It is slow to load so I prefer to use Windows to see what's in my camera, but Windows Explorer does not detect the SD card in the camera.   I had the same problem. First of all Uninstall Kodak Easyshare, then go to Control Panel/Performance Maintenance, system, hardware, Device Manager. Go down to USB controllers, find your camera, uninstall it, then disconnect your camera. Connect again. Turn your camera on and it shoud install itself.

  It looks like something very funky happening with your Internet Explorer program.  It looks much like malware to me, but if you ran several scans with different products, then that may not be the case.  You can try several above - but you probably won't find anything (but you might--sometimes a virus is very sneaky and that one or two anti-malware programs are able to deal with them).

  Check that the search service Windows is started and set to automatic.

  a. go to start > Control Panel
  b. Administrative Services > Services and scroll to Windows Search and double click it.
  c. make sure that it is set to automatic

  Step 2:

  I would have you run SFC scan to check whether the problem is related to the missing or corrupted system file.
