  • Error message: "CARDS.dll is missing from your computer", when reinstalling Freecell.exe

Original title: Reinstall Freecell.exe and CARDS.dll

I permanently deleted freecell.exe from my computer at home about 3 months ago since I played him too much. [It is not in the Recycle Bin, but permanently deleted.]

It may be slightly addictive, see.

Now I want that he return!

I copied freecell.exe of my employer's computer to my home computer, but whenever I click on the icon, I get the message error "CARDS.dll is missing from your computer."

I looked for where I could get this dll on the net file, for example, Microsoft, but only get directed to sites who want to scan my registry until they give me the download, and I'm just wary of them and their peers.

I guess my basic question is: how to find a good copy of the CARDS.dll file and put it in the right place on my home computer.

I have my original purchase recovery discs, but I hesitate to start with there rooting.

  • Download... Zlib.dll is missing on your computer?

Hi all, new to this, so you can be patient if I ask an easy question 'inept '...  I use my computer mainly for games. As in... Play Casinos. Im having trouble with a specific download, it used open after downloading, tells me Im zlib.dll missing from my computer and download it again to see if it suits it? Even if it is a new computer, I got this message on my old several times and everything just do not bother to re-download... but now I want to. is there someone who can put on the good site to download the lack "the link" Please?

    See you soon

How to fix Zlib.dll errors Important: do not download zlib.dll from a website "Download DLL. There are several reasons why a DLL file download is a bad idea . If you need a copy of zlib.dll, it is better to get it from its original, legitimate source.

Note: Start Windows in Safe Mode to complete one of the following steps if you are unable to access Windows normally because of the zlib.dll error.

    1. Restore zlib.dll from the trash . The simplest zlib.dll "missing" file to the fact that you deleted by mistake.

If you think you've accidentally deleted zlib.dll but you already emptied the Recycle Bin, you can collect zlib.dll with a program of free file recovery .

Important: Recovering a deleted copy of zlib.dll with a file recovery program is a smart idea if you are convinced that you have deleted the file yourself, and that it was working properly until you did.

    2. Run a scan for virus/malware from your entire system . Some zlib.dll errors may be related to a virus or other infection of malicious software on your computer that has damaged the DLL file. It is even possible that the zlib.dll error you see is related to a hostile program who is posing as the file.

    3. Use the system restore to undo recent system changes . If you suspect the zlib.dll error was caused by a change to an important file or a configuration, restore the system could solve the problem.

    4. Reinstall the program that uses the zlib.dll file . If the DLL zlib.dll error occurs when you use a particular program, reinstall the program should replace the file.

Important: Do your best to do this next step. Reinstall the program that provides the zlib.dll file, if possible, is a likely solution to this DLL error.

    5. To update the drivers for hardware devices that may be related to zlib.dll. If, for example, you receive an error "the file zlib.dll is missing" when you play a video game in 3D, try to update the drivers for your video card .

Note: File zlib.dll may or may not be related to video cards - it was just an example. The key here is very attentive to the context of the error and troubleshoot accordingly.

    6. Roll back a driver to a previously installed version if zlib.dll errors started after the update of a particular hardware driver.

  • Run the sfc/scannow command System File Checker to replace the missing or damaged zlib.dll file copying. This DLL file is provided my Microsoft, the System File Checker tool should restore it.

  • Install the available Windows updates . Many service packs and other patches replace or update some of the hundreds of distributed Microsoft DLL files on your computer. File zlib.dll could be included in either of these updates.

  • Test your memory and then test your hard drive . I left the majority of troubleshooting equipment at the final stage, but memory and hard drive of your computer are easy to test components are more probable that could cause zlib.dll errors because they do not.

Case of hardware failure your trials to replace the memory or replace the hard drive as soon as possible.

  • Repair your Windows installation . If the file zlib.dll individual troubleshooting tips above fails, perform a restart or a repair installation should restore all Windows DLL files to their working versions.

  • Use a free registry cleaner to fix zlib.dll issues in the registry. A free registry cleaner program may be able to help by removing zlib.dll invalid registry entries that might cause the DLL error.

Important: Rarely, I recommend the use of registry cleaners. I've included the option here as an attempt to 'last resort' before the destructive step to come up next.

  • Perform a new installation of Windows . A clean install of Windows will erase the entire hard drive and install a fresh copy of Windows. If none of the above steps corrects the error zlib.dll, that should be your next course of action.

Important: All the information on your hard drive will be erased during a clean installation. Make sure that you have done the best possible attempt to correct the mistake zlib.dll using a troubleshooting step before this one.

  • Troubleshooting a hardware problem if all errors zlib.dll persist. After a clean install of Windows, your DLL problem may be hardware related.

  • Program Microsoft Paint does not appear an option for this he did once

    Microsoft Paint program

Hello someone - I hope someone can help!

and I hope that I can get an answer to this problem I encounter.  I have Windows XP and a program called "Microsoft Paint.  When I click on 'Image' and get the menu, it's incomplete... I used to get a place to click here where I could 'texturize' work I've done.  Now, all I get on the menu are: back/do rotate - sketch/tilt - invert the colors - attributes - clear picture & draw opaque.

Unfortunately, I had problems with my computer because of mspace and the wonderful technician, I had changed the HD of what it was at a very high content in HD so that I would have a lot of space.  He returned to most of the programs, I got to the 'new' computer and that "Microsofgt Paint" program is in there, but some things are not as I mentioned above.  I've been searching the Internet for a solution to my problem, but going nowhere... and unfortunately the technology that took care of my computer unexpectedly died last month!  I'm STUCK!  I want to texturize, one of the mywatercolours, but I can't at the moment.  I downloaded another program called PAINT.NET, but he does not what does the Microsoft Paint.

No idea how to get my problem resolved?

    Thank you in advance.

    Gianni

    Hello to you too.

No, the answer you gave me has not helped... I'm not trying to add text to my watercolor... I wanted it texturize some as I've done in the past by using the MSPaint program... but I found the reason why I have more couold find texture veneer.  When Microsoft has revised their programs, who was in charge apparently don't think that the stroke of a pen 'texture' and other such effects were needed, and they killed this by making a new program named Microsoft paint Management or something like that.  If this answers my question.  It is a pity that the former effect features are no longer available, and that Microsoft killed in the new program.

Oh well... that's the way the mop flops, cookier crumbles and the ball bounces.

    Have a nice vacation.

    Gino
