Merge without a PDF form

I have a report generated internally in the work, and the only options in our reporting system is to print it, or print it as a pdf. It's over 100 pages and each page must be given to one person, one single email. Is it possible for me to use a merge and direct mail to send each page separately instead of save each manually and send? At the top of the report is the name, first name. I can also ask the it professional to add an e-mail address for each page, that is who will help you.

Thank you

Of course, it's fine as well.

What I mean is a script (written in JavaScript) that runs inside Acrobat, the email addresses of the recipients of the excerpts of each page and then divides the pages of individual files and emails to them.

    Hello

I would like to know what the goal is to import the PDF file? Normally we only do it if they wish, make the editable PDF content. And it usually is rare. Most of the time all you want is to present the PDF document. And in this case, it is easier to just add as a baggage file and link to it where it is needed.

  • I can automatically fill a PDF form with data from another file of the Government?

It would be on a platform Windows (ideally for XP and Windows 7).

    Hi Mike,.

Yes you can import data to a PDF file from another data file using option "Import data" in Acrobat. AXI supports the .fdf, the .xfdf, the .xfd, .xml and .txt file formats. I'm not sure the version of Acrobat you have, but here I am you provide the links of the AXI and AX online help documentation. Please post back if you need more information:

  • Export XML or PDF form .csv

Is it possible to place a button or a macro in a PDF form that would allow a user to automate extraction complete XML on the PDF form data without using the e-mail feature? What I would do is to automate forms-> manage form data-> merge data files in the process of the spreadsheet - for XML and .csv - or both.

I'm a newbie to LiveCycle and javascript - so the solution may be beyond my comprehension, but thought I would ask the question there.

There is no equivalent command XFA for this, but you can access the command AcroForm. It will bring the dialogue recording and the user must take the file name (default one is provided) and location to store the file. For security reasons, you cannot completely automate recording. I have not tried it myself, but the command would be:

    event.target.exportAsText)

  • PDF form with several auto pages copy text in fields on the following pages

I created a PDF form with multiple pages. I started with an Illustrator file, then exported to Acrobat to make it complete. For some reason any, however, when users enter text on the first page and try to continue on the other, the text on the first page only auto copies on the following pages. And if you delete what was on the second page (or third) to enter the correct data, which provides information on the first page.

I guess it must be something that twisted when I was creating the form, so I don't know if there is a way to fix without all over again.

    Thank you!

Give a unique name to each field. The fields with the same name are copies of each other and will automatically have the same value.

  • Official RP-5217-PDF form barcode of Directorate of taxes New York not no projection in DC, but shows that in earlier versions of Adobe Reader and Acrobat Pro.  Is there a solution? or is the broken form?

New York requires the fulfillment of its RP-5217-PDF form for all real estate closings.  The form automatically generates a bar code.  My office uses Apple/Mac computers and the barcode appears in all versions of Adobe Reader and Acrobat Pro before DC.  DC watch version the form without a bar code.  The form is available here: https://www.tax.ny.gov/pdf/current_forms/orpts/rp5217.pdf is there a preference setting in DC that I'm missing, or is broken for the most recent version of the Adobe on a Mac?  Help, please.

I thought it was resolved in the continuous version of Acrobat and Reader, but maybe not... You can report the problem here: feature request/Bug Report Form

A workaround would be to upgrade to XI player for now. I agree this is a major issue and hope Adobe will solve it soon.

  • PDF form coming in the e-mail, but no form fields are filled

I want to open a full PDF file and not an XML file which is sent when someone fills out a form online.  So, I made a document in Word, saved as a PDF, and then imported into LiveCycle Designer 8.0.  From there on, I created the fields in the form, add a button for the email out because the stock e-mail button does not work properly from what I've read (change the command send, add the e-mail address and change submitted as a PDF file) and save the document.  I then have an open document in Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro.  Go to advanced and choose enable usage rights in Adobe Reader.  Then save this file under a new name.  Then I can the PDF by e-mail to someone or put it on my site.

    Here's the problem:

When someone fills out the form, it will automatically send automatically to the correct mailbox (good).  The PDF file opens and the PDF form looks like that I designed this (good).  But all form fields that have been filled... nothing appears. all I see is my PDF (bad) form.  I tried at least a dozen ways over the past two days to create the PDF... but when the received PDF file is opened later, none of the form fields are visible with what someone types in.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?  I'm not good at Adobe, but I'm learning.  I can understand most of the things, but this problem is driving me crazy.

    Thank you!

Thr default iOS or iAnything PDF Viewer does not support on a PDF form fields.

Without knowledge of the programs and specific systems, it is difficult to answer.

Overview programme Apple on Macintosh systems is known to have problems with the form, and it corrupts form fields insofar as they do not display the data unless the user is in the field. It is also know to make simple PDFs unreadable.

There could also be problems with various mail programs because PDF forms contain binary data and not simple text.

  • Help!  Can I add an additional field to an existing PDF form?

I have an existing PDF I created from a Word Doc and have made this PDF file in a form with many drop-down list fields, specially formatted fields, fields, ect.

Now I need to add another field of this form (i.e. a table "office use only"), however I don't want to do it in the Word Doc, convert to PDF and then having to recreate the PDF form from scratch, I did a huge amount of work, the creation of all fields in the form.

Is there a way I can make the necessary changes to my Word Doc, covert, he to a new PDF and then merge to my existing PDF, while keeping all the form fields is just to add an additional field that and as I can then turn it into form fields?

I already tried - to create the table in Word, print screen, save it in JPEG format and insert into my existing PDF.  The picture is not as crispy as it should be and looks like a ' add to ' I don't really want to.

The table I want to insert has formatting special meets a company style guide, so I really need to create it in Word to keep the required formatting.

    HELP PLEASE!

    Hi jlgrobbelaar,

Yes, you can use the Replace Pages to keep all the form fields and scripts, as they are now in your original PDF.  Here is a tutorial on the use of Pages - replace

    https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/how-to-replace-the-background-pages-in-a-PDF-form

If you add your new field/area to the form results in changes of layout for the form then you may need to move the fields in place, but it's better than having to add everywhere.

    Hope this helps,

    Dimitri

  • I need to know if there is a way to EXPORT information from OLD PDF forms in a file C.S.V.

    Hello

I need to know if there is a way to export DATA from PDF forms, we have done over the past 2 years into a CSV file so I can add to my customer database? I hope that there is a simple way to do it. Please let me know if there are.

    Hi TCCTech,

There are two or three option as *.fdf, *.xml. That later, you can convert to CSV using third-party applications.

Or you can merge with the existing worksheet.

    Kind regards

    Ajlan Huda.

  • Is it possible to integrate an editable PDF form in an html page?

I have the form (editable) PDF I want users to be able to connect and complete. Once filled, they would click a "submit" button, and the PDF file is saved to the database. Is it possible to use a PDF file - without creating a form customized with British Colombia? Thank you!

It is not possible, you * may * be able to get the PDF file integrated via an iframe, but you certainly wouldn't be able to save the information, at least on the server.

  • Send a PDF form via HTTP Post: Newbie Questions

    Hello

I am completely new to PDF forms, so I was finding the documentation and the overwhelming options.

I'm hoping to get directed to the documentation/tutorials/examples that I really need.

I want to build a 'proof of concept' for my boss.  I would like to include a screen in our webapp Java (JSP & spring) where either a PDF form is incorporated or is accessible via a link.

    I have

    • Standard Adobe Acrobat Distiller X license
    • Adobe Acrobat X Standard
    • Microsoft Office 2010

I made a little, the form of Microsoft Word 3 field.  I then he converted via distill into a PDF form.

I then found this document on how to submit a PDF form to a component side Server:

    http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/form-submit-e-mail-Demystified

My big problem with this document, is not an example, nor an example of what is happening in an HTML page complete.   Because I I have a few questions:

    1. I see such an example somewhere?
    2. The result of the call to the javascript function doc. SubmitForm (urlToMyServerSideComponent) go in a script tag on the HTML page as other javascripts?
    3. Can I submit the function from an HTML button run or I put a button 'send' the PDF form?
    4. Do I need Adobe LiveCycle to create a PDF form with a button "submit"?  Free versions?
    5. Can I send via HTTP POST?
    6. Do I need Adobe LiveCycle to create a PDF form with a digital signature?
    7. Is there a document/tutorial that fits where I want to? (Please no books, I am tyring to show to my boss that this is something which can be done in a reasonable amount of time, no time to get and go through a book).

Thanks in advance for things which make me pointed in the right direction

This seems to imply that I can do a such acroform without using an application or can I use an application with an option to write code by hand.  Am I wrong?  If yes could tell me on the document from the beginner to learn how to do this?    I have acrobat, but I don't have the 'send to server' option in the menu to distribute.

No, you would use Acrobat to add the button and configure. As said earier, you want not to use distribute the form for this type of shape. Simply add a button on one of the pages of the PDF and give a mouse action upward to "submit a form":

The video tutorial contains more information on the treatment of the submission on the server. Again, do not use the option to distribute the form in Acrobat.

  • How to create a data base so that PDF forms will populate the database, because they are submitted?

I am trying to create PDF forms that will be filled by several members of an organization. I want to be transmitted electronically and then complete a database so that the data does not have to be reintegrated into a database.

I usually use Microsoft access but certainly know how to use the values separated by comma (CSV) or Microsoft Excel.

Currently, I use Acrobat X Pro.

Acrobat has a built-in feature that will create a CSV file for a range of responses that you receive, full PDF or data files (FDF). In Acrobat 10 you would select: Tools > forms > more shape Options > manage form data > merge data files into spreadsheet

If you have distributed the form so that you receive responses in the Tracker, there is an option export to CSV so when displaying answers.

  • Creation of pdf forms to a Word doc that will have to be changed in the future

OK, I searched everywhere for an answer to this situation... and I want to know if there is a work around.

Basically I have a word document. I use this Word document to create a request form. So I manually create the fields as needed after I converted the document to pdf format.

Now, here's the question... at some point, the Word document will have to be changed... maybe a date or an address or something. That would mean I need to change the original Word document, to recreate the form (all fields by adding once again) and republish.

Can I modify the text in the PDF (with fields already in place) without having to change the file word of origin and re - create the shape?

Someone had this problem? I'm doing something wrong? Or is there an assumption that the Word document original that allows you to create your form (pdf) will not be changed at a later date?

    Thank you.

  • Signature of a PDF form

I would like to create a PDF form that my service technicians can use in the field of service of report tickets. Technology will have the customer sign the form. How can I do this with Acrobat X Pro without additional software?

Technicians will use the Asus Eee tablets with digitizer pen, which will be used to sign. The tablet will have only Acrobat Reader X installed.

Sorry about that, I assumed it was the Android version. Adobe Reader should work just fine then, assuming that the signature with the pencil tool is sufficient. This is the same as the tool 'apply ink Signature '. The document will be enough be enabled for the drive.
