  I just installed the trial version of Photoshop CC on my computer. I try to open a file of a camera in Camera Raw D1X NEF, however, I see only a box yellow (instead of the image) on a blue background. Here is some useful information...

  In Bridge, the NEF thumbnail appears fine and a XMP is generated.

  If the XMP from my old version of bridge had been treated in my old version of Camera Raw, open NAVE ok file in the new version of Camera Raw, but it is defined in the 2003 process, ACR 4.4

  All other features of Camera Raw seems to work on the same image that I see the histogram update I make changes. Yet, it simply shows a yellow box instead of my image.

  Can anyone suggest how could this problem be addressed?

  Try to uncheck use Graphics Processor in the Camera Raw preferences. (Ctrl + K)

  After update applications CC (LR, bridge, CC PS, PS 2014), the camera raw has lost all of its features. Any file format raw (CR2, DNG, ARW) after opening in Camera Raw 9.0 appears under the BIG BLUE with X mark rectangle shape. LR and bridge display thumbnails correctly, but when you try to open any file of raw format, the display of the image area is all blue. I was wondering, has anyone else also having this problem or someone else already a response/solution/way around to get all the features of Camera Raw!

  I sincerely hope that this not a feature and is a serious bug, which eliminated hastily, under the name of new developments of the software, and therefore; wasting time and resources to paying customers.

  Not really happy on a Saturday night to find out that I'm in trouble, night shooting.

  I looked everywhere on the net to find some information on the Camera Raw Preferences dialog box to 11 items and the average/change settings. All I can find is "Preferences - allows you to change Camera Raw preferences.

  There must be a reason to have an icon/window of dialogue of preferences in Camera Raw, the button is right there next to the rotation buttons. No one knows what to do settings and how/why they should be used?

  

  There is not much just the elements version of camera raw, but there are several articles on the full version of camera raw in photoshop.

  Some of the things mentioned are not in the elements version, but it describes about the features in camera raw.

  I don't really think it will work, but I have a vague memory of something like this caused by different versions of a file in Bridge and Photoshop. If you want to try it go in the bridge folder and find a file named Amtlib.dll and rename the original Amtlib.dll. Now, go to your Photoshop folder and find the file with the same name and copy it in the folder of the bridge. Now, try to see if your image will now open in Raw. If this does not work, go to the folder of the bridge, remove the Amtlib.dll and restore the original to its former name.

  Yes, please check if you have Photoshop installed on your machine, if yes open it once so that you can edit your images in Camera Raw Utility in Bridge.

  Also, you can update the camera raw plugin: Camera Raw of Adobe Photoshop CC and CS6 Installer

  This is expected as profile tab behavior does not appear under Lens Correction Panel if you go to Camera Raw Filter in Photoshop

  However, profile tab would be there if you open a raw image directly in camera raw first.

  You can go to the filter menu > Lens correction in Photoshop, if you want to search for profiles with edit in Photoshop.

  Make sure that your Camera Raw is updated: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html

  It might be possible that you get this error because of activation problem if you receive the sign in the prompt on every launch of Photoshop.

  Launch Photoshop and verify that you are connected by selecting 'buy this software' and then go to file > Browse in Bridge and try to open any image in Camera Raw.
