  Hi, having a problem with one of our macs, after upgrading to Mac OS Sierra, it does not show library in the finder, open menu when you press and hold ALT option  When you create a new user profile to test the behavior even under this profile, the problem does not occur.  I don't know if it is a preferences file that could be the cause, hoping that someone else who maybe has a good idea of what could be the cause?  We tried to remove the com.apple.finder.plist files and restart just to see if it fixes, but have so far not been successful to actually solve the issue.  Thank you!  David

  Try this:

  1. In the OS X Finder, pull down the Go menu and choose homepage
  2. Pull down the view menu, and then choose Show Options
  3. At the bottom of the list of Display Options settings, check the box to display the library folder

  Now, you won't have to do the round of ALT go.

  I have another type of problem with Firefox

  Description

  Window "Ready to Install" Firefox "Software Update" appeared. The folder "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\updates\0" contained the files update.mar, update.status and update.version. Each of the 3 files have been deleted. The next time that Firefox has been started, no update occurred because update files were missing. In the Menu bar, clicking Help showed in the menu drop-down that "apply downloaded update now" was always on the list. By clicking on "Apply downloaded update now" open "Software Update" window "Ready to install update", so that Firefox still considers that the update files exist, but they do not. In the window "Software Update", by clicking on "Restart Firefox" restart of Firefox, but once again it there's no update, and remains "apply downloaded update now" on the Help menu. How can "Apply downloaded update now" be replaced by "Check for Updates" so the update files can be downloaded?

  You can manually reset the software update feature by closing Firefox and remove the file "updates" (which seems you have done) and the two files "active - update.xml" and "updates.xml" - these are in the installation (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox) directory or in the profile folder (C:\Documents and Settings\nom_utilisateur\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\something.default).

  I installed windows xp on a 2nd drive hard as I have some software that used to run correctly run windows 7. Now I have windows 7 and windows xp installed on different hard drives. Windows 7 was installed first windows xp 2nd. My problem is that the windows start menu will not be displayed while I can choose the version of windows I want to start up. is there a way manually activate and add the entry with Windows 7 using 3rd party software, so that the select os menu appear on start up.

  I've recently upgraded to the latest version of Photoshop (CC 2015 for Mac). I can't understand to get the names of open files. It appeared at the bottom of the window menu in my previous version of Photoshop; now, it's just a blank space (see image screenshot). Is this a bug in the new version? I just checked the update and it's showing that I have no updates pending.

  Also try in your list of recent files, clear the recent files list.

  If this doesn't fix it, we will remove the file from Photoshop settings:

  1. don't you make changes before the show?

  I spoke with Neelabh Sinha Microsoft based in New Delhi.  Several minutes of trashing the problem, we discussed the possibility of RF interference with my Microsoft wireless keyboard or mouse as a signal low resistance warning came a few times.  I discovered that, even if I did not use the keyboard wireless at the time, he was placed in storage always batteries.  Unknown to me, a book had fallen against the keyboard.  Despite my my laptop in a downstairs room far away from the location of the keyboard, the receiver picked up stray signals from it.  I was using a mouse without a wire with the receiver close to your computer and laptop was tested almost all the signal received from the keyboard.  However, some of the signal got through and are in conflict with the orders that I was typing on the laptop.  Standard keyboard strokes became orders of service and it is these conflicts which were manifested on the screen.
