  Pls state your operating system, is the Version and JIntiator Version of the control panel

  If you use Forms 10 g pls may be u forgot to put the form according to the menu of the form

  Pls select > Menu Edition > Preferences > RunTime tab > the browser, you must use the value.

  Hope that you are well. I installed Oracle Developer Suite 10 g on Windows 7 successfully and that it works correctly. But when I connect to Oracle Form Builder using Connect window asking:
  
  a. user name of
  b. password
  c. database
  
  a message box appears: "ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified '.
  
  I check my String to connect with: ' SELECT * FROM database of v$ ', but the problem remains the same.
  
  Please help me how can I connect to Oracle Form Builder.

  Please use Net Configuration Wizard or set tnsnames.ora with string and computer name to connect.

  NET Configuration Assistant.
  When its open then go to.
  * The local Net Service name configuration.
  * Click Next.
  * Add.
  * Click Next.
  * Name service - Type here connect the String which is XE or any connection string.
  * TCP.
  * Click Next.
  Host name - enter computer name or Ip address.
  * Yes, perform a test.
  you enter the right password and username here.

  Note:-your database should be Up if it's not high, it will be by the same error please start your database first.

  Please, I am facing a problem which is that Oracle developer Suite and the Oracle database installed on the same system of Vista. I managed to install both, but I would like to know if they are too be in the same ORACLE_HOME because I have this output error when configuring the listener:
  The procedure entry point snlinAddrLocahost coul not be located in the dynamic link library oral10.dll
  
  While starting the developer of forms, I got this error:
  FRM:18107: cannot create a context OF for the module.
  I would like to know if you suggest to install it in the HOUSE even and if possible, help me to get the configuration of the appropriate folders.

  To run the form in Internet Explorer, in the forms, go to Edit--> preferably. Who go to the tab Runtime . Here select the path to iexplore.exe in the location of the Web browser. the form will be run in Internet Explorer.

  c. build Internet reports using Report Builder
  
  I developed a simple application by reading 'Development of commercial applications using Oracle Developer' by Ivan Bayross.
  
  Now I have upgraded to Oracle Developer Suite 10 g. Please guide where should I go from there now. I have my career in application development. Please refer me any book / tutorial that gave a very good start of the level to start at a level high development of applications i.e. Tables, views, sequences, forms, reports, synonyms, etc. where I could take an advanced application developer.   Hope that you are well. I am facing problems of swap space when installing Oracle Developer Suite 10 g on Windows 7. I downloaded and installed Oracle Database 11 g Express Edition successfully and that it works correctly. Now, I downloaded the two files

  ds_windows_x86_101202_disk2 b.
  
  to install Oracle Developer Suite 10 g with Windows 7 Ultimate. The Oracle Universal Installer spent the following questions:

  But when checking swap space, it gives a message, '0 MB of available space, 1535 MB' required, failed. I have 2 GB of RAM installed and system managed paging that is currently assigned to 2038 MB in my system file space.

  Hi everyone, please, help me.
  
  I'm working on Oracle 10 g (10.1.2.0.2). I need to insert graphs (pie, bar etc).
  I browsed the forum and I fell on the thread below:

  BUT the problem is that the installation in the zipped folder guide says very prerequisites for installation of the demo is to have 11g. and it will not work for 10g.
  If this is the case then how I insert charts. I need to complete this work as soon as possible.
  
  In my research, I also found the thread below where people say that this will work also for 10g.

  I have developed (Forms 10G & 10G reports & sqldeveloper) until today in Linux RedHat 4 ES.
  
  Now I'm in Window7, I installed VirtualBox to install Linux & forms and reports and also data base all 10G.
  
  Question what Linux in that I need to install it can work with these tools? I have an Oracle Linux 6 choice but I don't know if this is a good choice.

  Just take a picture with your original machine CloneZilla, and then create a virtual machine with Virtualbox barenaked, start with the iso CloneZilla in place and restore the previous image taken on this Virtual Machine. There, the physical machine migrated to a virtual machine in no time ;-)

  Developer 6i is no longer available for download (at least not that I can find: it is not available in the usual places [e-Delivery, OTN, My Oracle Support]). The only way I can think of that you can get the version you need for Red Hat is to contact the Oracle Support and submit a special request to the software or if you know someone who has a copy of the software - ask them to make you a copy.
