  If you have previously exported all your CS4 .ste files site definitions, you can use these files to import settings into DW CC.  That said, CC is quite a leap of CS4.  In fact it might work better if you manually create the new CC site definitions.    Site > new Site...

  You must create the Muse page and then export the html code in a local folder on your computer and then download the content exported into the folder root of your existing site of catalyst business. You will not be able to use web forms with this approach.

  If you can host the site in a subdirectory, you can create the page in the Muse and then publish directly to a subdirectory in the root, this way you will be able to use web forms.

  Go to Advanced > remote info and enter your log in details (FTP, URL host, username, password).

  Test the connection to the server.

  Then GET the files from the server.

  Personally, everything about "Ask" is suspicious of the IMO. I've seen too many requests for support on the removal of garbage-related "Ask" and questions about the restoration of the user or by default set the preferences.

  See this Google search for Mindspark, the manufacturer of that application. Mention of the PUP (potentially unwanted programs) and malware, is sufficient for a reasonable person to think twice before installing stuff like that.

  The files are all there in the correct folder, but the site does not open.

  When the support of Go Daddy looked at the files, they said that the problem is the index.html file is missing.

  It all depends on how you have downloaded from the site?

  Have you downloaded your site folder or just the contents of the folder of your site?  If you have downloaded the site folder, then you need 2 files to index - an index.html file will be inside the site folder and the other will be sitting outside pointing in.

  If you have just downloaded the content in your folder Public_html on GoDaddy, then you need an index.html file and that it is.

  Don't know how you got index.html.gz.  What you need is one or two files index.html and that's all.

  Republish your site new to iWeb to a local folder and check the files that have been produced and if the index.html file is there.  It should be, but there should be no zipped or other, just one or two files with index.html.

  They must be there.

  This is the first site you've built?  If so, why choose iWeb?  Not sure that this is an unsupported product that has not been updated for at least 6 years now?

  Remember to move on and using supported software.

  Yes, an existing site can be converted into delicate design, but there is no magic wand that will do it for you. It is mainly to create rules of style with questions from the media. Do a search for media queries tutorials. There are many available.
