Microsoft Agent restored my Windows Vista Home Premium Remote but am now prompted to activate.
Two weeks ago, I contacted Microsoft take charge of assistance to install the Windows SP2. Over two days, I worked with a Microsoft support officer who finally restored Windows Vista Home Premium Remote because I don't have my Windows backup of disks. Finally, I could finally update my system with all updates and service packs.
Now, I'm getting a command prompt that I need to activate Windows. I tried the product key and the CD key that he gave me. The product key does not work and when I type the CD key I get an error message that says that licensing does not. Code error 0xC004F063. Nobody knows why, I'm having this problem? Help, please. I'm so tired of having all these problems. The time I spent trying to sort out the mistakes of Windows starts to affect my productivity and business.

In windows Vista (Home Premium) Remote Desktop connection does not work correctly
I installed and re-installed my Vista (Home premium) 2 times already because of the remote desktop connection. I have a problem connecting from another laptop running windows 7 to connect to my desktop running Vista. The remote control works on the other hand the meaning of desktop running vista, laptop running windows 7 Professional.
Looking at the Vista under \System\Remote setting\Remote tab which shows the remote assistance box, but the Office box where you can choose what type of connection can be established remotely is missing.I went though all as responses to forum, but nothing helped. Even in a "sfc/scannow" command prompt running did not help. It is said that he finds corrupted files, but it cannot solve all corrupted files. That's why I reinstalled windows hoping to fix this problem but WITHOUT SUCCESS.
Can anyone help? I've attached a screenshot of what I see in vista.
You can connect FROM an original version of Windows to another computer, but you cannot connect to an original version of Windows.
It is not an 'idea' it's hard cold fact that is at least 12 years old.

Hi, I have Windows Home Premium 64-bit. I want to create a restore point, but I get a message saying that the system restore has been disabled by the administrator of the political group contact domain administrator. I am connected with an administrator account. I have read forums that give instructions to access the system restore options: file or tabs just do not appear and there are some comments saying that the option does not exist in my version. So how the hell do I create a system restore point in Vista Home Premium?

Need to restore disc for Windows Vista Home Premium

Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .
There is no Vista free download legal available.
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
They will tell you how to do this.
Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
See you soon.

Repair system and recovery of Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium (Build Date 2009)
Install us a computer with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium for our son system (14 years) in 2009. The system was working fine until 2 weeks when he started to grab him and restarted on its own while he was his school assignments. He tried to solve the problem itself by following the instructions you are invited by the system as insert discs and repair... Having done this, the system now we cannot access Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium?
Please indicate how we can restore the computer system so that he could continue his school assignment? Thank you.

Original title: Vista
I need to re download windows vista home premium because: 1-workstation is not come with a disk and 2 - my system back to factory settings does not work
Hello
Here are the different methods to reinstall Vista; See suits you the method...
There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.
They should do this for a small fee.
To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:
You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:
How to change the Boot order in BIOS:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm
"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246
And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.
The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)
Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.
Ask them to the proper key sequence.
And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.
Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.
If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.
Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.
"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

Upgrade Vista to Windows 7
There is no free upgrade available currently. There was a promotion, but it ended two years ago.
I heard that if you buy Vista you get a copy of Windows 7 free
The Windows 7 upgrade Option is available through participating PC manufacturers on some PC and Microsoft on any purchase of packaged product Windows Vista. The Windows 7 upgrade Option applies to Windows Vista Home Premium, Business and Ultimate editions. Your upgrade to Windows 7 will be the comparable version: so you will get either Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional (upgrade to Windows Vista Business) or Windows 7 Ultimate, respectively. The Windows 7 upgrade Option program works on June 26, 2009 through January 31, 2010. -
Readers USB Flash RAM, CD drive USB, readers of CD - RW USB, USB DVD +-RW drives and DVD-ROM USB readers are all handled by Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium as "devices with removable storage". To check this, look under the "Computer" entry in the menu 'start '. However, if one uses as a USB external hard drive, that one is listed under 'hard drive '. Programs noticed this, and some of them refuse to use it as a removable media drive, even if it is technically removable media, with its electronic and all. It's kind of weird, because you can't remove the RAM on the USB Flash memory drives either. Is there a way to get readers to external USB hard drive listed under "devices with removable storage"?

USB hard drives do not seem material RMB (removable media bit) bit set.
I tried to format my external drive scratch NTFS (it has been formatted in this way, but I have re-formatted to ensure that), and it always happens as "Local Disk". Also, I put the "Optimize for quick removal" option on the parameters of the disk driver hard software. Which doesn't change anything either. It came even as "Local Disk". Finally, I formatted the drive with the FAT32 file system (use some flash drives). The drive still shows as "Local Disk". In the tests described above, I still "withdrew safely" the disk first and then re-connected.
Thanks for the help, I now know it is a bit material in the electronic control unit which controls special registration of the drive in the operating system.

Why Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit installs not Windows updates?
I am not able to download and install Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit windows update. This Gateway laptop has always been able to quickly and easily install the update by clicking windows update. However, since the introduction of Windows 10 it has been a lot of your time trying to install updates. I had this same problem with Windows 7 too. Never before there was no problem for the two operating systems. Installation of Windows updates has always been easy and fast without any problem. Running the troubleshooting isn't good and hunting error codes has been unproductive. What the hell is happening?
Hi Joe Cool1:
'Check for updates...' crashes and slow Windows updates currently affect the SP2 for Vista and Win 7 SP1 users, and I doubt it's a coincidence that Microsoft has ended mainstream support and only provides support for these two operating systems. The evidence points more to a problem with the Windows Update Agent (WUA Vista, C:\Windows\system32\wuaueng.dll v7.6.7600.256 has not been updated since June 2012) and the problem tends to be more prevalent on computers with slower processors and a limited amount of RAM.
There are step-by-step instructions posted on 16 June 2016 wire m #l's updates doesn't work do not, he has been looking for updates to the hours which should speed up Windows Update for both for Win 7 SP1 and SP2 for Vista. The instructions were for users of Vista, so when you reach step 4 just use the appropriate links of Win 7 on the page Web of Dalia http://wu.krelay.de/en/ (Win 7 x 64 if you have 64-bit Win 7 OS;) Win 7 x 86 if you have a 32-bit Win 7 OS) to download packages update stand-alone correct (.msu files) for missing Windows kernel mode driver (Win32K.sys) updates on your Win 7 machine.
You can also find some useful tips in entry 9 August 2016 Microsoft MVP Woody Leonhard on his Woody on Windows InfoWorld blog titled 2 easy steps to speed up scans of Windows 7 update that includes detailed instructions for the use of circumvention of Dalai to http://wu.krelay.de/en/. Woody's workaround for Dalai to speed up Windows Update to users as well Win 7 SP1 and SP2 for Vista.
