• How to transfer messages from the Inbox to another mailbox?

  I need all the messages in my Inbox that I do not delete to access a specific mailbox. An alternative is to send all incoming messages directly to this mailbox. I can't find a way in the preferences to do this. Is there a way?

  Reason: Inbox is not synchronized in iCloud. When you use the MBA and scatters messages manually I have to start over all when the iMac. And the messages still in the Inbox of the computer, that they have been downloaded are not in the other computer.   I read the post on the copy the messages from the Inbox to another folder.  I tried, but get an error message.  I decided that I would just delete all but the messages will not delete.  I used the search function of windows to search for inbox.dbx, but he could not find the file.  I have a large number of messages in my Inbox and its ok if I lose all.  I get the error message when I start outlook express and download messages from my pop3 e-mail.  It still downloads messages from one of my other emails which is also a pop3 server.  I have windows xp pro and it is completely up to date.  Thank you...

  This issue may occur because of corrupted inbox in Outlook express.

  Perform the following troubleshooting steps and check if this solves the problem.

  Step 1:

  Create a new folder and move all mail from your Inbox to the new folder in Outlook Express.

  Follow these steps:

  a. click on the file menu.

  b. Select the folder and select new.

  c. give an appropriate name for the folder.

  d. Select all mails in the inbox and move to a different folder.

  e. move mail to the new folder.

  Step 2:

  I suggest to delete the Inbox.dbx file in your computer.

  In Windows XP Outlook Express files user (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under Start, Control Panel, Folder Options and view.

  Follow the steps to delete the Inbox.dbx file.

  a. close Outlook Express.

  b. use the search option to find the box of Inbox.dbx.

  c. delete the Inbox.dbx file.

  Note: Another will be created automatically when you open Outlook Express.

  You did not mention what e-mail program you use. These instructions will help you with Outlook Express.

  Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox if you can and move the messages you want to record off deleted items, and sent items. Locate the OE message store and then close OE.

  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden.   After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

  Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

  Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes.   Thanks for the help. It seems #3 was the question. I disabled my wireless e-mail reconciliation according to the instructions in the attached items. Has not dropped an email every day.

• Outlook express 6.0 will not remove messages from my Inbox

  Quite suddenly OE will not delete messages in my Inbox after that I read the using the button Delete 'X' some but it will be no more.  They can be removed by using ctrl-alt-delete.  My boxes of sent and deleted items are almost empty.  This has only become a less of an issue these days.  I'm open to suggestions.

  It seems to be a corruption of dbx file. Easy to fix.

  I recently started to notice that my hub was Facebook Inbox messages. Shortly after, I have many of them, that I can't remove. Even after having the phone turned off, by pulling on the battery, turn it back on, delete the messages in my Inbox real FB on my phone or my cell. I don't want these messages, implemented.   I install Thunderbird with Gmail and it works like a charm. The only complaint I have is that the new mail notification seems to grasp a selection of emails unread from different folders and often it does not show the new relevant emails in my Inbox. ESP. the all mail folder seems to provoke the doubling of message notifications, but this isn't the only one.

  All I want is my Inbox for new e-mail notifications. Is there anyway to change the current behavior?

  I hope someone can help me - this happened to me 3 times where my gmail my Inbox on my iphone-related inexplicably now - has all messages in gmail 'important' removed from anywhere in gmail and always first noticed in my phone inbox. I am inclined to think that this has something to do with my phone that I never had this problem until the last 6 months, after the software upgrades. Can someone explain please how to fix this? I think it has something to do with POPP settings but I don't know enough tech to understand what it means and also understand that could be a problem with gmail configuration. ANY HELP would be, oh so so so appreciated. I use my Inbox as my to do list now, once again, there are emails there I won't be able to respond to the.

Tonight, I noticed that almost all of the emails in my Inbox were deleted.  If I navigate to another e-mail folder and return to the Inbox of messages more get erased.  The missing e-mails are not appearing in the file delete either.

  Go to your Inbox > view > current view > check show all Messages.

• After that installation of Windows 10 cannot remove messages from the Inbox and was told to change my browser.

  I can't delete the emails often. Sometimes if I score one or two to remove it will work. When I have several and click on remove nothing happens.   I understand that the messages will not be deleted when you manage your webmail in Firefox. I'd be more than happy to help, however I might suggest trying first Safe Mode to ensure that it is not not a hardware acceleration or add on interfering with the operation of the site.
