  I bought my Milestone in India around August 2010.

  I wanted to know when the 2.2 update will come out to my device - I checked the Motorola Android Software new Upgrade page but could not find a milestone for the India in the list (guess it's APAC then).

  Here are the details of my camera:

  Firmware version: 2.1 update1

  Configuration of the firmware version: GAS_EMEA_USASHLS00RTINT_P016

  Baseband version: 3GSMEPU91A_U_91.07.56I

  Kernel version: 2.6.29 - omap1

  Build number: SHOLS_U2_02.36.0

  How can I know which region my device belongs to, and how these details decide when the 2.2 going to build?

  Also, I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me how to find out the details above.

  Milestone 2 my girlfriend is very strange and guard restart constantly because of random crashes.

  I want to try to do a factory reset, but I can not far enough in the settings to the factory reset option so that the only way is through the recovery.

  I turned the phone off, press X on the keyboard and press power. I get the exclamation fine screen, but from there I'm stumped. On some forum that it has been mentioned that you must press the magnifying glass button to enter the recovery menu, but which does absolutely nothing. The volume up + camera does nothing no more. I can't seem to turn off the phone either when, having reached the exclamation point and have to pull the battery.

  Hi I just got my Milestone 2 today (9 December). Because I had to use my old phone for charging the battery I assembled the phone without the SIM card. I want to insert the SIM card now I can't remove the back. I try to push the lens of the camera and move it for abour one third of a millimeter, but no more. I broke my thumb nail trying to push even more away, without result. I can move it back again. Any suggestions?.

  Maybe your back is very tight, but I can remove it easily mine in holding the phone face down, and using the apartment of my thumbs in the back and pushing the lens on the camera. It moves about 2mm and can then be raised.

  Check in "Menu" + "Data manager" + "execution of the data.

  "Data Roaming" checkbox should be there.

  WARNING: I don't actually have a Milestone 2, but the settings should be similar. I would like to know if it works.
