  I get a sync error failed boring on creative cloud (v. 2.1.1.110). It fails to synchronize 5 files that weren't supposed to be synchronized in the first place, because they are all old files that no longer exist.   We pushed an update Sunday (V 2.1.1.110), which should solve the problem.  If this isn't the case, please try to delete the db files, follow these steps:

  (1) quit Creative Cloud Desktop App and then the process CoreSync and Office Service from Adobe using the activity monitor (Mac) or the (Win) Task Manager

  2) go to:

  MAC: /Users/ /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync on Mac OS X

  Note: Users of library user folder is hidden at startup with 10.7 or later version, see http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html

  WIN: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\CoreSync Windows

  (3) then delete all files ending in .db, .db - shm or db.wal, and re start creative cloud (it should be 3 or 4 files, but could be more if you have many accounts signing in CreativeCloud)

  Definitely. Go to the configuration/system control panel applet, under computer name, domain, and workgroup settings, click on change settings. Click on continue in the UAC prompt. Click on edit on the computer name tab and follow the instructions. You will need to restart to complete the task.

  If you're actually talking about a on an account profile, know that you can change the "friendly" name but not the name of the folder in C:\Users real user. To do this, you need to create a new user account with the data name and copy favourite after cutting into it (you must log in to create the new folder structure).

  Assuming that you have already emptied from the Recycle Bin, go in the trash finder window. Click on the pinion in the menu with a gray background to the top of the window. Move your mouse over restructure by, and then click date added. Then, after that, in this same area to the left of the pinion their should be four options to display side by side. Click on the left with the four squares. This should show you what you deleted every day (for example yesterday, today, last 7 days etc.) Look under the tab today and you should find what you deleted today.

  Go to shipping and the view box. Current view | Show all messages and make sure that there is no message there.  Delete all if there is.  Then go to tools | Accounts and are looking for the old account and highlight and select Remove.  Then see if that solves it.  If not, try to go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  This will give you a new message store and you can add to your new account there and when it works, use file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

  Looks like you are using an Imap account.
  If you just try to save emails residing in mbox files (mbox files don't have any extension)

  Make sure Thunderbird is closed before doing anything in the profile folder.
  If you are familiar with the profile folder, you can copy paste the mbox files (without extension) in the account of 'Local folders' which is located in the folder "mail".
  and then restart Thunderbird. the indexing file (.msf) will automatically be created.

  Try to import them using a tool in "local folders".

  I have a problem with what appears to be broken aliases, but the type of file is an HTML document. I've been manually change a legacy site, using an app called "SightSucker" to download the site locally if I can do a search depth of terms and expressions which are no longer acceptable by my industry.

  After the work was done, I deleted the site locally, he seems to have left about 1500 small files (many repetitions of the same name).

  These files appear only in my finder under "My files", but nowhere else.

  When I 'Get info' is not the file "where:" information, it is just missing. Also, under sharing and permissions, it said "you have unknown access."

  I tried the things:

  1. Restarted my Mac (I know this is a standard windows fix, but I thought I'd give it a try).
  2. Remove cmd - does nothing
  3. Trail of trash-trash is transformed into icon to disassemble but eventually does nothing, it is not also actually slide.
  4. Copy/paste point creates error "update on the Clipboard cannot be pasted at this location. One or more of the items may have been deleted or are no longer available.

     2. Difficulty Alias--gives the finder dialog box "select new original. I created a dummy file to link to, but got the error "could not complete the operation. An unexpected error occurred (error code - 43)".
  6. Permissions are unknown I have tried repairing permissions. I had to do it manually with "sudo/usr/libexec/repair_packages - repair - standard-pkgs - volume / ' in the Terminal application, you cannot do this with disk utility in OS X El Capitan. Whatever it is, it was not to fix anything.
  7. EasyFind (the one with the squirrel icon) to find files. EasyFind could not find them.
  8. Use the command find Terminal, which also could not find them.

  This leads me to think that maybe these files do not exist in reality and the real problem is "Finder".
