2015 first CC metadata export

I started a project to create on a personal computer. In the project, I created metadata tags custom in the reports of the camera that gave me on the set. Basic text information: scene, Take, Clip, rate. I duplicated the project file to open it on my main computer of edition. I have synced all my setting on the creative cloud however metadata do not seem to be transferred.

Any ideas? Thank you!

Well Yes! Unfortunately, the settings of the custom metadata sync with Cloud Creative synchronization settings. You have to dig a little deep for this one. Not sure if you are on a Mac or a PC. Your custom metadata schema/fields is shown here:

Mac: /Users/youruser/Library/Application Support / Adobe / XMP / Custom File Info panels

PC: Less warned here on the paths of PC files, but go to your user account folder then open the hidden AppData folder and follow the path above "Adobe" from.

Copy this folder and move it to the location ON the other computer. That should do it!

  • Virtual copies come first in the exported files?

Is there a good reason why the virtual copies, coming after the original in the library file, are named in a way that causes them to come before in the game exported JPEGs?  IE - ogfile.jpg and ogfile - 2.jpg.  When sorting by file name, the virtual copy is the first!  This totally counter-intuitive.  The original files should get a suffix-1 or the virtual copy must be named in the order.  Or am I missing something?

Lightroom uses the suffix "-2" to avoid name conflicts. The first pictures are exported with the file name that you set in the export dialog box. Since the two your master and VC were exported with the same file name - there is no way to avoid conflict, but to add a suffix.

If you want your master to have a "-1" suffix, you can control it by choosing a model of export file name, which includes a sequence # variable. For example:

    -

This will give you the expected results:

    • ogfile - 1.jpg
    • ogfile - 2.jpg
  • First CC 2015 - 5.1 audio export is not possible

    Hello community,

we are a trailer, production company de Berlin. We are working with Avid et worked in the past with Final assembly. However, we want to replace completely Final Cut with Adobe Software now. But there is a problem which is disableing this intention. We cannot get a 5.1 out of our timeline.

We usually work with Apple ProRess formats. To create un 5.1 mix we did in first with mono tracks of the DME seems simple:

    • creating a sequence of 5.1
    • ( the value of each mono channel on book of the 6 tracks () L, R, C, LF, Ls, Rs).
    • Pan
    • and

So far, so good. The master to display in the audio mixer panel shows, all right, and each channel works. But the it comes now as first or Media Encoder will not export this sequence into 5.1 5.1 channels, because the 5.1 option is simply not appearing in the audio export window - for example to Qick time ProRess QT 422. I have a picture attached. It's a big problem for us, we cannot work this way. So, maybe someone has some advice, what do we do wrong? I tested it on my old Version of CS 5.5 at home, and here, everything was fine.

    Thanks for your help,

    Hi Richard,

I managed to export the file with six simple mono tracks (checked in Cup final Cinema Tools). But I need 1 track with 6 channels and not a 6-track 1-channel. These files are for customer deliveries...

In any case, I was able now to get a first/Media Encoder file that seems to be OK (I have to check by sound guys). I went to "uncompressed" audio export and when I click again on the channel options 5.1 option appears. But it only works with uncompressed th put... with nothing else. Seems that this applies to any codec in Quicktime format... I can only choose a 5.1 output channels for export, when I put the audio codec just to "uncompressed". Is this normal?

  • Adobe 2015.3 Premiere Pro export settings

    Hi people,

iMac (27 inch, at the end of 2013)

    3.5 GHz Core i7

    32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX M 780, 4096 MB

So, updated to 2015.3 and I see on the window of Premiere Pro export settings have changed considerably. One of the big things for me is I can not put my bitrates as I used a high-end and low-end, one pass, re-encoding, etc., which is kind of a big deal to me. Is there something I'm missing here? My old preset still life in Media Encoder but I can't get it to load first because those moments I export only a single video file.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Jim R.

Well, I don't know what happened, but when I opened just first again (and I did that several times today since updated the software) the old presets were back. When I installed initially 2015.3 he only had like 6 or 7 presets available, now they are all here. Maybe some kind of anomaly or something weird I did initially. Anyway, I'm back in business. Thank you!

  • First does not export a certain layer?

So I use Premiere Pro CC 2015.  I led a coup in CC animate and render out as png layers of different sequences so that I can recomposite them first with different effects.  For some reason when I then try to return to first export still fails.  Through a bunch of experience seems isolating where the problem but I don't know how to solve this problem.  There is a layer that if I delete it so together exports very well, but if I put back it, even when the removal of all its effects, it will not be exported.  I tried possibilities this layer to animate several times where one of the images in the sequence is damaged but still no luck.

Unfortunately this photo really need a layer to look right or at this point, I'd be tempted to give up just one element.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be wrong with this layer that is causing the export to fail?  Because I'm quickly running out of ideas.

First thing to try is at this point... does Animate use made a cache as PrPro? As in PrPro if you still experience a problem in an image, usually dumping the cache and cache media Gets the 'bad' SEO stuff that frame the and things are working properly.

Now... also... If that plays properly in PrPro, maybe try to empty the cache PrPro cache/media for the project.

... Perhaps is there a problem of bad to this frame in the original... maybe you have to re-create this bit or get that frame 199 out otherwise.

  • First crash on export

    First Version 2015.2

    64-bit Windows 8

    AMD R9 290

    I5 - 3570 k

The composition has literally no effect.  It's long, it contains 3 files .mov of my Canon 70 d I have used/edition/exported with first time 45 minutes.  Using the export method H.264 Source Match.

Trying to export, the program "crashes" in the windows style "this program has stopped responding" or something of that nature.

I googled on it and I think I can exclude:

Temp - GPU, I checked my temp while it was export and it's never been about 47 degrees, which would not cause this right?

-In addition, I am able to export older projects that use the exact same video files of the same camera and the same export settings I try.  It's not everything I try to export.

I'm about to go to the House of a friend with a similar setup and see if I'm able to export from there.  Perhaps, who could give me some information about whether if it's a matter of my hardware or not.  Will make it count later.

I don't really know anything to test / find.

If someone could give me some guidance on this I would appreciate it, would hate for this project to go to waste.

  • Premiere Pro CC 2015 crashes when I export the complete sequence

Hi, I have installed Premiere Pro 2015/Media Enconder 2015 (by selecting delete do not CC 2014 in advanced options) yesterday. Everything seemed to go smooth import, bringing a project from 2014 CC, editing and ranking. But now that I export the sequence, no matter what it crashes. Always! Unless I export fragments of minutes 10 or less of the sequence. Which is a pain because that its a sequence of 65 minutes, which then I import these parts, synchronization and attempt to re-export to see if it works. It takes a good 1-2 hours for each fragment.

CC 2014 ran smooth, and I waited all this time to update to the CC 2015 to avoid the bugs and problems!

IM OSX 10.9.6 latest first Pro CC 2015 (updated October 2, 2015). 32 GB of RAM and a RACK of 12 HD mini SAS to.

Yet once, everything worked smoothly in CC2014.

I would greatly appreciate any information, solution, entry on that.

    Thank you very much!

Problem solved! I copied the complete timeline on a new sequence. I also did the digital rebellion of troubleshooting household help and quick fix. Rebooted the system and before, first just crashed and disappeared. Now, he has stopped exporting without crashing and an error message appeared this time highlight the reason: a red giant plugin I was using several plug-ins. I removed the plug-in and everything is fine, in addition to taking 1/4 of the exporting time. The plug ins that I used were the CC version 2015, so there must be a bug. I have this post in case anyone else runs into a problem or similar.

  • Why Photoshop (CC 2015) removes XMP metadata when you save a file?

I am a panoramic photographer. I entirely sewed files having a set of XMP metadata, combined with a program called PTGui special enabling them to be transferred to pano of Google look at a system. I can bring them into Lightroom and export without any problem. However, when I put them in Photoshop for editing, saving the JPG file, metadata XMP necessary for Google are deleted. I'm including two files, a pre-Photoshop with all the XMP data and a post-Photoshop with the XMP data deleted. Exif (Image metadata) Viewer of Jeffrey Friedl is a great tool to see the XMP data.

Here are the pre-Photoshop file: pre - Photoshop.jpg - Google Drive

Here is the post-Photoshop file: post - Photoshop.jpg - Google Drive

Please share any information you might have about Photoshop destructive editing of metadata.

There seems to be a Bug in CC 2015

I saved the pre - Photoshop.jpeg using Save as CS2, CC, 2014 and 2015 CC CC.  PTGui stuff is stripped only in registered CC 2015 file...

CC 2015 seems quirt a few questions. Please report the bug on Adobe feedback site... Family of Photoshop customer community

  • The bands all the metadata export?

I update all my IPTC data as ell as having a GPS tagging all my photos - but when I edit in Photoshop, then export as - PS is stripping ALL my data?

The only two options are NONE, or copyright and neither are to preserve data.

I tried to export legacy - and define the metadata at ALL - but who always removes the GPS information.

I need this stored information. All my notes, locations, GPS info and copyright information is contained in there and shall retain it.

    What I am doing wrong?

Sorry for the delay - I was able to confirm that all the GPS data was present prior to export.

It also seems that Adobe knows there is a problem - but I wasn't able to find out if they plan fix it?

  • Use the FTP first feature without exporting locally?

Is it possible to use the FTP feature without exporting locally?  What I mean is, if you export locally and FTP at the same time,

you have not had the chance to watch the exported output file before you upload it to your FTP site.  It seems wise to me to me

to watch the copy exported to your local computer first, confirm that there of nothing wrong with it AND THEN it FTP to your FTP site.

Doesn't seem to be an obvious way to do one without the other.  Is there something that I am missing?

Thanks a lot for any input.

I'm trying to avoid having to use another FTP/FTP client software... I would do everything with just first if possible.

When you make your export, make the disk only with verified and Match sequence settings tick the button at the bottom of the export side that says Import in Project.

Once the export is complete, it will be displayed as part of the source of your project that you can view and check if everything is OK.

If so, click this item in the project Panel, and once selected, export this clip with the preset to use which includes the FTP function.

  • Upgrade to 2015 first-3

I've updated the first pro 2015 - 3 and now it works really slow. Takes forever to comply when I imported the files and the timeline stops when I do a new edition until the remedial system. I have the same problem on 2 computers that I have not dated so that you can do with the computer. I went back to the old version and it purrs along as usual. No idea why it is so slow?

  • InDesign CC 2015 hangs on the export file .article

I'm under CC15 build 11.2.0.99. I created a document I want to export to an article, but when I go to file > export... and select the DPS item, InDesign will crash every time. I even created a very basic layout with just a couple of forms, and it will still crash. I also deleted the InDesign preferences files. Everyone this problem or have any suggestions?

I am running Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

The team has solved this problem by updating the plugin InDesign CC 2015. You can either wait for the update of plugin becomes available through an InDesign CC 2015 update, or you can manually download and install the tools of DPS here: Digital Publishing Solution help | Install tools for DPS 2015

  • Lightroom 2015.2 hangs after export - export also extremely slow

Since the installation of the 2015.2 LR update (Win10 x 64), each time you export I did completed then crashes. The status of the request is "No result", sometimes with a white, sometimes black screen. But, I have to kill the process. In addition, I notice that it takes a long time to render images, certainly much longer than previous versions. total of 120 images, only 32% done 18 minutes. It seems to take more time with each successive image.
