• My captions are missing when importing files

  I run Photoshop elements on Windows 10 12, and it seems to work fine. (Some small errors, but nothing serious). The problem is: I wanted to rearrange my database in the organizer and the structure of the catalog in Windows. I edited all the image files in Windows Explorer, moved the files and deleted the old labels and ensured that all the legends have been saved in files. It took hours. I deleted my catalog, started the Organizer, made a new catalog and imported the photo files.

  Some of the legends have survived. Most of them belongs to the most recent pictures taken with Dynax 7 camera d. (some legends have had Norwegian letters which have not survived, but this isn't a big problem.) The big problem is that most of my stories have disappeared! About 200 photos are taken with an Olympus camera, and found out there are problems with the legends and Olympus. Most of them have disappeared. I also have hundreds of photos of former days, produced with a scanner, and most legends have disappeared.

  I made sure the captions are always saved in the files. I see them from Windows Explorer, but not the Organizer.

  I have to sit for hours and re - write all the legends, or is there a solution for this? I don't think it's a problem according to Windows 10. I did the same thing a few years ago and had to replace captions manually.

  What is confusing, as some of the legends are there! Photos taken at the same time and with the same device as missing. This suggests that the Organizer is able to read the captions. I tried to refresh thumbnails, but it did not help.

  Most of the files are .jpg.

  To batch delete the IPTC information (tags, captions) in the files themselves, use the Organizer.

  Step by step:

  -Select a batch of files (highlighted)

  -Make sure that the information on the right panel is open

  n ' forget not the details of the 'Metadata' section appears (if you have a small triangle pointing to the right icon, click on it to reveal the details, it will point down)

  -just to the right of the title "Metadata", you have two icons, click the more right to get all the details.

  -At the bottom of the section, you have a line with "IPTC".... "Click the icon of three points.

  You now have the IPTC dialog box displayed with details of what is written in the section of metadata to your files (this is NOT what is in your catalogue).

  -You have a button to remove all of the information, or you can be more selective.

  Yes, it is very well hidden!

  Yes, you can see the caption under the pictures in mode in the library grid.

  Go to the view menu > options > check "Show grid Extras" > make sure legend is selected under low label under Compact cell Extras.

  You can double-click any image in the library module to view it in full screen and double click again to return to the display of the grid.

• Just the songs/video missing?

  I have an iPhone 7 more than 128 GB. Unfortunately when I click on 'Video' app on my iPhone, all my music videos, that I bought from iTunes disappeared and moved to the application 'Music'. Now, it's really confusing. Apple seems to break the apps more than fixing. Why? before iOS 10 never comes, iOS 9 worked very well and all my music videos are in the 'Video' app, all my songs are in the "Music" app, not more, there now appear to be broken, involved putting each of them in the application 'music '. Even when I play the video clip in the application of the 'Video' on iOS 9 which usually have closed captions on it, now on iOS 10 in the application 'music' don't have it anymore. ITunes on my PC play subtitles on the music video, I need this back on my iPhone! I have total of 401 songs [for the most part, are ripped from my CDs and some songs are purchased from iTunes included music videos purchased on iTunes] and only 333 is transferred to my iPhone and 68 are missing. I get most videos music and songs that I bought in gray [68 of them are]. I even went to "Purchased" and redownload everything and it remains grayed out... Help? and apple please give these clips in the app "Video!" PLEASE?

  The following steps should help with the erratic behavior of synchronization, including the formidable gray traces with dotted circles. They assume that all the content you want on the device in your lending library for the restoration. If not see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device first. I would also recommend you copy everything off of the camera, if you have not already.

  1. Backup device.
  2. Restoration as a new device.
  3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

  Use a backup encrypted if you want to keep passwords, wi - fi settings, history and health web data as appropriate.

  Press the Alt key to display the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar, so it has a check mark.

• Legends of Windows 7 Media Center missing slideshow feature

  I recently bought a new laptop HP with Windows 7 and Media Center version. I used the Media Center program in my old computer (XP), in particular, the slide show feature. The photos came nicely with legends (which really are the file names of each photo). When I transferred photos on the new computer and headed the program of slide captions were missing. I really need the legends to make my presentation. Is that what I can do to restore the captions in the slide show?

  It could be a long shot, but with windows to release living products, it might be in conflict with wmc?

  If you open windows live photo gallery, located in the place of all the programs under a live windows folder to the bottom of the list, there selections as well as what you can publish,

  I know it's a different program but with all the new features added and Add ons he added, that if you check those setting it could enlighten us.

  But you can always just check information such as captions and make sure they are in the right category because we spent x - p for windows 7, the data could not be transferred correctly.

  Anyway open your my pictures location and look at some of the pictures where you have problems with and see if the captions are really there and in the correct fields, simply point or left clicking on each photo opens the photo information on the row at the bottom of your screen in your photo library.

  I don't know if you are interested in windows live photo gallery opening or not, just to check certain parameters that may or may not be playing with wmc?

  I'll add that I've never really got into wmc for many in the past, but I used it because it of the only real way to adjust the timing of slide shows, all the time in wlpg is preset and the default values are not adjustable, that I hate and wmc is adjustable, and I can set it and forget it.

• Premiere Pro captioning - all default?

  I have 5 x 25 episodes subtitled - I've already created files .srt from another application and just upgraded to Premiere Pro CS5.5 CC specifically for captioning.  I can import the files .srt without problem, but the default is white text on a transparent background.  Is it possible to change the settings so that the captions by default to something else.  I started to modify them manually, but there is too much to change each background to opaque, then a color and finally change the color of the text.

  It seems to be that which shows that it is possible to change the font, size, etc. of the legends.  I couldn't find these options in my tab captions – am I missing something?

• Closed caption questions

  Thus, in desperately trying to have 'good' in the people of distribution (ExtremeReach) legends, I met so many questions it drove me crazy and ends cost my client with lost jobs.

  I had to make the legends time 608 and 708, which seemed fairly easy. And it was as well a sx 15 and a sx 30 commercial.  Seems they want a white legend on top. What I did.

  But sometimes it is not.

  Or he got the black lines or boxes.

  Triggers too early.

  Or stays on the end in the next point.

  So contradictory that I ended up having to outsource the legend. These should be so simple and yet it wasn't and it cost me money to fix, a reputation with the customer and probably more.

  Someone at - it problems of this kind? And if yes please indicate how you solved it.

  Sorry to hear you had problems. Here are a few things to check with the legends:

  1. make sure of course the framerate of your legends match the framerate of your sequence exactly - this should address calendar issues, lack of legends

  2. 708 was more special than 608 characters - so some of the characters that you use in 708 may not appear in the text 608 - it's a difference in standard between 608 and 708

  3. make sure your captions to do no more than 32 characters, including spaces - more, you get captions to drop characters or missing altogether

  Hi, I have a question about the feature of revision quiz in Captivate 5.  When I review quiz, questions and the buttons do not appear.  I checked the transition between slides to "fade in" only.  Questions remain missing after the review.  Figure out and can't find any post related to this issue.

  Ok.  By the look of your screenshots you have deleted some elements of the quiz question slides.

  Were you remove all standard legends such as the legend of title or caption Quiz, or items such as the control box?

• text captions are not not on registration of Captivate

  I am using captivate 8

  I select software simulation new Record

  In the settings, I select the demo mode and check Add text captions.

  But when I save and read/pulbish there are no subheadings created for when I click the buttons/menus (I do a recording of some actions that I do on the chrome browser) on the screen or in the timeline panel. Have I missed something obvious that I need to check?

  I was going to suggest the liberal use of the PrintScreen key so...

  And I always when you save web applications.

  Captivate picks up clicks of buttons and adds simple captions, using "system hooks. For example, when point 'File' Notepad is clicked, it generates a Windows event that Captivate can 'hear '.

  Web/browser applications do that (usually), Captivate can 'hear' the clicks... so you have to hit 'PrintScreen' any when click you an element in the web application and manually capture with PrintScreen key.

  First, let me describe my project and intentions:

  I'm creating a movie of 2 hours of play for children by script using Premiere Pro 8.0. All my editing is complete and I even started to set up my menu in still (Cs6). It is imperative that I include closed captioning or subtitles (which can be enabled or disabled) that the audio quality is not the best.

  Here is what I tried:

  (1) I first learned that I could only create subtitles or cc in again. I started to do this but it is very difficult to align words with audio because one) I could go only by what I heard and not on a frame-by-frame line up with the audio waves I used to work with Premiere Pro. and (b) somehow, I am not able to see my subtitles in a panel of "program." I don't have the option to display a window of "program" and I don't have a drop down menu that says anything other than 'Undock Frame', 'Undock Panel'... etc.

  (2) then, I came across an option to create subtitles encoded in Premiere Pro as a type of movie file. File > new > closed captioning

  It was so much easier! And I found the drop-down menu where I could turn on the captions as I worked.

  I'm using format: CEA-608 CC1

  I tried all this in a short excerpt from my film so I could play with exporting and see how it worked in yet. Still going to import audio and video files very well, but after trying to import the file *. CSC this error window appears:

  "The software that is used to decode the media is not available on this system. Install the correct decoders for files you are using can help fix the problem. »

  I tried to export the captioning this way since first Pro file > export > media legends, create a Sidecar file. I tried each of the following formats: *. CSC, .mcc. .XML, .stl but at the end of the rendering that addresses *. CSC and .xmp came through. I'm guessing that the other 3 options emerged as ".xmp" because they could not be encoded in these formats.

  Another question: I found an option to export cc on file > New > export > legends, however, this option is grayed out and I couldn't try it.

  Return to again. When I tried to import subtitles via timeline > import > captions, none of these options (text Script, Script of FAB Images, Image Script) contacted my files of cc. No doubt beccaue they are cc instead of subtitles?

  Could someone please help me understand what am I missing, what my computer is missing? I really hope that there is a simple answer and no-$! There must be a way to use what I've created first.

• Text captions do not transition on the slide, despite the settings of the timeline.

  I have a slide that needs two sets of bullets to appear, one after the other.  I staggered them on the timeline, so that one appears and then the other.  No matter what I do, only the first text caption appears.

  The first value arise only during 10 seconds.  The second is to appear within 12 seconds.

  The slide is "Continuous" on enter.  I even gave the Transitions text elements to see if it would help.

  No matter what I do, that a second never appears... and one never goes away.

  They are all at the top of the timeline - nothing's hiding nothing.

  What is this video? How did you test? Preview or after publication.

  You have two buttons on this slide that break at 1.5seconds. The user must click one of these buttons to release the read head. Until it is by clicking on the read head will stay there, and only 3 of the top text captions will be visible. When clicked, the playhead will continue.

• change a caption of text field based on two fields

  It's a bit complicated (for me anyway). So, bear with me on this while I try to explain it properly.

  Problem: I have two fields tfLastName and tfFirstName - in that order. I have another tfSignatureLine field. I need the legend on tfSignatureLine to change according to the value of the name and last name fields.

  Address: The two fields have a script output. This is the output for tfLastName script.

  Of course, the output for tfFirstName script has the appropriate fi verification statement he and tfLastName.

Is there something that I missed because I looked in this? Maybe something like "this.caption.value" or "this.caption.rawValue". Those who do not seem to work, so I think that it is not those specifically. Before I had the stated case, tfSignatureLine would have got "null Smith" as its value.

  I think that there is something to the top with your resolveNode syntax. Not sure that it works properly with things like this.parent.parent, etc. But can someone feel free to correct me on this point.

  I couldn't take a good look at your file, because it seems that you used fragments and you will need to incorporate into the document for others to see.

  The following works:

  If (! this.isNull &! tfLastName.isNull) {}

  var name = this.rawValue + "" + tfLastName.rawValue;

  tfSignature1.resolveNode("caption.value.#text").value = name;

  }

  But I never use resolveNode() like that, so am not sure of the syntax. I always use xfa.resolveNode () as:

  xfa.resolveNode("Path.To.FieldName.caption.value.#text").value

  You probably don't need references to 'parent' in your form. The best way to get the path to a field is to use the CTRL key, click on an object while you're in the Script Editor.
