  The fonts are really small in the bookmark drop down menus.

  There is a Firefox extension that allows you to enlarge the fonts in the menu and toolbar. You could give this a try and see if it works for bookmarks, too:

  Running the mouse over these other selections from drop-down menus, in this condition, shows the target asking a html page, preceded by www.sdfti.com/template/ * .html.
  
  There is a big problem with the Student Services section.
  I modified the copy on the file index.html.
  
  The only links that work are those in the menu bar is a page set and point schedule link in the links of the left image.
  Links that fail are those in the menu drop down titled "links" and those of the image on the left labeled "enjoy San Diego" and "Weather links."
  
  
  What I've done wrong? How can I fix it? How do we prevent it?

• REGZA 37A3030DB menus come for a few seconds & disappear; works with the DVD

  Saturday afternoon, TV channels stopped working. The TV works fine with DVD or laptop, but not with the channels (i.e. we cannot watch live TV) and the menu buttons appear on the screen for 2 seconds max before disappearing.   Move the hardware acceleration slider until it is one notch to the right of none. It is the basis of acceleration.

• Using bar menus zooms automatically, you can not select anything

  When I want to use the menu bar (file, display, extra etc) then the menus open for a second in the normal way, but when the mouse moves, or by the use of the keyboard it automatically sort of zoom mode and then once not able to choose any in items that appears.
  Only when you move your mouse slowly and lots of luck, it is possible to select something.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

  (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

  • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
  • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

• Satellite A500-1HK hangs on StarCraft 2

  I bought Satellite A500-1HK just two days ago and almost immediately install StarCraft 2 :)
  (This game was one of the reasons for me to buy this laptop and I decided that instead of a Sony Vaio one.)

  The first time, I was surprised (I had Satellite A200 - 1 M 5 before, and the comparison was really interesting.) But, unfortunately, a few seconds after I start playing the computer freezes, the image was distorted on the rectangles, and I couldn't do anything, no mouse, no keyboard. Then, continuously press the power button to turn off. After that nothing has changed - activated the PhysX, vertical sync, but nothing helped. Even when I look at the reruns - it freezes just after a few seconds, and at every reboot, or I have to force it to stop.

  And a few minutes ago is the same thing I downloaded files via FTP, no games or 3D graphics. And which really scared me :(

  I think the problem with the driver for the graphics card, but I'm not very good material. So, please, help me.

  I think that you simply update the display driver or there is an update (patch) for StarCraft 2 I n t know because I n t have this game and laptop.

  Before installing newer display driver, remove the old version and restart the computer. After that, you can install the new display driver.

• Very bad resolution in the menus (models)

  I have a number of movies shot with a Canon Vixia HF10 camcorder. The camera settings are on NTSC with cadence 60, AVCHD.

  In my iMac (OS X vers.10.7.3), I have tried everything first to change my films in iMovie, but as soon as I discovered that iMovie does not correctly the AVCHD format.

  With Adobe Premiere Elements, I could however manage excellently AVCHD format. But when I got to the final stage in creating a menu

  my movies (I used models of first menu) the menus were very bad poor resolutions. I could see this time to 'Preview' and on DVD.

  The actual movies have been great with a real resolution AVCHD on DVD.

  Why this happens to you menus? I have to burn my movies without the menus?

  When you preview your DVD menus, looking for a version of what your final release will look like very low resolution. The document is intended to test the navigation. The menus and video will look much nicer once the file is rendered and output as a DVD or BluRay.

  Firefox is already granted outbound access to the Internet, so I surfed without additional warnings. So if I go on YouTube, I can watch videos without receiving a prompt from my firewall.

  However when I visit a secure account login page (where I have to enter my username and PW) the firewall warns me that 'Firefox tries to use Adobe Flash Player 11.8 r800 to access the Internet.

  A prompt like this is provided by the firewall when a program uses another Internet access. If for example I click on a link in MS Excel, the firewall will tell me that Excel tries to use Firefox to access the Internet.

  Makes me concerned is:
  (1) Firefox already has access privileges. It should not "use Flash to access the internet.
  (2) this happens when I am about to use the keyboard to enter sensitive data in a secure page
  (3) there is no [apparent] Flash elements on the login pages.

  Could I have acquired a malicious Flash software that tries to collect the keystrokes and transmit somewhere? Is there a way to show (in Firefox) which Flash file works at some point? (This would let me distinguish what is what makes the access attempt)

  I am completely protected with Antivirus, anti-spam and breach prevention software. I also run Norton Power Eraser to see if there was anything at the root level. Nothing found.

  Pages can use Flash, even when there is no video is displayed. For example some sites use Flash for menus, some for audio and some may load Flash in their Google Analytics scripts so that they know as much as possible on your system.

  In most cases, the Flash Player will try to load a. SWF file, even if maybe it's not always easy. You might look for it in the Firefox Web Console.

  When viewing the page, press Ctrl + Shift + k, the reload of the page. If there is a request to support Flash on the page, it should appear in the console (if the request is blocked by a firewall, it must nevertheless appear as pending a request). There is a search/filter box where you could try to enter .swf to reduce the time needed to go through the list. You can find the URL of the requested file? That might or might not make you comfortable on demand.

• Firefox Aurora - middle-click on the context menu no longer work correctly

  Recently, after one of the Aurora updates, Middle-click has stopped working properly for context menus. For example click View Image open above the image in a new tab. Now it just opens it in the same tab, as if it were a normal left click. It's very annoying.

  OK, I found the cause. It's an add-on called Omnibar and indeed I got to install it on my two auroras on PC at home and my laptop at work. Now it's time to contact the developer of the add-on and wait for an update.

• Firefox 9 looks identical to Firefox 8?

  So, I was very happy to upgrade to v9, however none of the features mentioned in the comments & reassessments are visible, even in the menus. For example, there is no big button Menu orange. It is identical to the previous one, despite saying 9.0.1 is in "about firefox". IM under winXP pro, is the problem, the new features are available in win7 or whatever it is 64-bit? I know it's an old system soon to be nuked, but it would be nice to run the new FF.
  The difference of only between 8 and 9 for this purpose is than 9 button barely the CPU usage, even with several tabs.

  The orange Firefox button is there by default on Windows Vista and Windows 7, not Windows 2000 or Windows XP you use.
