  There was an old Installer bug which could be related.  If it works in own account, copy the files back may work.

  Save your copies of the following files/folders from your user account and then copy backup versions of the proprietary.

  Macintosh HD / users / [username] / Library / Application Support / Adobe / Lightroom /.

• Are files created by Photo HDR merge into Lightroom CC/6 32 bit or 16 bit?

  I had the chance to play with Lightroom CC/6 this afternoon, probably like many of you. I am particularly excited by the HDR functionality integrated into the new version. After testing out I opened a newly created .dng of HDR in Photoshop and it is only 16-bit. I've been using Photoshop for Merge to HDR before this version of LIghtroom and was able to create incredible 32-bit files. Are the files generated by Lightroom 32-bit in nature? Is there a way to do this that I'm missing?

• Merge to Panorama, HDR Pro and open as layers fail in 2014 CC

  I had this problem for months.
  There was 2 updates of CC 2014 and remains still the question.

  I uninstalled all versions of Photoshop and Lightroom and re-installed 2014 CC and LR. Still the problem remains.

  I read in other posts on this forum, that the problem has been resolved and that the updated version now works correctly. This is not true for me.

  
  I can't use Merge Pano, HDR, or open as layers regardless of if I try to go in Photoshop or Lightroom.
  All dialog boxes to open images behave correctly: in PS, dialog boxes take me through the opening of files and allow me to select them and then click OK. But then the dialog window closes and nothing happens.
  It is the same from Lightroom; I get a warning about the Camera Raw plugin (which is 8.0.0.) but then it opens the window of dialogue of fusion and gives me the appropriate options and after I click OK, the dialog window closes and nothing happens.
  To be perfectly clear, when I say 'nothing happens, I don't mean NOTHING.' The program doesn't lock, no file opened, no error, nothing... I can look at my counters and they still tremble.

  This is exactly as expected. If you use the same treatment on the HDR image you will get about the same result as on the main raw image especially if your scene does not actually contain a lot of dynamics. We must be more aggressive with tools HDR in Lightroom, that are the highlights, shadows, black and white and local to see wider adjustments being accessible. Your images above don't really seem to be situations where the merger will give you a lot then you probably won't get a lot of benefits if you have little chance to see much of a difference.

  Note that tools such as Photomatix do this more aggressive treatment for you in their tone mapping function.

  Photomerge has been added in Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC 2015. Do you actually subscribe to the creative cloud? You pay a monthly fee to have Photoshop and Lightroom? If you are then you need to update because many of you have reported back. You'll photomerge until you upgrade.

  I use CS5.1 (version 12.1 x 64) on a Mac Pro, OS X 10.6.8. When I try to access "Merge to HDR Pro... "I get the error message"code JavaScript was missing. "How can I fix it? I have my old CS4 also on my drive if this is relevant.

• The trial of Lightroom Installation errors

  I downloaded the demo of lightroom two days ago and still have several errors when opening it upward and have not been able to use the product:
