Mires of Ratio - edition Capture pattern in Photoshop CC

Hello

I wonder how I can edit a template - created with Adobe Capture - in Photoshop CC. What is the relationship between the modes of Capture?

Here's why:

I created a template with Adobe Capture, but 100% mode, they are extremely "pixelated". So I want to change the CC of Photoshop templates, but I don't know the relationship between the Capture files. In Photoshop, patterns are made of a 1:1 ratio. What about screenshots bosses? I can't find any information on this subject. I'm sorry if I forgot who. Can someone help me?

Thank you very much!

P.

The two types of hexagonal arrangement have a ratio of 1 to the square root of 3 [1,732].

If you right click on a model in the library, you can save in a template preset in Photoshop. You can then check in the Preset Manager to see the size of the pane, create a new doc that size and fill it with the pattern. The doc will have a single mosaic of the pattern, which you can then modify as you wish.

  • Edit the copy in photoshop

I'm a long-time Photoshop user, but a relatively new user of Lightroom. Now, I use Lightroom as my first stop editing, and then continue editing in Photoshop. However, when I select "edit a copy in Photoshop", the image that opens in Photoshop is huge in size and very low in resolution, about 48 inches by 38 inches and a resolution of 240 pixels per inch, regardless of the resolution of the original image, even if it's 6 000 dpi. Is there a setting to the size and resolution identical to the original when sending a copy of Photoshop?

The image opens in the PS with the same pixel dimensions as in LR.

The ppi (which only has an effect when printing) will be whatever number is defined in the preferences > external editing.

Do not worry about the ppi - all that matters are the pixel dimensions - you get the full image in PS.

  • I can no longer edit LR 5 in photoshop CC.

I can no longer edit LR 5 in photoshop CC.  When I right click on the DNG image in my film, choose the Edition command in > Photoshop CC, nothing happens.  If photoshop is closed, it will launch the program, but does not open my image.  I have not changed any settings that I know.

Take a look to see if your problem is the same as in this thread, which seems to be Mavericks/Nik plug-ins/LR5.3 Associates:

  • Bug in the Edit Capture time function?

I have problems with the feature 'Edit Capture time' in LR3. I'm curious to know if others have a similar experience and you have a few suggestions.

I have lots of old jpg files that have been scanned and stored on my computer over the years. The actual creation date is not correct on most of them. As I was their import in LR3, I tried to change the date and I've been to unexpected behavior when trying to resolve several images at the same time. What I noticed is that LR3 will correctly assign the new time of capture on some images. The rest, he attributes a time completely random capture that could be earlier or later than what I selected years. I have to repeat the process several times on the images with the wrong date before ultimately bringing all to have time to capture that I want.

To clarify what I mean by several images, I would say that it could be as little as 2, and other times, it's as much as 100 + images. I use the stamp of time in my naming convention for my file names are unique, so I like it to be as accurate as I can get it for stuff I shot with film. I'm running the 64 bit version of LR3 with the latest updates on a computer that is running the 64 bit version of Windows 7. I have 8 GB of memory in my machine. More than enough free disk space. Does anyone have ideas on this?

Another thing that I will mention, that may just be me not understanding how the feature is supposed to work. I put a time to capture the 25/05/2000 12:00:00 AM for 33 images. After several attempts to get all 33 of them to make the change, I have them sorted by capture time and noticed that after 10 images from the time of 12:00 to 12:00:01. Then it changed to 12:00:02 after another8 images until I finally touched all the images of 33. I thought it was supposed to put them all to the same date and time? Here, because I do not remember the time I took these pictures in 2000, the only reason why it is important is so that the images appear in the correct order when I sort by capture time.

I didn't know what it is about that online, but I thought I could put it out there and see if I get anything back

Let me first explain how the "time capture Edit" is supposed to work in LR (the UI is a bit missleading here), and maybe that will shed light on what you are seing:

    • If you have a picture selected and choose "Adjust at a date and time", the time of Imaging is set to the date / time specified.
    • If you have more than one selected image and choose "Adjust to a date and time", time of creation of the most selected image is set to the date / the specified time and time of creation of all other selected images are adjusted by the same amount of time, because the image chosen was to be adjusted to the date / time specified.

    Example:

    Image Date/time before
    Time after
    Change
    Header 4
    More selected 2010-08-01 15:00 2010-08-03 17:00 + 2 days + 2 hours
    2nd selected 2009-01-15 01:25:13 2009-01-17 03:25:13 + 2 days + 2 hours
    3rd selected 2003-12-31 23:00 2004-01-03 01:00 + 2 days + 2 hours

I guess that what you are writing is based on different (perhaps with 1 second interval) original date/time on your images.

  • How to use "Sélective" and "Color range" in the edition of video using Photoshop CC

    0 down vote favorite

I am very familiar in the use of "Sélective" and "Color range" on the image, but not on video. I have a video with a few yellow flowers moving because of the wind. I want to make this black and white video and change the yellow color of the flowers in red. I can manage to do everything except to change the yellow color in red. It is very simple on the image editing because I used to use "range of colors" to have the mask that contains all the yellow and then apply a hue/saturation layer on this mask. If I want to use the same logic on a video, I should have a layer to "color range" which create a mask dynamically on all video frames but I don't know how to do in Photoshop CC and even if it is possible. Can someone help me? Is there a simple way to do it? Thank you.

  • Edit PDFS using the Photoshop file size problem

    Hello

Don't know if this should go in the forum of Acrobat or Photoshop forum because it uses both.

    Steps to reproduce the problem:

    1. Open a PDF file in Adobe Acrobat format. PDF files, I work with that are mainly analyses, so that they are just an image with a text of OCRB.
    2. Tools-> Edit PDF.
    3. Right-click on a page, change using Adobe Photoshop
    4. In Photoshop, make changes, which is not serious.
    5. Save the temporary file and close Photoshop.
    6. Save the PDF in Acrobat

At this stage the balloons PDF in many, many times its original size. The test that I have went from 300 KB to 6 400 KB. I can then go and optimize the PDF file to bring it down, but we are trying to optimize a workflow. Auditing of the use of the space has the same percentages allocated to each category as before. The number of pixels is not changed, the bit rate has not changed...

I fiddled with the Adobe PDF presets with no luck - in fact, I can't yet figure out how, in this workflow, to use a particular preset, because in order to make the Photoshop automatically propagate changes to the PDF, I can save only, not to save under...

How can I avoid this problem? I'm on a PC using Photoshop CC 2015.1.2 and Acrobat Pro DC 2015. Thanks for your help!

    Matthew

You can use the trial version to make sure before buying 14 items.

  • Photoshop and elements 13 working in iPhoto you want to edit the image using photoshop elements is the next IPhoto > Preferences > advanced > edit Photos: in the menu drop-down set in Photoshop elements also Ctrl click and chose to change in edit

    Photoshop and elements 13

    Work in iPhoto

You want to change the image using photoshop elements

    Did the following

    1. IPhoto > Preferences > advanced > edit Photos: in the menu dropdown selected in Photoshop Elements
    2. Also control click on and chose edit in external editor
    3. List drop-down menu edit in the external program photos > photoshop Elements
    4. Go to the image, I work - is selected the image, the user has clicked on change. When nothing happened, I double click on the image. Elements has not opened yet. Then I opened the item editor, returned to iphoto and tried again the whole process. the photo has not yet opened the 13 elements for editing.
    5. I have 3 elements 13 books as well as watched online - all my references say exactly the same thing--iPhoto > Preferences > advanced > change in the external program > photoshop Elements
    6. I uninstalled and reinstalled both iPhoto as well as elements.

I spoke with the technical support of application.  It seems that nothing wrong with my copy of iPhoto.  However there is no Adobe support.  I waited more than 1.5 hours for chat support several days ago and eventually abandoned.

You are probably choose the manifest file and the correct file like PES Editor. The current editor is hidden inside the Support files folder. The PSE file at the top level of the PES in the Applications folder is simply an alias for the Welcome screen and what you describe is exactly what is happening when you who choose. You want this one:

  • If I edit a photo in Photoshop Elements, I can't re - import into Lightroom. If I open the file on my Mac, the image is present, but Lightroom is not 'see' at all.

For some reason, does not recognize my Lightroom (Mac) 5 images in folders on my Mac I have edited in Photoshop Elements or perfect 8 effects. If I have previously imported images in a specific folder, Lightroom will show these images grayed (as usual), but will not display other images I've saved later in this file. Similarly, if I, say, select three images in Lightroom to use the option of Photomerge in elements, later saved image will not be recognized by Lightroom.

I tried to move locations, record under I don't know how many different formats etc., but the problem persists. No problem importing existing images to SD card or old files on the computer.

    It's very frustrating!

The file with the name "panorama.pds Lakes" cannot be imported into Lightroom, maybe you mean that it must have the .psd extension?

But I really want you give me an example: Specifies the name and the extension of a picture that cannot be imported into Lightroom.

Also, when you say that you drag the image from your desktop and LR opens, but the image does not appear, what appears? You have enabled filters (if so, please disable filters with Ctrl-L once or twice and see if the photo appears.

Uninstalling and reinstalling are a last resort and probably a waste of time at this stage.

  • Accident stroke appears in pattern in Photoshop

    Hello

I created a template in Illustrator by aligning forms triangles next to each other.
    Just fill, none related.

But when I take in Photoshop a transparent line appears between the triangles of the sequence.

    No reason?

    See you soon

    G.

Another option: If the line is constantly appearing on a single color, you can add a layer of color solid of the same color, placed behind the model layer. Since the smoothing areas are actually transparent, colors appear through, hiding the line altogether.

Better yet, double employment with the fill attribute in artificial intelligence (in the appearance Panel), move behind the pattern fill and fill it with a solid color. This color will be 'fill' anti-aliasing of the ground areas and eliminate unwanted lines.

  • How to cut a tile in a repetitive pattern in Photoshop?

For example, normally I take a model that is repeated horizontally, and try to create a slice or tile to repeat in the x-axis.  It is a process slow that manually, and I think that Photoshop must already provide a way to automate this.  Is that correct, and if so, how can I do?

    The model is really clean?

Since then Photoshop on the call to Edit > as reason to locate for you.

  • Edition of Lightroom to Photoshop

I'm relatively new to creative applications could and still feeling my way a bit. I address to open images in my Lightroom library as smart objects in Photoshop for me to change them, usually if I can use the Content Aware Fill feature. This normally requires me to rasterized image.

My problem is when I try to go back to Lightroom. When I save my changes, Photoshop creates one. TIFF file of about 300 MB, more than 10 times the size of the original RAW file and the image in my Lightroom library remains unchanged.

I'm doing something wrong or it's just the way the system works?

Yes. It is the way the system works. TIFF is usually much larger. The raw file has usually 14 bits per pixel, and TIFF can have 48. In addition, TIFF can have several layers, size rises quickly to the top.

I have Photoshop Elements 10 and a camera Olympus MDG E - M10.  I took pictures using different parameters, including 'RAW +' but I am unable to open these images in Photoshop Elements - the message says they are the incorrect file type.  I want to open with RAW - I certainly used before RAW in a single package but not the same device.   I tried to update my Photoshop Elements and downloading various applications of conversion without success.  Can someone tell me how to do this successfully.  Please, I beg you.  Thank you.

You must be able to use Camera Raw 8.5 or newer to support this camera. According to the following list, you must at least 12 elements of Photoshop:

Camera Raw plugin and Adobe application compatibility

You need to upgrade your Photoshop Elements or use the free DNG Converter to create copies DNG that you can use with your current software.
