  • Change password for the application from the apex

    Hi friends,

I created an application of database in the apex, for this application in the login page, that I need to set as

Forget the password link or change the password link, assume that if the end user clicks that link means, there ask for the

    New password: and confirm password

shortly after he entered the password if the user connects to the application of the means, he needs to go inside the application. .........

Normally to reset the password for the end user for the application, we will do it on the side of the administration of apex

It is that we will give RESET PASSWORD OPTION to change the password for the end user...

My question in this sense, that the end user must change his password by itself in the front end application...

It is possible to like that in the application of the apex...

    How friends,

    Kind regards
    Mini...

The problem is that you have specified a different page than the page of connection (due to which your login page used the builtin page). During the passage of the authentication, you must specify that 101 is indeed your login page (disabled by default)

    Here's a screenshot of it.

So, in your workspace, choose current change, choose the authentication name and when you get to this screen tick the checkbox and submit. You should be prompted for your login page (which corresponds to the theme). This should solve the problem.

  • Setting password for registered listener

    Hi all

    I have a query:
I've set up my interlocutor, here are the details of my listener.ora:
    SID_LIST_LISTENER =

    (SID_DESC =

    )
    (SID_DESC =

    )

My databases are on 9i and 10g

I registered both my databases by using the command "edit the system registry.
Now, I've renamed my listener.ora to something else and restart the listener services.

My query is, as it can be seen that lsnrctl > status, command does not show my location of the listener.ora file. Now, I'm trying to add a password to my interlocutor, but when I run the comand save_config, it gives the following error:
    LSNRCTL > save_config
    Connection to (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = tcp)(HOST=) (PORT = 1521))
    [NL-00051: internal error code, arguments: [302], [1] [] [] [], [],]

Also in my listener.log it gives the following error:

Any idea how I'm supposed to make a listener protected password in case where I got my pmon itself register with the listener?
Any help from you guys would be really appreciated. My apologies if the format is not for reading, using forum for the first time.

    Thank you

    Hello
I agree with what you say, but in my scenario, there is no listener.ora in my ORACLE_HOME\network\admin $, then of course, when I'm trying not to put a password that he will not accept coz there is no listener.ora so he can write the encrypted password in... my query was, if in one such scenario is there anyway where we can set a password for the listener... but as you said that if I'm going to have a default listener then why would I need password... I completely agree with you... so is it otherwise otherwise

If you want to password protect your listener, this password is stored in listener.ora. Period.

Apart from the creation of a mannequin listener.ora

There is no such thing as a "dummy" listener.ora You set up you headset with listener.ora or you do not configure and go with default pure.

and then adding the sid_desc and the service of database and then save it with it?... anything but that?

    Thank you
    AJ

You do not need to include a section SID_DESC in your listener.ora. Your instances will still be with the listener. And if you include a section SID_DESC in listener.ora your, your instances will always register themselves with the listener - in addition the static record defined in the section SID_DESC.
