right where they should be, simply, they do not appear in the menu filter. I reinstalled and rebooted and done everything I can think of without success.

  I found the solution. In PS, general preferences, I had to hit the preferences to reset the button exit. I have quit smoking, revived, and all my filters were back. I still have no idea of what I did to lose the plugins, and of course I lose all my preferences, but at least I can get back to work.

  On windows I always use the shortcut ALT + T to open the menu filter in Photoshop. What do my job faster.

  OK... last problem with CS5.  I copied on my plugins of my CS4 folder in my folder of CS5, and they do not work.  Nothing appears in the menu filter.  Yes, I rebooted several times... and nothing.  Any ideas?

• CS4 filter Menu missing

  Hi all...

  My group at work using Illustrator for some time to create the Instruction Sheets for installation of door hardware.  We use a lot of arrows and had been quite dependent on the filter > esthetics > add arrowheads tool.  I do not see the menu filter more in CS4 and I was wondering if anyone knew if it was just hidden or if Adobe has decided to completely remove the menu.  I understand that many of the options in the menu Filter similar to the menu effect.  However, the application of the said effects/filters are in a different way.  If, in fact, it is no longer available, it will add an extra step every time that we create an arrow.  Fairly inefficient!

  For what it's worth, the menu filter in CS4 has been moved and changed. It is not entirely gone. It now appears only if you have installed third-party filters and it now appears under the menu object. If you don't have any installed third-party filters, you will not see it.

  I do not think that AICS4 comes with all of the 'filters '. All of these have been moved to the menu effects and facts of live effects. There are great advantages to that, but I can see how it can cause some rethinking the workflow.
