There is no virus/malware known for a non jailbroken Apple devices.

close out of the application mail, double click the home button and loved ones outside of the application, and then perform a reset without loss of data, hold down home/sleep set button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the device to start BACK.

Try mail once again, if this does not work, uninstall and reinstall the e-mail account.

  • When I try to open a file attachment in e-mail or any program, it is looking for data of similar detail and hundreds of open tabs Firefox!

When you try to open an attachment in an e-mail message, the pc tries to find data in Firefox using the accessory 'name' instead, so open several tabs, none of whom is my attachment.
We also have our own systems that are not allowing me to open attachments, even once the search Firefox data rather than the attachments that are already fixed.

When I look at the performance of the computer it tells me the CPU runs at 100% and physical memory to just 50%. Would be to increase the memory of 4GBhelp or is there anything else I should try?

    JohnF

    Hey,.

Generally, for all OS 2 GB memory should be enough and in my opinion, an upgrade to 4 GB is necessary only if you run programs (e. g. games) they need a lot of memory.

Akuma wrote, I think that a toolbar of the software or something else is causing the high CPU usage so delete.
Also, make sure that you use a newer version of Internet Explorer.

  • Outlook Express (XP) - Error Message "there was an error opening this message. An error has occurred. "When you try to open an e-mail.

I can not open e-mails or addressbook from OE.

When you open an email, I get the following messages, 'there was an error opening this message.  An error has occurred. "However, I can save an email on my desk (cause I can't open it) and receive the following error message while trying to open my office on the second dialog box AFTER the above message, Outlook express could not be started.  It can be installed incorrectly.  Make sure your disk is not full and you're not out of memory.  Contact Microsoft support for further assistance (0x8004104F)".  I'm not out of disk space or memory.

When I try to open the address book within the OE, the error message says "unable to open the address book.  The AddressBook is may not be installed correctly.  I check that the WAB file is not read-only (as a matter of fact, I can open the WAB file directly by double-clicking in Explorer and email as an 'Action' very well).  Also, I check register and I have not any sharing with Outlook 2007.  I continue to receive emails and such mentioned, can send through the WAB file.

There was an update of Windows by 18 points before it do not longer work.  I don't have a record of what has been installed.  I tried to come back a week to a previous restore point, but told me that nothing has changed.

Help, please.  This has worked well for years.

Remove Folders.dbx. If you can get OE open, create a new book of identity and address.

In Windows XP, the files of user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

The path to the message will be very similar to this:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Your User of utilisateur\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\ {long string of letters & numbers} \Microsoft\Outlook Express

With OE closed, find the Folders.dbx file and delete it.  Another will be created automatically when you open OE.

    Note these possible side effects:

When you re - start OE, it will build a new index of all *.dbx files it can read and create a new Folders.dbx. However, understand that you will lose the mail directory structure and message rules will probably have to be edited.

  • When I try to open Windows Mail, I get a message saying that it cannot be opened because it is already running.

original title: Windows Mail stop working

I have Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows Mail has stopped working. When I try to open it, I get a message saying that Windows Mail cannot be opened because another instance of it is already running.  (the same manager thought of tasks shows no mail running Windows).

I tried to restart my computer several times. I tried running Windows update that tries to install Internet Explorer but I get an error code 5.  My antivirus software is up-to-date.  Can anyone help? I miss my Windows Mail :(

Try to go to start | Search and type in msconfig and then disable the startup items and reboot and see if you get the same error.  It could be due to interference antivirus.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 you can also try compacting and repairing the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/), but I don't think that is the issue because another program seems to be from WinMail.  It could also be due to Windows Search indexing messages, so if you have it turned on, then go to control panel | Filtering options (I think it's location) and delete WinMail indexing courses.

  • Windows closes to work when I try to open the 2 pieces of mail

    Original title: "email"

Windows closes when I try to open the 2 pieces of mail in the Inbox. I can't delete or move to deleted folder. I get the update message, which was made without result.

What is the name of your e-mail program? If it is Windows Mail:
Make sure that you have installed the SP1 of Vista and SP2 updates. If the problem persists, try to run various repair functions in WMUtil program:

If still does not improve, upgrade to Windows Live Mail:
    http://download.live.com/wlmail
It will automatically import all your WM data.
