• Links Panel showing missing/old links to files that no longer exist in my Doc

  I have an InDesign doc that shows several instances of 2 missing files / obsolete

  The problem is that these links do not exist in the file more! (As can be evidenced by the fact that no page number is assigned to the link)

  Anyone know how to get rid of these in the links dialog box?

• How to use the VO attribute in the URI of the destination link added in customization

  The notification of approval of application, I need to add a link to a custom page. This custom page requires the id of the request as a parameter header.
  For the page, we have a function. The function is called in the link.
  
  If I add this link on the row requisiton area, it works because I can just refer to the VO attribute and the value is transferred.
  But this means that the link is placed on each line.
  The user wants to see this link only once.
  
  So I tried to add a link on another level.
  The problem seems to be that I can't reference requisiton header value in the URI of destination when the link is created out of the box 'lines '.
  The value IS available and displays in any element of Message Style text create in customization.
  But in a link element, I don't know how to get the value of the URI of the destination.
  
  Can someone help me please?
  What is the correct syntax to do this?

  Maybe you need to explicitly specify the Name property of the VO on your item link, depending on which area it is in.

  I created the PDF file of 3B2 software with a lot of links and bookmarks, links with documents created with the bookmark named destination names.

  When I click the link to navigate the document with, it will be the location of the bookmark goto and zoom level will be changed to "ADJUST to WIDTH" but I want to go through the document with the current zoom level from the link where I clicked.

  For this process, I tried a method which is javascript in link action.

  By this method, I get what I'm looking for, but I'm having a problem.

  And also I am not able to change all the links in my PDF document by manually.

  So please advice me which is just way to browse the document with the link current zoom level where I clicked.

  The output PDF document will contain 100 number of links, so I want to update all the links with my requirement by automation.

• reissue of missing image links

  Hello Indesigners.

  Is the question I would ask how recreate you a link to an image that is missing, when you have moved to another location, you do not remember, and its in a folder of hundreds other images, that you had on your hard drive c and then start your file in another hard drive? InDesign can find the way to get the image where its located?

  In this case, my first image was on my desk, I made one and put my picture in their (I know its there) so what command should I use for indesign spot it?

  What does it mean, exactly? Are you sure you're looking good player? Perhaps extend the search to the entire computer. Include system and hidden files and maybe use a wild card instead of typing the full name in the search field.

• Missing. Link PNG to PDF

  I need to change the text in pdf file, but get the error missing .png in artificial intelligence and need help. I'm learning so please bear with me.

  I need to change the text in a PDF file that also contain images. When I open the pdf in Acrobat, it shows everything correctly but when I open the PDF in Adobe Illustrator CS5, he complaints on the missing < Filename >. PNG and asks me to specify the folder where .png is located, and I don't have it because I had only PDF. When I click on ignore the complaint, then it shows the pdf without the picture and some text boxes that I need to change (which I assume were part of the link as well). Forgive me, but for me, this looks like the disability of the tool, a tool shows the other does not or may be THAT PDF must not be opened in artificial intelligence for changes.

  No, it isn't. You don't understand how it works (no offense). The PDF file was saved with editing capabilities HAVE and when it is present, HAVE supports this part of the PDF file on the native PDF data. This is why you are having problems. To the one who sent you the file just sent a flattened PDF, HAVE it would open for the price which could cause a mess on the other ends. You simply cannot have both. The fault is with the workflow and how the fields were created in the first place. Similarly, copy & paste the contents of Acrobat to other programs such as are you doing working perfectly correct.   I placed a facebook logo and linked to the correct page. The link is still on and working but the logo is disappearing from the live site, still in fashion design and preview sound here. I have tried different browsers and made sure, that he is willing to forward. Seems strange the link would still work but with no picture. Any help is appreciated.

• Missing Administration link

  After the upgrade to 11g none of my accounts seems to have the link to the Administration at the top of the dashboard page.
  How can I access the Administration without it? Is there another way to go to the "Manage privileges" page where I can spend on "access to the Administration?

  Hi Knut.

  Could you try to throw the user administrator folder form the catalog (via the Catalog Manager)? Then try to connect again. A new user folder must be created. Maybe it helps. It seems that some user settings get corrupted during the migration.

  If you are using reports, making first a backup of the folder, and then copy the reports come back later.

• Missing column link layer

  I am trying to improve my skills of PS and work through a book PS CS. I'm working on a session layer. The books shows a column called link layer mode. I is just to the right of the visibility column. I don't know I've seen this, but it is absent today.

  I did a restart cold, which didn't help. I probably did something to cause this but I can't find what I did.

  Any advice greatly appreciated!

  Now, it is just to the right of the layer name. You can select the layers as in an Explorer of files, shift-click to select contiguous layers, LCR-click here for non-. Right click on any layer in blue highlight will get the menu below. Or layer > link layer.

  You used behavior of image for DW swap on these mouseovers, links would be updated.  Your manual approach is causing DW miss those links when it updates the pages.

• Missing fonts in InDesign packed file

  Hi, I am looking to get an indesign file off the coast of a trainee Designer in another office. He conditioned, but there are still mssing fonts, and most of the text is highlighted in pink. I will paste the following text file, so you can see that some fonts are missing. I activated all the files in the fonts folder, but it is looking for Helvetica Neue T1 in 4 different weights (slim 35, 45 Light, Roman 55, 75 "BOLD"), none of them are in the folder fonts. My apologies if I'm being dumb and missed something obvious.

  I'm on a mac using CS5 on a single computer and CS6 on another, he works with or. I think they are on a mac, as far as I know.

  Tell the other designer to replace the HelveticaNeue.dfont and instances of Times.dfont by the HelveticaNeue.otf and the same with the time and then repackage. You can't have its own version of this font.
