• Metadata TAGS - what is the purpose?

  Gang,

  My editorial team has been wondering what purpose, if any, these metadata tags are used. Our former project coordinator has been in contact with representatives of ADOBE DPS last year how much they told him that the tags would serve a purpose "soon." It's been more than a year, and we wonder what they do beyond appearing in navigation in the content viewer mode.   No, the Tags field is not used for research or other purposes. If specified, tags appear in navigation mode, but that's all for now and the near future.

  Where do you see tag metadata injectors?  This isn't a documented Flex metadata tag that I've heard of.

• Creating markers in metadata tags

  I was wondering if there are (preferably MXF) metadata that will be represented as markers when tags the file containing these is imported to first - or a sidecar XMP is the only way to go here? The idea behind it is (outwardly) consolidate the individual clips from a disk (flash) in a single file and have markers where to start the previously single clips.

  All the markers, for all types of files, are stored in XMP.

  Note: Body stores the various XMP places for different file formats. However, if you use our calls get / setXMPMetadata (), your panel of should not care where we store the metadata; It'll just work.

  How do you concatenate these multiple clips? Prelude can do for you, as well.

  If your group has N bit files into one big file concatenation, you can 'do the math' to create markers on the aggregate file, corresponding to these markers which would have been for individual files.

  It turns out that it is a problem of VMWare and not a tablet OS. But, in order to completionism, I'll type the solution here.

  Apparently, RTC (real time clock) guest OS is defined using some API low-level CPU frequency that queries the host OS. There are a lot of API in Windows that correct mechanisms for energy savings, but one who uses VMWare does not work.   Well Yes! Unfortunately, the settings of the custom metadata sync with Cloud Creative synchronization settings. You have to dig a little deep for this one. Not sure if you are on a Mac or a PC. Your custom metadata schema/fields is shown here:

  Mac: /Users/youruser/Library/Application Support / Adobe / XMP / Custom File Info panels

  PC: Less warned here on the paths of PC files, but go to your user account folder then open the hidden AppData folder and follow the path above "Adobe" from.

  Copy this folder and move it to the location ON the other computer. That should do it!

• No metadata list recently used in stand-alone 6.2 and 6.2.1.

  Since the upgrade to Lightroom (standalone) 6.2 and 6.2.1 I have most recently used list when I enter metadata in the library.  Entered basic such as city, State, country and so on used to display a list of most recently used when I clicked on the metadata tag.  Now there is no list or there is a frozen list that never changes.  Am I missing something or is this another bug?

  Hey everybody.

  So I have this site where I want to place a label of metadata as well as when you google, it comes with categories such as Contacts etc.

  Problem is that my site does not rest with the pages, but rather in a single page with multiple anchor points, in a system of scrolling. Can I add metadata tags to my anchor instead of pages?

  I will try to explain with an example.

  I assume you are using OracleTextSearch as the University Complutense of MADRID indexing engine to make searchable and indexable metadata you want. For example, the metadata tags are marked as searchable by default.

  When you search for example for tag: 'test', is the following queries generated:

  • WebCenter content: QueryText = ( test )
  • WebCenter content when searching using WebCenter portal search TaskFlow: QueryText = ((xCollectionID > '0' xCollectionID < `0`)=""> (test)) )

  It seems that if the content is in a folder it will be sought. However, when you are searching through AAU it will add several configuration parameters to the function GET_SEARCH_RESULT = 1 ftx (it looks like using full text search). In case of WebCenter portal does not have full-text search of the Complutense University of MADRID.

  I think you should open a SR Oracle regarding this issue.

  I downloaded CS6 and tried to compile an old project files embedded as metadata. None of all this code works more. So I'm left with the task of hand-copying hundreds of files in projects to compile. That doesn't make me want to buy the latest version of Flash when it didn't it trash my old projects.

  I tried to import flex.swc.

  I tried to import core.swc.

  I tried to import mx.swc.

  I tried to import frameworks.swc.

  Nothing works. Flat-Out Flash CS6 refuses to use all the features of Flex and wants me to spend months old projects - I more than 50 to recompile to a customer of rewriting.

  How can I get Flash CS6 to use Flex metadata tags?

  You can use metadata with flash cs6.

  You must import the flex and base properly, CFCS but otherwise it works the same in flex and flash.

  SnagIt 11.1 does not support playback of the metadata.

  Windows Live Photo Gallery is supported metadata {tags including} (sides are has any application graphics microsoft windows 7 will work - my opinion)

• Cannot delete tag keyword within elements

  Using PSE7 under Vista x 64

  Removal of tags to photos in PSE does not remove the metadata tag - still appears in the IPTC 'keyword '. I tried add another but it just is added to the first that should have been deleted. The tag can be removed by going to file/properties/details of the Explorer.

  Is this a known problem or I'm doing something wrong.
