  There are no settings in the printer software.  You use PrimoPDF or photo editing software (e.g., Picassa) to do.

  You can use the Windows Paint program.

  1. first make a backup copy of your file.
  2. open the new file in Paint. (must be in image format)
  3. on the Home tab, click on 'Select' > Select All
  4. next to "Select" blue box, select the rotation icon.
  5. Select the small arrow next to the rotation icon > select Flip horizontal
  6 save the file under a new name
  7 print the file

  Number of items that I print from internet prints in mirror image, but not all items. I'm a tax pro, and all I get from the IRS or our State DOR print very well. Some items I have searches will be printed correctly. Investment reports I get from my broker print mirror but to print correctly. Something happened about a year ago. I was not able to get any assistance.

  The printer properties indicate that the mirror image is off. I use a HPJ5780 with Microsoft Vista.

  Since you already checked the mirror print option is off, it could be the driver problem. Please try to uninstall and reinstall the driver.

  I suggest you use the "Word Art" option in Word format. Once you enter the required text. Click OK. Look for the icon "Rotation" option which is present far-right of the menu in the menu "Organize" tab "Format".

  Select "Flip Horizontal" option and try to print.

  I have a HP Officejet J5780 all-in-one and had no problems at all since I bought it 15 or 16 months ago.

  However, a strange thing is happening out of the blue - today, everything that I try to print print back - very odd!

  Clues as to what this may be? Maybe a virus?

  I checked all the print settings and they are as they are normally.

  Any help you can lend is appreciated, I should use the printer this weekend!

  This problem may occur if you installed Windows XP SP3 recently. If you go to one of the tabs under printing options, you will have an option named "Mirror Printing" or "Mirror Image". try turning it off. I think it's under the "Advanced" tab

  In the properties of the printer - under the "Advanced" tab, I put the 'Mirror Image '.

  Welll guess what I typed my last answer HP Support sent to do the same thing:

  Except that you must uninstall the software first.  This might be different for other printers.

  I have a HP Officejet Pro L7590 all-in-one printer

  If you do not have your software CD, you can go here to find your software printer & driver

  Solution:

  Step 1:
  =======
  Uninstall the all-in-one software:
  ================================

  To completely uninstall the software, run the uninstaller at level three by following these steps:

  1. turn the all-in-one off and disconnect all cable USB/Ethernet of all-in-One to the computer.

  2. Insert the CD-ROM of all-in-one in the computer. Cancel any windows installation that appear.

  3. click on start in the bar of tasks and then run.

  4. in the command box type following command, and then press ENTER key: X:\Util\CCC\Uninstall_L3.bat

  (X: is the CD-ROM drive letter that the all-in-one CD-ROM is in)

  Step 2:

  Re-install the all-in-one software:
  ===================================

  1. Insert the CD in the computer CD-ROM drive. The installation software starts automatically.
  NOTE: The user account control screen can display. Click on continue.

  2. click on install on her thank you HP! screen.

  3. click Next in the welcome Wizard Installer... screen.

  4. click Next on the screen do not block HP install wizard process.

  5. Select Yes or no on the screen automatically Check For Updates, and then click Next.

  6. Select recommended on the Setup Options screen and then click Next.

  7. follow the on-screen instructions that appear to complete the installation of the software.

  After installation is complete, restart the computer to save the changes.

  If you use Windows, you can use Paint.

  Painting still works and is included in Windows 8.x, is told by the way!

  1. a copy of your file first that you don't end up flipping around your original file.

  2. open the new .jpg file in paint

  3. on the Home tab, click on 'Select' > > select all

  4. next to the 'Select' box blue, find three icons.  The third icon from the top down is the command "rotation / flip.

  5. Select the small arrow next to the icon "rotation / flip ' > > select"Flip horizontal ".

  6 save the file under a new name

  7 print the file

  Pouf!  Easy.

  As much as I know there is no printer currently in-process which has a mirror of the functions copy image option. Usually this function would be in the printer or the program driver settings that you use for print transfers.

  According to Google's Picasa web guide, rotate the image (create a mirror image) to open an image in edit mode.  To flip the image, horizontally press Ctrl + Shift + H.  Rotate the image vertically pres Ctrl + Shift + V.  That's all you need to do to put an image in the mirror.  I hope this helps.

  The printer driver does not provide the functionality of the printer mirror.

  To work around the problem, you can set another pilot that provide this functionality:

  First, go into control panel > printers and devices

  Right-click the printer icon, then select printer properties.

  Enter in the Ports tab, make a note of the port used by the conscientious printer and terminte window...

  1. Click Add a printer . The Add Printer window.

  HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 first concerns.  I tried to figure out where the printer setting is for printing in mirror.  It is usually in the Advanced Settings tab.  I called HP and was told by 2 different tech, then supervisor that HP does not include this option in this printer.  I tried to explain how I felt it was hard to believe and I was told that it is most likely was an option that was no longer necessary.  I have his name and the file number.  I asked this bump up the level immediately above, because I felt strongly HP has not intentionaly left this option.  I digress.

  Got it to work.

  990 has not worked, 5600 had mirror but does not print correctly.

  I went to the HP site and downloaded different drivers until I could get to work.
