Hello

I have installed Cloud Control, Version 4, running on Oracle Linux Server version 6.6. I tried to install a plugin (Oracle virtualization), but it fails. It runs for several hours.

I tried to stop and restart the SGD, rebootet machine etc. but nothing helps. How will I know what went wrong or how I have give up this deployment?

Kind regards

Carsten

Salvation for me :) I couldn't install the plugin, but it is possible to restart the SGD. In the shell, I used the command pluginca: $OMS_HOME/bin/pluginca - action deploy - id = virtualization plugin plugins could not be installed, but this removes the error, and after that, I could start the SGD.

    To my UCM_Server1 content WebCenter.

    As I already have a WebCenter content I have to follow the second part of the note

    How to install and configure the UI content with WebCenter content 11.1.1.8.0 and 11.1.1.9.0 (Doc ID 1618305.1).

    Install and configure content WebCenter ADF WebUI against WebCenter Content Server

    Step 1) install the MDS schema

    (Step 2), install the Weblogic Server

    11 GR 1 material step 3) DOWNLOAD and install Oracle Application Development Framework (11.1.1.6.0) in the new WebUI WLS Middleware House, found here

    Step 4) Download and apply Patch 16, 546 129.

    Step 5) Download and apply Patch 16, 546 157.

    Step 6) download and apply the Patch and then 19,469,801, 18,102,108 Patch

    Step 7) copy the wccadf files in the field of user interface

    Step 8) Oracle on demand services (MDS) metadata registry

    Step 9) Place the WebCenter content domain user interface model

    Step 10) run the Setup Wizard on the new home of Middleware WebUI to create the new domain

    Step 11) updated the Oracle ADF of shared libraries

    Step 12) start the domain WebUI administration server

    Step 13) Save target Managed Server with the MDS repository and create the metadata partition

    Step 14) start the server managed WebUI.

    Step 15) associate UI WebCenter content to Content Server.

    Step 16) reboot the WebUI ADF server managed.

    Step 17 access the WebUI

    Step 18) complete the Configuration of the workflow

    Step 19) apply the latest Patch Bundle content UI of WebCenter

    MY DOUBT IS:

    To read the steps that I understood, to 19, with success, in the end, I will have an another WebLogic with a domain name and its respective EM.

    I have two servers weblogic?

    portal_domain (explained above) and a new wccui_domain wls and domain.

    This fix it?

    Two WLS to keep WebCenter portal and content, and other elements.

    Because I'm not able to do with the WLS even where I UCM_server1 today?

    Thanks for all suggestions and criticism.

    Yes, up to 11.1.1.9.0, you will need to install a new wls House (new wls server admin) and then configure WCC ui there. User interface and COE will not work in the same field. You can have the portal and content under the same House of wls and install a new one for the user interface.

    This is due to a problem with ADF and WCC libraries.

    With 12 c, this dependence is not there, and you can install / configure all 3 (Portal, content and adf ui) applications on the same domain.

  • Video metadata date is incorrect: the value and not of creation date sharing

    10 iOS, iPhone 6 +, Windows 10. Photos and videos are shared through iCloud, but NOT stored in iCloud.

    Once synced on my PC, the photos and videos have a truncated name (for example, "016a1f2e11dfcc680e1009cb96346b67678fb2c6bc.jpg"). Of course, this is not acceptable at all to me when I organize them on my NAS: I prefer a significant, sortable name, as "2016-09-16 18-15-20259 (Apple iPhone 6 more) .jpg.

    To do this, I simply read the EXIF information directly from the image, and I rename the image accordingly. No problem for the photos.

    But for videos... I do the same, in the world, but with less information. I can extract only creation date/time from metadata of the videos, not the unit that captured video. Sad, but I have not found anything else, and at least it's automatic.

    Recently, I found that the date in the video file is NOT correct: this is the timecode of SHARING via iCloud, not the timecode CAPTURE. I have therefore some videos with a delta of two weeks between the true creation as well as the "official" date

    I checked this on my phone: date is correct (once the video is no longer in full screen, the date is displayed at the top of the screen, and it is 'the' date I'm looking).

    So, question: How can I get the date of the 'real' creation of all these videos on my PC? It exists: it appears on the iPhone that took the video (a woman) AND mine. Information is 'lost' only on the PC, but I think it's a problem of reading of 'bad' metadata (I use FFMPEG to get currently), or the wrong file for reading (perhaps within an iTunes/database file, but didn't find, not found in the registry or the other).

    Best solution is to find something operate locally, through the command line, to do it in batch mode. A solution of GUI PEUT agree if I can automate with AutoIt (i.e. should not be a native Win32 application, not Java, .NET, GTK, QT and so on, OR must have an export feature). A solution based on the web is not suitable, but can be less boring to review each video one after another to manually check the date.

    Thanks in advance.

    In my opinion, the only way to fix this is with third-party software like this one.

  • Not displaying not metadata

    Version 1.2.1 of the Browse catalyst

    Images of F5 and FS7 - where I used to see metadata info, now it shows just the circular arrows all the time.

    Also as a note aside, every time I left catalyst browse, the process continues to run and I leave the Task Manager.

    Have uninstalled and reinstalled - same question.

    Win7 64 bit

    We will try a clean uninstall and reinstall of the software, which is a little different to a normal uninstall.

    First, uninstall Catalyst normally browse through Control Panel | Program and features.

    Then, delete the following folders:

    C:\Program Files\Sony\Catalyst Browse

    C:\Program Sony installation program

    Finally, we will need to go into the registry and delete only a couple, specific things. Please just delete following text:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sony Creative Software\Catalyst Browse

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Sony Creative Software\Catalyst Browse

    Once it's done, please reboot your machine. And then reinstall it from this link: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/catalystbrowse

    After reinstalling, if please reboot once more and then retest catalyst Browse.

  • Change the drop-down list of AutoComplete for kind of metadata in music files

    How can I get rid of the entries, unwanted metadata AutoComplete drop-down list boxes in my windows music files.  Specifically in the list of genres.  It seems that everything I never typed in the field of the type is in the list.  The list is very long and includes the wrong spelling, genres, I wish not to use, etc.).  The unwanted entries do not seem to go away if I do not use them.  Is anyway to fix this?

    In case you didn't see my answer below, I'm post it here as well.

    I had the same problem and finally found an answer with the registry editor.  It is explained here:

    Run regedit, and then select HKEY_CURRENT_USER-> software-> Microsoft-> Mediaplayer-> AutoComplete.  You will find lists of AutoComplete items and just delete the ones you don't want to have there.
    I hope this helps!

    Immediately followed by an error (event ID 137) that says "on the C: volume default transaction resource manager encountered a one-time error and could not start. The data contains the error code. »

    I am running windows 7 ultimate in any way to solve this problem?

    Hello

    This problem occurs if the Windows file system transaction log is damaged. The Windows file system uses the transaction log to retrieve the system transactions when a file error occurs. The system of common log (CLFS) transaction logs may be left in an inconsistent state. When the CLFS transaction logs are in an inconsistent state.
    To resolve this problem, delete the files .blf and .regtrans-ms in the folder % Windir%\System32\SMI\Store\Machine.
    After you restart the computer, the registry regenerates the deleted files. These regenerated files are in a consistent state.
    1. click on Start , type cmd in the Search box, and then click cmd in the list of programs .

    2. click on run as administratorand then click continue.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

    3. at a command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
    fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\
    Note
    these steps assume that Windows is installed in the default location, drive C. If this is not the case, adjust the drive letter of the path of the folder to match your configuration.

    4 restart the computer.

    Hi guys,.

    I am creating an interface to metadata (out-of-the-box) to Fusion (source) to a HFM application. I have successfully completed the following activities:

    -Registry system source

    -Configure entities accounting source

    -Initialize the source system

    -Target registry system

    -Create the import format (Fusion of application HTP) that corresponds to the account dimension in the target application the COA account segment from the source system.

    -Create the location, connected to the high import format

    -Create the metadata rule

    When I try to run the rule of metadata, it triggers the following error in the step "design EPMA import profile for dimension ERPI system profile 5:

    2015-03-09 13:04:32, 456 [AIF] INFO: [exportMetadataToEPMA: 201] end (java.lang.Exception: javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: server was unable to process request.---> System.FormatException: input string is not in a correct format.)

    I'm new type of debugging using FDMEE, but I am not mistaken, he finds a string where I shouldn't be finding a string somewhere in the metadata? I looked in the source system metadata, but I see not all metadata 'string. Hello

    Looks like you might need to work on ensuring that FDMEE can talk to EPMA.

    Also take a look at the following doc:

  • Backup of Shared Services registry

    Hi all

    When it means a backup of registry of Shared Services, we can do the LCM export of metadata from deployment-> law of registry of SSP?

    And I also back to the top of the discharge of the Oracle.

    Everything I need to make a backup of.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

    The registry is contained in the relational database of Shared Services, so in theory, if you have a backup of that you are covered, you can also export using LCM, as you said.

    See you soon

    I did a test here, and it worked as:

  • Photoshop crashes when editing metadata information

    We use Photoshop CS3 on our Mac G5 under Leopard. When we open a JPG or EPS file and try to change the metadata it completely blocks Photoshop. It does not matter what meta data field, we are editing happens to each of them. Don't know what has changed on the system we did not update recently. Thought it might be a preferences file corrupt, but not sure that one to delete? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Sincerely,

    Courtney

  • Planning for the issue metadata.

    Hello

    I could hear a strange Essbase planning architecture information. Ideally, all changes in the Planning would reflect in Essbase post Refresh. Is there one or the other way around? say that any change in Essbase will update in the Planning? Maybe is not in the latest versions, all the versions old or older in planning?
    In addition, planning is never directly on Essbase (older versions), I mean with a relational repository?

    Please let me know.

    Some Versions will be repeated.

    Planning emphasizes the management of metadata (contour, members, etc.). and pushing these changes to Essbase. Planning has always been a relational repository. The relational repository has pretty much everything on your application planning in there except the actual data. Never try to directly edit the essbase cube in a planning application. If you do something like Plum and the registry, you may cause the entire application to stop working.

  • Adding new metadata XMP in the new illustrator document...

    App: application var = Illustrator.app;

    var doc: Document = app.activeDocument;

    var xmpString:String is doc. XMPString;

    var xmpMeta: XMPMeta = new XMPMeta (xmpString);

    var myNamespace: Namespace = new Namespace ("test", "http://test.thisiscool");

    xmpMeta.myNamespace::stringName = 'supercooling';

    var tmp: String = xmpMeta.serialize ();

    doc. XMPString = tmp;

    If I execute the block of code above, I find myself with the following metadata in the document:

    "" < RDF rdf: about = "".

    xmlns:ns1 ="http://test.thisiscool" >. "

    < ns1:stringName > supercool < / ns1:stringName >

    < / RDF: Description >

    Why the prefix default "ns1" when I pointed out that it should be "test"?

    The documentation says that you can save your own custom prefixes. But it does not weather it is possible to do otherwise programmatically.  Is it?  If this is not the case, how? :

    The prefixes are not stored in the data model, but only in the namespace URI. The Analyzer collects namespace prefixes, to be used when the same XMPMeta object is serialized after modification. For the standard Adobe namespaces defined in the XMP specification: part 2, standard schemas, default namespaces are stored in a global namespace of the library registry. You can also save prefixes customized for your own namespaces; If the serializer does not have a prefix that is recommended for a certain namespace, it generates with prefixes of the form "ns1", "ns2" and so on.

    Try the following command to save the pair namespace:

    var xmpMeta:XMPMeta = new XMPMeta (xmpString);

    var myNamespace:Namespace is new Namespace ("test", "http://test.thiscool");.

    If (xmpMeta.getNamespace (myNamespace.prefix)! = myNamespace.uri)

    {

    myNamespace = xmpMeta.registerNamespace (myNamespace.uri, myNamespace.prefix, true);

    }

  • To the help of title or legend in metadata...

    So I like the develop module in LR I must say that I find the most difficult to understand library module. I am currently trying to decide how best to identify the images during the import. For example, I have a lot of photography of boat and want to images of label with the name of the boat during the import. In the metadata Panel of both a title and a legend entry line exists and I think that the title line is the best place to insert the name of the boat. At the same time, it is not at all clear to me, what kind of information is meant by the term Caption. Which of the two commercials would be preferable to enter the name of the boat or other text identification. Also, if I had a series of shots of the same boat is there a way for me to enter only once and applied it to all selected images.

    In the MOM/Pop iPhoto everything we had to do is enter the name of the boat in the comments Panel. Will there be an equivalent LR3 simple straight forward?

    Thank you!

    The short answer: I recommend putting the name of the boat in the legend, no title.

    A longer answer: industry standards define the use of the title and legend reasonably precisely, but a lot of communities, tools, and workflows to interpret differently. If you plan to share your photos with others, you could given what tools will be used to access the metadata of photos and how they handle the Title and Caption fields.  Take some photos of the sample set their title and legend in LR, save the metadata to a file and then view the file in other tools.

    IPTC standards define title, caption and Description and title as:

    Title: A reference abbreviated for the digital image. Title provides a readable name short humans who may be a text and/or a digital reference. It is not the same as the title. Enter a short name verbal and human readable image, this can be the name of the file. Many use the field title to store the name of the image file, even if the field can be used in many ways. Official identifiers are provided by the Digital Image identifier, or the property of the IPTC Extension registry entry.

    Caption (Description): A text description, including captions, of the image. Enter a "legend" describing the who, what and why what is happening in this picture, this may include the names of individuals, or their role in the action that takes place within the image.

    Title: A brief summary of the legend. Title is not the same title. Enter a publishable summary or a summary of the content of the image

    These standards were initially set years ago for the photographers from the media professional and later extended to encompass many different uses.   But for better or worse, there are many tools, communities and workflows that use these fields in different ways from those prescribed by the standards.

    For example, when you publish a photo on Flickr, it will fill its title of the title of the picture field if it exists, otherwise it uses the file name.   But much (maybe more) users of Flickr use his title as a short caption field (for example, as a title), and encourages the design of Flickr.

    Another example, Windows Live Photo Gallery will appear as its 'legend' metadata title if it exists, otherwise the caption/Description of metadata. When you change the field of its "Caption", he wrote in the metadata title and caption/Description of metadata fields.

    All tool and hearing of your photos, you can therefore choose to pay for your use of the title and legend to better integrate into their way of doing things.

  • Deletion of metadata selections

    I'm not trying to remove the metadata for a file, but I'm trying to remove metadata selections.  I have old metadata that have typos in them.  I would like to delete.  In the image below, I have given in the IPTC Image called kind intellectual section.  In this article I have typo, that I want to go around.  When I was with CS2, I could go into the file and modify the data or delete it.  I should be able to do the same thing with these selections from drop-down list.  Unfortuately I've not been able to find where they are stored.  I looked where they store models and the section of Windows 7 user and I am at a loss of the place where ele to watch.  I also did a search for files that have been modified today fine.  I made a change today so I could try to find what file I need to change

    Thank you, Davidmetadata.jpg

    I don't think that you can edit directly the list of entries that appear as a feature 'most recently used '.

    These types of lists are usually stored in the Windows registry and they may be affected by the change in the registry, but is not recommended.

    Hello

    If the files on disc with voting rights are in a disk group, know that groups of disks with files Oracle Clusterware (OCR and voting disk files) have a more minimal number of failure than other groups of disks.
    If you create a group of records as part of the installation in order to install the OCR and files on the drive to vote, then the installation program requires that you create these files on a disk group with at least 2 GB of free space.

    A lack of quorum group is a special type of the failure group and these groups of failed disks contain no user data. A group of lack of quorum is not considered when determining the requirements of the redundancy for storage of user data. However, a lack of quorum group account when mounting a disk group.

    For the Oracle Clusterware installation, you must also add the additional disk space for Oracle ASM metadata. You can use the following formula to calculate the disk space required (in MB) for the OCR and voting disk files and metadata from Oracle ASM:

    total = [2 * ausize * discs] + [redundancy * (ausize * (nodes * (+ 1) + 30 clients) + (64 * nodes) + 533)]

    Where:

    redundancy = number of mirrors: external = 1, normal = 2, high = 3.

    ausize = size in megabytes metadata.

    nodes = number of cluster nodes.

    clients - the number of instances of database for each node.

    drives - number of disks in the disk group.

    See the link below for more details...

    I recommend you to read the entire section 3.3.1.1.
