  Except for two things. First, the pale blue bar at the top. A remnant from which the URL bar has been so stupidly front. Can't get rid of it in the Customize menu.
  Secondly, I can't get the back + next button on my addonbar more. I have a menu drop down it with the buttons on the inside, but it's a little less convenient. There is no other forward/backward buttons in the Customize menu.

I also tried a system restore (with turned off Norton) who failed twice, so I went back to the last known good configuration using advanced startup... options that make no difference (..) I guess the restoration & configuration options are not going to make a big difference in any way, if these programs do not change or delete your personal files...)

  This MPEG-4 file would contain some type of malware unrecognized by Stopzilla or Norton?  Can I download another anti-spyware program and another scanner?

  Hi Peter, to activate different bars on and outside, including the Menu bar, you can use one of the following methods to view the list of the toolbar, and then select the desired bar (s) there:

  • Right click on a place empty on the tab bar (or the button '+')
  • Press the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar > view > toolbars
  • in customize mode > show/hide toolbars (see: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars)

  To activate the menu bar, toolbar bookmarks or other bars, click it in the list.

  Is - that you are looking for?

  If something isn't quite right, it is possible that an extension has been tweaking the menu/toolbar area...
