Micro sdhc necessary?

Hello

I just read in a magazine at Amazon that the rocket will not work if you don t insert the card memory. Is this true? I searched in the pdf manual but I don't see anything. It's weird but it could be, I don't want no surprises.

Thank you

The only Sansa player, on which it is true is the SlotMusic player. It has NO on-board memory or internal and is based only on the card inserted in the slot.

All other works perfectly with or without map.

  • Optimal allocation size Toshiba class 2 16GB Micro SDHC

    Hi-

Be gentle, please. I'm newly registered here and not sure I found the right forum to post this question.

I have a Micro SDHC 16GB class 2 new Toshiba card, just got today. Before that I used it and if it is still under warranty, I wanted to test it for authenticity with H2TestW program that requires that I format it all first.

Certainly, I want to keep the default fat32 format but what size of allocation of files is the best?

The card will be used especially in my Sandisk Clip more to play MP3 files. A quick glance shows most of these files to 5 500 to 10 000 KBs.

    Suggestions, please?

    Thank you.

    Hey Buddy,

I use different SD and SDHC cards for years and I always use the default settings for the allocation size. I never had no problem with it.

  • HP 1800 does not reflect the memory of 16 gb Micro SDHC

I just add a card Lexar 16 GB Micro SDHC for my new HP 7 1800 but don't see any increase in available memory.

Is that what the SDHC-compatible HP 7 1800?

The instructions that I found do not mention using the Micro SD slot. Not even the way to remove the card.

Anyone using a MicroSDHC card in their HP 7 1800?

    Thank you

    Jerry

Ok. I found that the card works. Apparently the HP 7 1800 had only 5.56 GB g available plus 14.91 GB the card. I thought that the 1800 came with 32 GB GB 5.56 available does not seem like a lot.

Also understand that the map is spring-loaded and pushing on it releases it.

  • Is this true? SanDisk 32 GB, Micro SDHC card class 4

    Hello

SanDisk has recently changed all the speed class in many formats, such as SDHC and microSDHC.

Regarding the microSDHC 32 GB SanDisk class 2 has been improved until class-4, but in any case important to say that the class means it s minimum write speed guaranteed but not max. speed.

We did some tests of comparative analysis with the HC 32 GB class 2 microSD and the results were:

    Read 13 MB/s - writing 4-5 MB/s

    Results obtained with CrystalDiskMark 3.0

This proves that class-2 is on the minimum speed, because in this case the results said that this card is a Class-4 in fact that the write speed was about 4-5 MB/S.

Most of the stores have the 32 GB microSD class 2 in stock, and the class-4 is easier to find in the stores.

I put two photos of SanDisk microSD 32 GB class 2 and class 4

    Note that changed part number:

    SDSDQ - 032 G-E11M: microSD HC 32 GB class 2

    SDSDQM - 032G - B35: microSD HC 32 GB - class 4

    Here are the pictures:

And it's class-4 with the new small blister version:

  • Sansa Fuze + micro SDHC, HELP!

    Hello!

I bought a 8 GB Fuze and I would buy a micro SDHC too.

I don't know which would be better:

(I've heard; a Sandisk card no may be insufficient for the "rocket", so I think I'll buy a Sandisk card).

    I need of 8 or 16 GB.

There are 8 GB class 2, 8 Gb Ultra (probably class 6) and 16 GB class 2. (Ultra 16 Gb is too expensive).

Would be class 2 too slow, speed of at least 2 MB/s? For the music. I don't know, but the 8 GB: less than $20 and the Ultra is about $30.

The 16 GB is almost $50, quite expensive not to mention Ultra.

I think that 8 GB should be enough, but more space is better, just don't know is class 2 good, or rather Ultra?...

Would be better to buy an 8 GB Ultra and expect that the price of the 16 Ultra will be low?

    Thank you!

You need not Ultra card for this purpose. Class 2 is fine.

Ultra cards for photographers and videographers who need to write much about the FAST card.  All you are doing is loading music on the map via the USB port of your computer, and the speed of writing on a class 2 card can easily handle this.

Then buy a card that is slower, larger, depending on what you can afford.  It must not be SanDisk, but avoid brands without name or alleged false (like cards strangely cheap on eBay).

  • Question micro SDHC card?

My wife fills its Fuze 4 GB and I think to have him pick up a 8 GB micro SDHC for her... I just want to know how much the card sticks on the player. Dose anyone have a photo of the player with the card inside? I want to just make sure that she can use the player with the card installed on a full-time basis without fear of damaging the card or do it intercepts on everything.  George

It does not stick. Essentially, it is flush with the player. To remove the card, push in, and then it comes out. Avoid getting a class 2 card, as filling it will be slow. Class 6 is the best, but class 4 is correct. A class 2 card will take twice as long to complete as a class 4 it. A class 2 card has 3 times as long to complete as a class 6 we.

  • BlackBerry smartphones using the Micro SDHC 8 GB in Curve 8330

    Hello

Is someone using a Micro SDHC 8 GB card in their Verizon Blackberry 8330?

I can't seem to get a straight answer on whether or not it will work.

    Thank you

Currently, smartphones BlackBerry running the following versions of BlackBerry® Device Software will support until the displayed size.

BlackBerry Device Software Media card size limit

BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0 up to 2GB

BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 up to 4 GB

BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2 up to 4 GB

BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0 up to 8GB

It should work. However, some people complained that the 8 GB cards were hit or miss. I hope that support will be better with the next version of the operating system.

  • Hello I have a SanDisk micro SDHC 8 GB card and an adapter. I have an Acer laptop with a SD card slot.

Hello I have a SanDisk micro SDHC 8 GB card and an adapter. I have an Acer laptop with a SD card slot.
My problem is when I put the micro SDHC into the adapter and then put the card into the slot on the laptop, nothing does appear in 'My computer', so the electronics card has not been read.

Anyone know how to make a SDHC card appear in Windows 7

Thanks a lot for your help

The problem is not Windows 7, this is the card reader in your Acer laptop.  It must be able to read SDHC cards.  This is different from an SD card. Ancient readers SD do not read SDHC cards - they are incompatible with older players.
