Missing entry in Windows components

Components Windows is supposed to show that partial sequence:

Digital Locker service
Instant Search
Internet Explorer
Location and sensor

It shows that under IE 10 in Windows 7.

Unfortunately, use of IE 10 causes problems with the update.  Specifically, I get

complaints about the use of a browser that is not supported.  Nothing happens until I upgrade to

THAT IS TO SAY 11.

Whenever I do this, however, the listed above "Internet Explorer" entry disappears.

I need to access this element to change some settings.

If I go back to IE 10, old problems return.  Is it possible to break our of

This circle without end?

BTW: I tried to access the policy templates box.  I found that the recommended

"system.adm" point is not in the list.  Nothing is.

Hi Alfred,.

Please confirm if you were able to access Internet Explorer 11.

If so, you can refer to this article on How to change or reset the Internet Explorer settings.

Let us know how it goes.

Miss me some of the windows components in the computer configuration > Group Policy administrative templates. How can I get back them? XP Pro SP3

If you click on administrative templates, add or remove templates do you have right to have these models:

    CONF
    Inetres
    System
    Wmplayer
    sooper

If this isn't the case, you must add them as described above.

For example, if inetres does not appear in the models (so, you must add), you won't see any substance IE under Windows Components.

Take a look at templates that are installed on the system that works and compare them to the distressed system.

What make and model of printer you have?

It could be virus/malware related butI I think this may just be caused by the drivers of your printer,

Make sure your machine is pest free, run a MalwareBytes scan on your computer: http://www.malwarebytes.org/

If the machine comes out clean reinstall your printer drivers.

    Hello Lscherr,

Thank you for your message.  To clarify, you are able to print out your design program?  You can try to perform a clean boot and printing of your design program.  A clean boot will start your computer without any 3rd party applications, you can then start your design software and test the printing functionality.  If you are able to print, the problem may be caused by another application of part 3.  Click HERE for instructions to boot.
