Not displaying not metadata

Version 1.2.1 of the Browse catalyst

Images of F5 and FS7 - where I used to see metadata info, now it shows just the circular arrows all the time.

Also as a note aside, every time I left catalyst browse, the process continues to run and I leave the Task Manager.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled - same question.

Win7 64 bit

We will try a clean uninstall and reinstall of the software, which is a little different to a normal uninstall.

First, uninstall Catalyst normally browse through Control Panel | Program and features.

Then, delete the following folders:

C:\Program Files\Sony\Catalyst Browse

C:\Program Sony installation program

Finally, we will need to go into the registry and delete only a couple, specific things. Please just delete following text:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sony Creative Software\Catalyst Browse

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Sony Creative Software\Catalyst Browse

Once it's done, please reboot your machine. And then reinstall it from this link: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/catalystbrowse

After reinstalling, if please reboot once more and then retest catalyst Browse.

How to display XMP metadata in Adobe Reader?

I created a PDF with XMP metadata (I think), and I want of course to check it has been done correctly.  However, it is not obvious how to display it in Adobe Reader (I use 11.0.04 on OS X).  Autour Googling, I found a flippant remark that Reader is not able to do this, but it's obviously insane - what is the point of license metadata if no one can see it?  What is - that I'm missing?

    Best wishes

I can tell you that the metadata about the object 52 0 is properly integrated with the PDF, and therefore the metadata document. See this screen shot in Acrobat X, which I get to by clicking on the additional metadata button.

There is no error if the user is set to a super administrator.

Did anyone know what roles or the credentials must be set to view this report as an administrator?

    Hello

You must grant the user roles view access to employment version of comparison.

    To do this:

    • Go to the page work activity.
    • Select Status: Succeeded, click OK.
    • Select the version of comparison work and click on modify.
    • Click the Access tab, and then add.

  • Bridge CC 2015 recording Downloader not metadata

When I was in Yosemite, the Photo Downloader would save my metadata (Advanced settings) as well as the last save location and other boxes information as"delete". After the installation of new SSD for my machine, OS (El Capitan 10.11.6), as well as the latest version of the bridge, I have to start from scratch every time that I have download. Anyone have any idea of why these preferences will not save as before?

    Hi Kyle,.

I'll connect with you by e-mail to identify repeatable steps.

If the bridge CC photodownloader works well for you, the bridge CC 2015 photodownloader should also. I expect that there is no change in Photodownloader for these two versions.

  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit: MP3 edition & display of metadata in windows explore

I have a question about WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM 64 BIT and edit and display METADATA of MP3 files in windows Explorer. Windows Explorer does not allow me to change the metadata (contributing artists, genre, year, etc.) on some of my MP3 files. Change is made at the bottom of the browser or right click on the MP3 file and edit in the Details tab in the properties. Sometimes the metadata are referred to as tags.

The error I get when I try to change metadata in windows Explorer is:

Error 0x8007000D: the data is invalid

This is a new computer and Windows 7 is pre-installed.

    Help please!

I'd even though my library removing these hidden ID3v2.4 tags, I found a quick, if making mp3tag. Select a whole bunch of songs (no matter if they have the extra layer of ID3v2.4 tags) and remove the labels. Then click on the Cancel button. During the cancellation he writes only ID3v2.3 tags and remove the hidden ID3v2.4 tags. This way is easier because I don't have to worry about destroying it the tag data id3 files that do not have the problem.

  • Why the metadata of the distance is not displayed?

The display of metadata from Bridge does not distance (from the camera to the subject). There is no remote option in preferences-> metadata. However, the distance info is in the sidecar file. CS5 and earlier revealed that information but doesn't CS6. I missed something, is this a bug or is this some kind of a new perverted feature? Thanks for any help.

I contacted Nikon and am awaiting a response. Unfortunately, Adobe doesn't provide a way for the user to define the metadata fields. I'm going to guess that between the two giants, I'm going to be left to a MS Publisher, for example, Notepad, to look in the metadata file. OOP.

gener7, thank you for taking the time to answer answer.

  • Bridge CS6 not displaying not full metadata

I have CS5 and am playing with CS6.  So far so good, impressed overall.

I would like to have the bridge set up to display the metadata for each image, and when I view the metadata, it is not as complete as what I see in bridge CS5 version.

More specifically, I like being able to see the Distance to the subject, which was recorded for the camera/lens combination that I use.  In Bridge CS5, the distance between the subject shows very well, but it is totally absent in CS6.  I have confirmed this is the case with my Canon 1 d Mark IV and Canon 7 d wife.

Also, I love to see the ISO as well.  In Bridge CS5, it shows as "ISO speed ratings" while in Bridge CS6, it shows as "Photographic sensitivity (ISO)" - kind of excessive.  If I only check "ISO" speed - nothing shows up.

To do this, I did ensure that * all * the metadata in the Preferences menu options have been selected for display, but despite this, the distance between the subject is not displayed (and ISO labelling is a bit wordy for my taste).

Also, I posted this in the general of the PS Forum and received a response from a user who, for some of its old NEF files, Bridge CS5 and CS6 shows the distance between the subject correctly, while for some latest NEF files, he showed in CS5, but not CS6.

I guess it's a bug, where the bridge is hard to read the fields of metadata for different raw files, but I welcome any advice on how to get it to display the distance from the subject, which is contained in the metadata.  And if all goes well report this bug will lead to sound attaches some time on the road.

    Thank you.

If you want to display the data in the metadata Panel, here is how...

Create folders that are not so that you have a path as follows...

    C:\Users\USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\XMP\Custom Panels\4.0\custom information file

Save the following code with a file name of exifAUX.xml in the folder above (you can use Notepad)
    Restart bridge
When you select a file, if it has these properties they will be shown in the new metadata Panel "in the Exif.

You should be able to add or remove items.

If you want to have the fields editable change category = "internal" class = "external".

    I hope this helps.

  • First the metadata Panel Pro does not find in prelude?

I can't the Premiere Pro project metadata Panel to display in the window of metadata. I'm in the display of metadata settings, check the control panel and it does not appear. Return to settings I find the box unchecked. What Miss me?

    Hi Christophe,

Thanks for digging in the prelude and emphasizing in this regard.

In fact this "premiere Pro project metadata" option should not be present in the display of metadata inside prelude.

It works perfectly in Premiere Pro. You can choose one of the present field under "premiere Pro project metadata" to show as list view columns in the project Panel.

However, we cannot change the list view columns in the prelude project Panel.

There are chances, that it has been copied by mistake to the prelude of options from Premiere Pro.

This option should be removed from prelude. We're looking probably in it.

If you have concerns about any metadata stream, please report it. I'd love to discuss.

Take a look at the following posts about metadata in prelude.

  • Photoshop does not include metadata in exported jpg

When I export my photos as jpg in Photoshop, the jpg images contain not all metadata.

I have RAW files from Sony and Nikon cameras with the metadata (date taken and the camera info). During the processing of the images through Lightroom, metadata are correctly transferred to JPG files. When I opened the pictures in Photoshop, I can correctly display the metadata by file-> file Info... so Photoshop recognizes correctly the metadata. It just does not write it for the exported jpg images.

    How can I fix?

No idea, maybe in an another half dozen feature releases export as will be to provide the same functionality as Save for Web.

CS6 save for Web Options of metadata:

    Export CC metadata options:

  • The name of the file in offline mode does not appear.

For a while after the first pro start, it shows me the message that I currently have out material, but it shows me what material is in offline mode. The name of the file does not appear. Does anyone know why? I always start the project and then find the file that it was.

    I work with CS 6 and OS X 10.11.

Open the display of metadata and properties in offline mode to find easily in the project window.

  • Display the shutter speed?

Can someone tell me where I might be able to view the shutter speed to a clip?

He was buried in the selections of metadata... hit the key tilde/grave with the project Panel has highlighted, right click a column, you do not use data from... and click display of metadata (only option)... and I think it's under the Exif schema or something like that...

  • 'Angle of the camera' and 'Camera Label' missing fields in the metadata Panel

So very glad to see that first Pro CC 2015 supports the transfer of the track when creating source multi-camera sequences. It can use either label camera or the metadata camera Angle.

Unfortunately, the metadata Panel does not offer these specific fields, making it impossible for the allocation of lots given to these fields. Am I missing something? No solution possible workaround for this? ExtendScript maybe?

    Best,

    Jerome
