I have a HP windows 7 computer and whenever I start it, it says that "mfc110u.dll" is missing from my computer. I tried redownloading "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 updated 4"as someone told me, but then he'd LET ME not DOWNLOAD BECAUSE "MFC110U.110.DLL" IS MISSING FROM MY COMPUTER please help me

Hello

Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft Community forum.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

When exactly do you get the error message?

It seems that Mfc110u.dll is an associated DLL file type to Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2012 developed by Cyan Soft Ltd for the Windows operating system. This DLL file may also belong to a third-party application installed on the computer.

I would ask you to start the computer in clean boot in order to check whether a third-party program is causing the problem. After you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved.

To configure your computer to clean boot see the following link:

How to perform a clean boot in Windows
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: refer to the section «How to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting»
to reset the computer to start as usual after a repair.

If the problem persists I suggest you to check the system files are they work very well or not and to check who are trying to run the (SFC) System File Checker tool.

Scan SFC will be scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

  1. Go to Start, click all programs and open the Accessories.
  2. Right-click on command prompt in the list programs, and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.
  3. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

sfc/scannow

For more information, refer to this link:

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

Thank you.

  • Installed LR6 - mfc110u.dll missing

    Hello

Just bought LR6 upgrade and installed on my machine Windows 8 64 b, but it does not start even though I never had any problems with versions 3, 4, 5, and all their upgrades.

First of all, I must say that I was very surprised by the configuration of the disorder. All along the way that it seems that I install the CC version. I checked that I had bought a LR6 and it seems normal that I see that others have the same experience on the web. The installer also completely failed to detect my LR 5.7 install (in the standard folder) and asked my license number LR5 that I had to find on the box in the attic. Lucky I didn't throw.

Anyway... Now install is finished but LR6 does not start because he complains mfc110u.dll is missing: see screenshot

I noticed there is a new "Installation from Adobe" icon on my desktop and thought maybe it was a step 2 install so I started. Have downloaded lots of things, and now the icon has been replaced by a beautiful icon "Adobe Creative Cloud" (wtf?). I started him, only to find out that Lightroom CC (!) has been installed and ' day': see screenshot ... good, but LR still does not start.

I checked the Web and it indicates that the missing file is part of a redistributable Windows Visual C. I realized that those who come often in 32 and 64 bit, and I did not see as usual a dual 32/64-bit distinction in the distribution.

I went back to check the files downloaded and noticed that the "payload" subdirectory contains several (!) versions of the redistributable 2008-2010-2012, each in 32 and 64 b. So I guess that the VC2012-64 is installed.

Went to see in the Panel "Programs and features" only to find out that Adobe has installed redistributable files from all Member States in BOTH 32 and 64-bit (!): see screenshot . Note that the 2013 x 64 it installed version is older than the one I had, and he even managed to install the same 2012 x 64 version a second time.

Now, I admit that I don't know what to do... It seems others have had a problem similar with Dreamweaver, but the 'solution' leaves me in doubt: uninstall MS all THE redistributable files, DW/LR to uninstall, reinstall MS Redistributable (which ones? "I have probably other programs according to some of them), then reinstall LR!

One of you encountered the same problem?  Any help is welcome...

    Kind regards

    Vincent

OK, after a bit of reading, I thought that there may be no harm to reinstall only the redistributable 64 b 2012, so I downloaded the latest version of MS and uninstalled two the I had and reinstalled the package.

All of a sudden, Lightroom now accepts to run :-) Great!

Think more, I realize that the uninstall procedure was in English while I downloaded and installed the one corresponding to my OS (French) language.

So maybe an explanation is that the redistributable files included with LR6 are English only and not suitable for international versions of Windows...

Anyway, it is solved for me, and if all goes well, it can help others...

    Best regards

    Vincent

  • DW does not work - mfc110u.dll missing on PC - what I should try next?

I just tried to install and uninstall DW CC 3 times.  Once again on the real Admin user login account.

I get the message "the program can't start because mfc110u.dll is missing on your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

    I am running Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Any ideas I could try to fix this?

    Hi Jon and others.,.

Thank you and others who tried to help.  The problem has been resolved, until you replied, as I'm so eager to get Dreamweaver to load I kept trying and trying and eventually I managed to get it to load.

    What has not worked:

    • Just install the upgrade Microsoft C++ distributable re 2013 by Microsoft - on a completed installation of Dreamweaver.
    • When you try to run Dreamweaver, although enforcement Dreamweaver initially presented a successful installation this error message kept popping up

    What does not work:

    • Uninstalling all my old redistributable updates in the programs uninstaller remove Microsoft
    • Then uninstall Dreamweaver with all my deleted thus saved settings.  I have had no saved settings btw.
    • Then the installation of updates re-distributable Microsoft C++ for both 32-bit and 64-bit.
    • Then by restarting the computer.
    • Then reinstall Dreamweaver through cloud Setup interface.

After that, Dreamweaver loaded up.  Hooray!

Maybe some of the things in the list above is not necessary, but the combination of all did fix my problem.

Hope this will help other institutions, expected they get the same question.

    Calculation of the happy.

  • DW will not work because the mfc110u.dll is "absent".

The other day I installed the latest version of Dw 20141.

Since then, I get a system with the message error:

"The program cannot start because the mfc110u.dll is missing on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. »

I have d/load the program and reinstalled the program about 13 times without success.

In any event, the message seems a fantasy as the mfc110u.dll resides in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\DECore

I tried a few fixes here as anything does not.

    I am running Windows 7

    Clues for the clueless?

    Thanks in advance.

  • DLL is missing from your computer

    Hello.

I have a project that has been generated from the shared library import wizard.  The C++ project (that I wrote) has (OpenCV dll) dependencies.  When I try to run any of the VI I get an error that says: "opencv_core245d.dll is missing on your computer.  Try to reinstall... "

So, I have this DLL.  Where do I put so that LabVIEW knows that there is?  I tried Windows/System32, nothing helps.

What did you do to get the job of DLL?  -If someone has a similar problem.

In addition, I can't test this right now because I'm on a Mac, but if I remember you must assign the DLL and function before call library function node will be passable.  Then perhaps he chose the name of the first function (or the only?) the DLL in the node called by default after your entry function library, but required to validate a function before proceeding.  Often, you need to change the parameters or return value of anyway, so maybe that also required (display of the tab and check the default empty are correct).

Is it a problem at all?  Or were you just confused by how this happened?

When I try to load my main VI using AgM918x.dll I get the following error

"The program can't start because agvisa32.dll is missing on your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

I tried to reinstall the runtime, but that did not help.

I replaced an AgM918XAResources.dll in system32 by mistake by another of the test station and think that it may have caused the problem.

Any ideas how to get labVIEW to stop telling me he isn't?

This isn't an instrument of NOR, you probably need to reinstall his driver around where you guessed it.

You have a problem with one of the driver dll dependencies.

  • Error message: "CARDS.dll is missing from your computer", when reinstalling Freecell.exe

Original title: Reinstall Freecell.exe and CARDS.dll

I permanently deleted freecell.exe from my computer at home about 3 months ago since I played him too much. [It is not in the Recycle Bin, but permanently deleted.]

It may be slightly addictive, see.

Now I want that he return!

I copied freecell.exe of my employer's computer to my home computer, but whenever I click on the icon, I get the message error "CARDS.dll is missing from your computer."

I looked for where I could get this dll on the net file, for example, Microsoft, but only get directed to sites who want to scan my registry until they give me the download, and I'm just wary of them and their peers.

I guess my basic question is: how to find a good copy of the CARDS.dll file and put it in the right place on my home computer.

I have my original purchase recovery discs, but I hesitate to start with there rooting.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Tom,

1 Windows operating system you are using?

    Step 1:

You can try to run a SFC scan and check if it helps:

    Step 2:

You can add or remove games from windows default Windows features and check if it helps. To do this, follow the steps below:

    a. Click Start, type optionalfeatures.exe and press ENTER.

    b. you will get destop or off the screen on Windows features.

    c. to disable a function to clear the checkbox on games, then restart the computer.
